    Abstract: Indonesia's food needs continue to increase along with population growth. Land development for supporting the cassava food estate is one of the priority programs of the central and regional governments. The purpose of this study was aimed at determining the need for power tiller for land management based on land area. This research was carried out at the planned location of the cassava plantation in Gunung Mas Regency, Central Kalimantan in 2020. The data on the land area planned was determined from a topographic map, while the tractor needs were obtained from the calculation of field capacity. The area of land suitable for cassava cultivation is 1227.57 ha which is divided into 25 blocks. The basis for the number of tractors as power tiller needed is determined from the time of tillage work so that it requires working capacity variables, including data on land area, work speed, and width of the plow implement. The plow studied in this study used 2, 3, 4, and 5 blades of disc plows. The need for a tractor with a 5-blade disc plow is 2 tractors that work fully and take turns cultivating an area of 1227.57 ha in the span of one cassava cultivation period (7-8 months). If the disc plow used is less than five blades, it will affect the working width of tillage, so the work time will be longer and the need for power tiller will increase. Keywords:   Cassava, Disk Plow, Food Estate, Power Tiller, Tractor

    Abstract: Lumajang Regency, especially Bades Village, is one of the central managements of coastal and marine areas in East Java Province. One of the fishermen groups in Bades Village is the Mina Dampar Fishermen Group. Until now, these fishermen groups have not been able to utilize coastal areas for small-scale people's ponds due to limited knowledge of intensive shrimp farming technology, limited access to capital, and limited market information. This Technical Guidance aims to broaden horizons and introduce vannamei shrimp farming technology to fishermen who are members of the Mina Dampar group. This technical guidance activity was carried out at the Fish Landing Base in Bades Village and was targeted at the Mina Dampar Fishermen Group. The mentoring method used is the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method. This Technical Guidance aims to broaden horizons and introduce vannamei shrimp farming technology to 10 fishermen who are members of the Mina Dampar group. This technical guidance consists of outreach activities and field orientation. This activity shows that fishermen are interested in cultivating vannamei shrimp in Bades Village, especially freshwater vannamei shrimp cultivation. Cultivating freshwater vannamei shrimp can be a source of income for fishermen while doing housework.

    Abstract: Abstract: Traditional Medicine Method, Treatment Method, Traditional Medicinal Herb Type, Plant Type. The empirical traditional medicine (battra) using herbs and physical skills to date is still in demand by the people in the Surakarta Residency area, reflected the increasing number of traditional healers who are currently performing traditional health practices, since they have been protected by Law no. 36 of 2014, which regulates the health of personnel, in article 11, paragraph 13, classifies traditional empirical health workers consisting of traditional herbal medicine and traditional health skills. It makes public confidence is still high with traditional medicine therefore need to be disclosed about the phenomenon of methods of traditional healers in the treatment of the community. The purpose of this study is to find out how batras perform detection of patient diseases, to know the method of treatment performed battra in treating patients, know the composition of the herb used for the treatment and know what medicinal plants used to treat patients. Qualitative research type with an explorative approach design with data collection method of indepth interviews and observation of 18 informants, using triangulation method, source and theory as test of data validity. The results of the study that battra use various ways to detect the patient's illness is bengan ask a complaint, history of the disease as well as menfatkan diognosa doctors are known from patients and check using aids such as reflection equipment, tensimeter, digital cameras and laptops to check iridology. there are 2 methods used battra treat the patient that is using herb/ herbal concoction and physical skill, among others cupping of reflexology, rukyah and therapy energi.didapatkan 23 type of concoction used to treat patient, and 81 medicinal plants used for patient's herb treatment.

    Abstract: Penelitian mempunyai tujuan merancang dan menilai kemampuan aliran panas pada pengeringan tray dryer untuk menunjang proses pemasokan benih semangka non-biji. Peneliti bekerja sama dengan petani Desa Seputih Mayang Jember yang bermitra dengan perushaan produsen benih PT East West Seed Indonesia. Pengeringan tray dryer yang tersusun atas rangka, dinding triplek, sumber pemanas, rongga pembuangan udara, rak, thermostat, blower, serta alat pengukur temperatur digital; sirkulasi panas bergerak dengan zig-zag. Penentuan panas pada pengeringan dengan mengukur pergantian temperatur pada setiap rak. Rak 1 (bawah) mendapatkan panas paling signifikan daripada rak lebih atas. Untuk menurunkan kadar air sebesar 12%, mesin pengering mengonsumsi energi sebesar 2,272 kWh atau setara dengan 8179,5 kJ, sementara kalor yang dilepas selama pengeringan adalah sebesar 1603,800 kJ. Sehingga, didapat efisiensi mesin pengering sebesar 19,59%.

    Abstract: Fires in steel construction, especially in welding joints, cause damage, changes in crystal structure, and mechanical properties of the material. Another effect of the fires, the material undergoes rapid cooling due to extinguishing using water. This research aims to simulate fires on ASTM A36 steel material to analyze the impact of fires. The method of this research is to perform GMAW welding on A36 steel material with heat treatment at 400 °C unti 700 °C and rapid cooling using water. The results of the research are the mechanical properties of the material in the form of crystal structure, hardness level and ultimate tensile strength. The crystal structure of ferrite and pearlite was observed, there was a change in structure, namely coarse ferrite, fine ferrite, and a mixture of bainite martensite. The highest hardness values of coupons temperature is 550 °C until 700 °C, comparison coupons, and coupons temperature at 400 °C-550 °C, which value 169,3 HV, 166.3 HV, and 141,3 HV in the weld zone. Tensile test fractures on the base metal with the ultimate tensile strength coupon with temperature 550 until 700 °C of 481,75 N/mm², the comparison coupon of 478,5 N/mm², and the temperature coupon of 400 until 550 °C which is 456 N/mm². The material is ductile.

    Abstract: Bogie frame adalah bagian utama bogie yang menerima beban besar selama beroperasi sehingga diperlukan analisis kekuatan struktur untuk memenuhi syarat kelayakan operasional berdasarkan Peraturan Nomor 33 Tahun 2021 tentang Penyelenggaraan Bidang Perkeretaapian dan standar EN 13749. Kelayakan operasional menjadi jaminan keselamatan penumpang, operator, maupun penduduk sekitar perlintasan. Fokus penelitian ini adalah analisis kekuatan desain struktur bogie frame kereta ukur jalur LRT Jabodebek terhadap kelayakan operasional. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis tegangan objek penelitian akibat pembebanan normal service dan memastikan nilai tegangan hasil simulasi memenuhi kriteria keberterimaan standar EN 13749. Solusi penelitian adalah pendekatan endurance limit objek penelitian. Nilai tegangan hasil simulasi dianalisis dengan goodman diagram. Data pendukung penelitian dan parameternya dari hasil survei dan wawancara di PT INKA (Persero). Hasil penelitian adalah lokasi element kritis objek penelitian, nilai tegangan element kritis tiap load case, dan plot nilai tegangan element. Objek penelitian belum memenuhi kriteria keberterimaan EN 13749 berdasarkan analisis dengan pendekatan goodman diagram. Satu element kritis pada bracket gearbox melebihi batas keberterimaan akibat load case longitudinal. Amplitudo tegangan element bernilai 157,09 MPa dari batas keberterimaan 155 MPa.  Perubahan ketebalan pipe transform dari 12 mm menjadi 20 mm efektif menurunkan nilai amplitudo tegangan element menjadi 88,41 MPa, sehingga kekuatan desain memenuhi kriteria keberterimaan.

    Abstract: Keakuratan merupakan faktor penting dalam pengukuran. Alat ukur temperatur dan kelembapan (SMD22) dapat digunakan untuk pengujian temperatur dan kelembapan di delapan titik sekaligus pada kereta rel diesel elektrik (KRDE). Alat ukur (SMD22) ini belum diketahui nilai keakuratannya, sehingga mengakibatkan hasil pengukuran yang tidak konsisten. Solusi dari permasalahan tersebut adalah dilakukan kalibrasi pada alat ukur (SMD22). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan alat ukur yang tertelusur dalam pengukuran temperatur dan kelembapan. Metode penelitian ini adalah membandingkan hasil data alat ukur (SMD22) terhadap hasil data alat ukur UNI-T sebagai standar acuan. Proses pengukuran dilakukan di delapan titik pengujian pada kereta M. Data pengukuran diolah untuk memperoleh deviasi atau penyimpangan dari hasil pengukuran alat ukur (SMD22). Hasil penelitian ini yaitu nilai error minimum 0,1 °C dan nilai error maksimum 0,5 °C untuk pengukuran temperatur. Sedangkan untuk pengukuran humidity, nilai error minimum 0,3 %RH dan nilai error maksimum 4,5 %RH. Dan nilai ketidakpastian relatif alat ukur SMD22 sebesar 0,3 % hingga 4,0 % untuk pengukuran temperatur dan nilai ketidakpastian relatif 0,1 % hingga 7,7 % untuk pengukuran humidity. Nilai error sesuai dengan datasheet dengan toleransi 0,5 °C untuk pengukuran temperatur, 5 %RH untuk pengukuran humidity dan nilai ketidakpastian relatif tidak melebihi 10 % menunjukkan tingkat akurasi yang baik.
