Abstract:
Bemerkenswerte Neuigkeiten gibt es von dem lange bekannten und gut untersuchten Reaktionssystem Naphthalin/Natrium in THF zu berichten: Bei Raumtemperatur kommt es zu reversiblen intermolekularen Wasserstoffübertragungen zwischen Naphthalinringen, aber auch mit THF‐Molekülen. Dagegen zeigen die entsprechenden Lithium‐ und Kaliumsysteme kein solches Verhalten. Alkane und Cycloalkane als Lösungszusatz wiederum bewirken eine deutliche Erhöhung der H/D‐Austauschgeschwindigkeit im Natriumsystem. Auch Benzol, Toluol, Ethen und sogar Methan (!) nehmen im System Naphthalin/Natrium in THF an H/D‐Austauschreaktionen teil.
