Abstract:
Kathy Greeley, Susan Marhowitz, and Carol Rank describe the development of a curriculum for high school students in the Boston public school system. Unique to this curriculum is its focus on increased federal and state military spending appropriations and the subsequent decline in financial assistance to human service needs. The authors discuss the implementation process through which their Crossroads curriculum was accepted by the Boston school committee.
