Abstract:
Interpersonal communication skills are an indispensable tool in the diagnostic and therapeutic process. The communication is divided
into verbal and non-verbal, both those forms are complementary to each other, creating a completely legible message of information. The aim of the work was to show the theoretical basis of the importance of interpersonal communication in the profession of a laboratory diagnostician. Effective communication is best seen between the doctor and the patient who, through indirect or direct contact,
act together in the diagnostic and therapeutic procedure. However, there is no data on interpersonal communication in the relations of a laboratory diagnostician with a patient and other medical professions. Therefore, it can be concluded from this work that efficient
communication of information in health care is an indispensable tool in achieving therapeutic successes. The better communication between medical professions, the faster targeted treatment can be implemented.
