Abstract: Due to the rapid development and wide application of air attack weapons, air defence missiles against them are increasingly important and have become the main air defence weapons in modern war. However, interception strategy of air defence missile system is ignored in previous studies. Thus, using the combinatorial optimization, this paper proposes a methodology to optimize the strategy of ADMS in a missile-target interception process in order to minimize the expected costs for defender. According to the practice, the considered process has multiple targets and multiple phases, and the expected costs are composed of the loss caused by targets and the cost for intercept missiles. Two numerical examples are presented to illustrate the proposed methodology. The results of the examples show that interception strategies have a great impact on the expected costs of ADMS during a missile-target interception process.

Abstract: Emerging studies have revealed the critical role of long non‐coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) development and progression. Till now, the roles and potential mechanisms regarding FEZF1 antisense RNA 1 (FEZF1‐AS1) within ovarian cancer (OC) remain unclear. The objective of this study was to uncover the biological function and the underlying mechanism of LncRNA FEZF1‐AS1 in OC progression. FEZF1‐AS1 expression levels were studied in cell lines and tissues of human ovarian cancer. In vitro studies were performed to evaluate the impact of FEZF1‐AS1 knock‐down on the proliferation, invasion, migration and apoptosis of OC cells. Interactions of FEZF1‐AS1 and its target genes were identified by luciferase reporter assays. Our data showed overexpression of FEZF1‐AS1 in OC cell lines and tissues. Cell migration, proliferation, invasion, wound healing and colony formation were suppressed by silencing of FEZF1‐AS1. In contrast, cell apoptosis was promoted by FEZF1‐AS1 knock‐down in vitro. Furthermore, online bioinformatics analysis and tools suggested that FEZF1‐AS1 directly bound to miR‐130a‐5p and suppressed its expression. Moreover, the inhibitory effects of miR‐130a‐5p on the OC cell growth were reversed by FEZF1‐AS1 overexpression, which was associated with the increase in SOX4 expression. In conclusion, our results revealed that FEZF1‐AS1 promoted the metastasis and proliferation of OC cells by targeting miR‐130a‐5p and its downstream SOX4 expression.

Abstract: Muscle RING‐finger (MuRF) proteins are E3 ubiquitin ligases that are expressed in striated muscle. MuRF2 is an important member of this family, but whether it is expressed in tissues other than striated muscle has not been thoroughly elucidated to date. In this study, we determined that Mu RF 2 is also expressed in other vital organs, including liver, lung, brain, spleen and kidney. Moreover, we show that the level of Mu RF 2 expression is significantly decreased in hepatic mononuclear cells of mice with lipopolysaccharide ( LPS )/ d ‐galactosamine‐induced hepatitis and negatively correlated with the serum levels of alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase in these mice. Furthermore, the expression of Mu RF 2 was down‐regulated in RAW 264.7 cells activated with LPS but not in cells treated with polyinosinic‐polycytidylic acid (Poly(I:C)) or with lipidosome plus Poly(I:C). We also found that Mu RF 2 was able to translocate from the cytoplasm to the nucleus in RAW 264.7 cells activated with LPS but not in cells treated with Poly(I:C). In addition, we demonstrated that interleukin 6 and tumour necrosis factor α production and macrophage migration were inhibited after MuRF2 was overexpressed in RAW 264.7 cells. We further verified that nuclear factor‐κB p65 subunit level was greatly reduced in RAW 264.7 macrophage nuclei by gain of function. Taken together, these findings indicate that Mu RF 2 may rescue LPS ‐induced macrophage activation by suppressing the production of proinflammatory cytokines and cell migration. We also identify a novel function of Mu RF 2 in non‐muscle tissues and cells.

Abstract: The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) is a large liquid scintillator detector designed to explore many topics in fundamental physics. In this study, the potential of searching for proton decay in the mode with JUNO is investigated. The kaon and its decay particles feature a clear three-fold coincidence signature that results in a high efficiency for identification. Moreover, the excellent energy resolution of JUNO permits suppression of the sizable background caused by other delayed signals. Based on these advantages, the detection efficiency for the proton decay via is 36.9% ± 4.9% with a background level of events after 10 years of data collection. The estimated sensitivity based on 200 kton-years of exposure is years, which is competitive with the current best limits on the proton lifetime in this channel and complements the use of different detection technologies.

Abstract: The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector. Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for B solar neutrino measurements, such as its low-energy threshold, high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors, and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors. In this paper, we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process. A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable, assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background U and Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10 g/g. With ten years of data acquisition, approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected. This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter, which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework. If eV , JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3 (2 ) level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle. Moreover, JUNO can simultaneously measure using B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better, depending on the central value, and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos. A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment.
