Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah model pembelajaran MMP mempengaruhi kemampuan metakognisi siswa.

Abstract: Abstract. Carbon sink and greenhouse gas emission of dryland vegetation cover in tourism villages in Flores Island, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Biodiversitas 24: 1998-2005. Due to its natural features and scenery, the dryland ecosystem has recently become a tourist destination. One of the growing dryland ecosystems for village tourism is Flores Island, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Those tourism villages have the potential to promote carbon sequestration through the preservation of natural resources and, at the same time, can release Green-House Gases (GHG). Despite growing research on carbon stock, there is little information on the carbon budget of a dryland tourism village, which includes the values of carbon stock sequestered from the atmosphere and greenhouse gas emissions. This research aimed to measure the carbon stock and GHG emissions in three villages containing paddy fields, savanna, and forest covers. The measured gases, including CO2, CH4, and N2O, were collected using the gas chamber method and analyzed using gas chromatography. The result shows that forest land covers have the highest carbon stock, with average values of 97.44 Mg ha-1 within the 57.34-117.5 Mg ha-1. A low average carbon stock of 17.39 Mg ha-1 was observed in paddy fields. The GHG was in the order of CO2 〉 CH4 〉 N2O. The paddy field has higher GHG than other land covers, with average CO2, CH4, and N2O values of 292.45 ppm, 1.35 ppm, and 1.09 ppm. While CO2, CH4, and N2O values for the forest were 281.05 ppm, 1.30 ppm, 1.05 ppm, 272.83 ppm, 1.26 ppm, and 1.02 ppm for savanna covers.

NDVI, suitability, and carrying capacity of Dieng Plateau Forests to sustain Dieng Kulon Village tourism. Biodiversitas 24: 282-289. Village tourism is a form of tourism that can support the conservation of an ecosystem. On the Dieng Plateau, Dieng Kulon is one of the tourism villages located in Banjarnegara district, Central Java, Indonesia. Despite the rapid growth of tourism in Dieng and its potential environmental consequences, information on tourism carrying capacity in Dieng is still limited. Here, this study aims to measure the suitability and carrying capacity of Dieng Kulon Village. The suitability for tourism is measured based on the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI). Equation was used to calculate the carrying capacity. According to the findings, forest areas with a size of 23.9% and high NDVI values ranging from 0.87 to 0.91 were deemed very suitable for birdwatching and hiking activities. Agricultural land made up nearly half of the village (57.1%) with high NDVI values (ranging from 0.36-0.86) was deemed ideal for sightseeing activities. In comparison to other types of land, agricultural land had the highest carrying capacity, followed by forest land. Agricultural land can support 84.8-155.2 people per day for sightseeing activities. Forest areas are suitable for hiking and birdwatching activities. At least 51.6 to 334.9 people per day are allowed for hiking activities. Birdwatching in the forest is limited to 3.1-19.9 people per day. To conclude, carrying capacity information is very important for managing village tourism in a sustainable manner.

Abstract: One of ways to increase the success of hatching eggs is by selecting and separating the eggs embryonated (fertile) with eggs are not embryonated (infertile) by way of observation (candling). This system utilizes digital image processing as an identification process. By this system, it is expected that the identification results will be more accurate results than conventional monitoring, so as to increase the results of hatching. This system utilizes a flashlight as a medium, so that the egg's internal condition can be seen which then takes pictures by the webcam. After that the digital image processing is done by converting the original image (RGB) to binary image by providing a thresholding value (T), the T value is very influential in the next image processing, opening and closing, thinning the image (thinning), and contour detection. Then from the final process of contour detection produces the number of detection of blood vessels that are considered as embryos as a determinant of the outcome category of identification. From the experiments carried out the percentage of conformity between the original condition of the egg with the results obtained in the system that is 88.88%, in determining the yield category (fertile/infertile) with an error of 11.12%. For the suitability of the estimated percentage of hatchlings themselves have a success of 61.11% with an error of 38.89%. These results are influenced by many factors like the condition of the eggs and supporting devices in the system.
