Abstract: Introduction: Monkeypox is a rare, viral and emerging disease, although in recent months it has become a growing concern for health professionals and public health authorities around the world. The disease is caused by an orthopoxvirus of the same genus as the human smallpox virus and can cause serious complications in both humans and animals. Objective: To show, through the scientific literature, the complications of monkeypox. Methodology: This is an integrative literature review research, carried out between the months of May and July 2023, through a survey of data in the scientific bases of health: LILACS and SCIELO. Results and Discussion: Through the analysis of the selected studies, the main information for the discussion of this study was evaluated. Scientific evidence has shown that monkeypox complications can vary according to the severity of the patient and can affect different systems of the human body. The scientific literature has pointed out that the main complications of monkeypox include skin infections and skin abscesses. In addition, infection with the virus can provoke the development of cardiac complications, such as myocarditis and heart failure. It can cause abnormal heart rhythms and other cardiovascular problems. Monkeypox develops more severely in people with weakened immune systems because the body has difficulty controlling viral replication. In such cases, the infection can spread quickly and affect various organs and systems in the body. Conclusion: Complications of monkeypox pose significant public health and safety challenges. Although the disease is less lethal than smallpox in humans, it can cause serious complications in infected patients, with localized cutaneous effects such as pustule formation and secondary infections, as well as systemic effects affecting vital organs and body systems.

Abstract: Introduction: Women’s health has a history marked by a long process of building the SUS. The Comprehensive Assistance Program for Women’s Health (PAISM) was a public policy implemented with the aim of incorporating services for the promotion, prevention, assistance and recovery of women’s health throughout Brazil. In this perspective, the discussion about the different phases of a woman’s life that are still neglected by the services is inserted, such as the climacteric, when related to the symptoms, this phase is usually accompanied by many physical and emotional changes. Objective: To identify the importance of early diagnosis of climacteric in PHC, as well as treatment measures to minimize the symptoms of this period. Method: An integrative literature review was used, with a descriptive and exploratory approach, carried out in the following databases: SCIELO, BDENF, BRISA and LILACS. Results and Discussions: It was observed from the analysis of the literature, that during the climacteric phase, women go through many symptoms that cause discomfort to their well-being, in this way, it was evidenced that Primary Health Care has a essential role aimed at assisting these women, which involves the implementation of practices aimed at the early diagnosis and treatment of climacteric symptoms, of these, the consultations carried out by the PHC multidisciplinary team, is a starting point for women’s health care , reaching the PNAISM proposal. Final Considerations: Early diagnosis and guidance provided by the multidisciplinary team are of paramount importance for the promotion of women’s well-being. On the other hand, it is still evident that many professionals are not prepared to offer the proper care to them. Therefore, a training plan for continuing education is suggested for the professionals who make up the primary care services, especially the UBS.

Abstract: Introduction: The pandemic caused damage globally, the realities of entire societies were affected and had to adapt to different scenarios and sensitivities. Among the damage caused, it can be noted that in the private sector scenario, the number of elective surgeries gradually decreases. The situation experienced by the public during the peak of the pandemic caused interruptions in elective surgeries, as the spread of the virus affected the hospital routine and led to the suspension of non-urgent procedures. Objective: To highlight the impacts of Covid-19 on scheduling and performing elective surgeries. Methodology: this is an integrative literature review, whose purpose is to investigate evident answers to the topic in question, where a survey of data was carried out in the scientific bases: LILACS, SCIELO and MEDLINE. Results and Discussion: The results indicate that, in the face of the pandemic, many health systems chose to postpone or cancel non-emergency elective surgeries, allocating resources for the treatment of patients with COVID-19 and aiming to reduce the exposure of patients and health professionals to the virus. This culminated in a considerable decrease in the performance of elective surgeries in various specialties, such as orthopedics, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, among others. Conclusion: Additionally, the investigation revealed that the pandemic also had impacts on the ability of hospitals to provide adequate perioperative care. In short, the search for a balance between the continuity of health services and safeguarding against the virus is a constant process, in which lessons learned from the past will influence choices and initiatives in the future.

Abstract: Objective: To analyze the role of the nurse in the education and promotion of self-care in Parkinsonian elderly patients. Method: This is an integrative review study, carried out through a survey of data in the scientific bases: LILACS, SCIELO and MEDLINE. Results: Nine studies were selected for the research discussion. Discussion: Home health care is defined as providing services to patients at home. Care starts with the personal, initially through activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, nutrition, exercise, clothing, as well as through guidelines for dressing and administering medications as needed. Care for the elderly is observed, carried out at home by relatives who normally do not receive the necessary training. Final Considerations: Nurses must implement a care system that describes all the necessary care procedures for patients, allow other team members to implement and monitor the patient's development and encourage self-care at each stage of the disease.

Abstract: The rates reported by Chagas disease have intensified as a result of the determining factors for the disease. In this sense, with the arrival of Covid-19 in Brazil, several notifiable diseases were neglected, influencing Chagas disease, where cases were left aside, as if it were not of great importance during the peak period of the pandemic. Consequently, the lack of notification resulted in making individuals more vulnerable to acquiring the disease and developing aggravating clinical outcomes. Thus, the objective of this study is to compare the incidence of Chagas disease before and during the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as to discuss the factors that imply the clinical diagnosis. This research was carried out through a cross-sectional analysis, using epidemiological data from reported cases of Chagas disease in two periods: before and during Covid-19. The data collection was carried out by the Notifiable Diseases Information System - SINAN and the Unified Health System Database - DATASUS, where the collected data are concentrated between the period from September 2017 to August 2020 , among the states of the northeast region of Brazil. Therefore, by observational analysis, it was found every year that the northern region is always ahead of confirmed cases of the disease and during Covid-19 these numbers are still high, because in the pandemic period, actions were neglected to prevent, control and care for diseases including Chagas disease.
