    Abstract: Mục tiêu: xác định sự biến đổi và giá trị chẩn đoán của sức cơ trong mệt mỏi thể lực quân sự. Phương pháp: nghiên cứu thực nghiệm, tiến cứu, theo dõi chỉ số sức cơ cơ tối đa và sức bền cơ. Kết quả: sức cơ giảm sau mệt mỏi thể lực: sức bóp tay giảm (từ 40,69 còn 36,46kg, giảm -10,28%), sức kéo thân giảm (từ 99,70 còn 84,30kg, giảm -15,80%), sức bền tay giảm (từ 60,80 còn 37,36 giây, giảm -37,86%), sức bền chân giảm (từ 90,80 còn 52,30 giây, giảm -41,56%); sức cơ chỉ có giá trị chẩn đoán mệt mỏi thể lực tại thời điểm khi kết thúc lao động (tỷ lệ chẩn đoán đúng đạt 100%), không có giá trị chẩn đoán tại thời điểm phút 60 sau lao động. Kết luận: sức co cơ giảm trong trạng thái mệt mỏi thể lực quân sự, có giá trị chẩn đoán mệt mỏi thể lực tại thời điểm kết thúc lao động (tỷ lệ chẩn đoán đúng đạt 100%).

    Abstract: The gold nanoparticle solutions are well known as an extremely sensitive biomedical analytical tool due to the strong dependence of their absorption in the visible range on the environment. In this work, the colloidal nano golds were synthesized from metal precursor chloroauric acid (HAuCl4) using trisodium citrate dehydrate (C6H5O7Na3) as reducing and stabilizing agents. The optical characterization - absorption of colloidal gold solution have been investigated under the different synthetic conditions such as: reducing agent concentration, concentration of auric ion, pH, duration of reaction and aging time. The results show that the absorption and the stability of the colloidal gold nanoparticles depend robustly on the synthetic conditions and pH of environment.

    Abstract: Caching has received much attention as a promising technique to overcome high data rate and stringent latency requirements in the future wireless networks. The premise of caching technique is to prefetch most popular contents closer to end users in local cache of edge nodes, e.g., base station (BS). When a user requests a content that is available in the cache, it can be served directly without being sent from the core network. In this paper, we investigate the performance of hierarchical caching systems, in which both BS and end users are equipped with a storage memory. In particular, we propose a novel cooperative caching scheme that jointly optimizes the content placement at the BS’s and users’ caches. The proposed caching scheme is analytically shown to achieve a larger global caching gain than the reference in both uncoded – and coded caching strategies. Finally, numerical results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed caching algorithm.     Abstract: Objectives: To investigate the level of serum soluble ST2 (sST2) and its association with some clinical and subclinical indices in patients with chronic heart failure (HF). Methods: A prospective cohort study was performed on 116 patients diagnosed with chronic HF at the Cardiology Department, Military Hospital 103, Hanoi and Cardiology Department, 19-8 Hospital - Ministry of Public Security, Hanoi, Vietnam, and 40 control patients at General Health Examination Department, Military Hospital 103, Hanoi from November 1, 2019 to September 30, 2022. Serum sST2 was measured using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results: The mean age (± standard deviation) of patients with chronic HF was 68.3 (± 15.9) years, with 57.8% of the total patients who showed their age was 〉 65 years. The median serum sST2 level in the group of patients with chronic HF (median: 5.89 ng/mL) was significantly higher than those in the control group (median: 2.39 ng/ml) (p 〈 0.05). Serum sST2 level increased as LVEF decreased, with the highest level in HF with reduced EF patient group, followed by HF with mildly reduced EF, and HF with preserved EF groups. Serum sST2 level had a significant, positive correlation with heart rate in chronic HF patients. The serum sST2 level in the group of NYHA class IV was significantly higher than those in the group of NYHA class III and II (p 〈 0.05). Conclusion: The level of serum sST2 increased in chronic HF patients. Serum sST2 level associated with left ventricular ejection fraction, and NYHA classification in chronic HF patients.

    Abstract: Salinity stress is one of the most severe constraints limiting rice production worldwide. Thus, the development of salt-tolerant rice promises to deal with increasing food demand due to climate change effects. This study investigated the salinity tolerance of mutant rice by evaluating phenotype and genotype, using forty-two simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers linked to the salinity tolerance Saltol quantitative trait locus (QTL) in ten cultivars and mutant lines. Results of phenotypic screening showed that the mutant line SKLo/BC15TB and cultivar BC15TB performed salt tolerance, while the mutant line Bao Thai/DT 84 and cultivar DT84DB were sensitive to salt stress. The markers RM 493, RM 562, RM 10748, RM 518, RM 237, and RM 20224 were the most polymorphic in salinity tolerance. Among them, RM 237, RM 10748, and RM 224 showed the highest polymorphism information (PIC = 0.58). This study reveals that the three markers are profitable for classification of salinity tolerance in both cultivar and mutant rice. The mutant line SKLo/BC15TB and cultivar BC15TB were found to be promising candidates for diversity analysis of salt-tolerant rice. Findings of this study are useful for developing new salinity-tolerant rice cultivars towards climate change.

    Abstract: "Cam" rice bran was considered a waste product from rice, which is rich in natural compounds and protein owing to its outstanding nutritional value. This study aimed to establish an optimization model for extracting protein from rice bran, with two responses: extraction yield (%) and protein content (%). The variable parameters included were pH (8.5-9.5), stirring time (3.5-4.5 h), and enzyme incubation temperature (85-95°C). The coefficient of determination for both models were above 0.95, indicating a high correlation between the actual and estimated values. The maximum extraction yield and protein content were achieved when the conditions were set at pH of 9.02, stirring time of 4.02 h, and extraction temperature of 90.6°C. Under these optimum conditions, the predicted protein extracted from rice bran was 43.03% (moisture 〈 13.0%), with an extraction yield of 15.9%. The findings of this study suggested that this protocol can enhance the utilization of rice bran and might be employed on a large scale in the food industry to exploit the nutritional source.

    Abstract: Mục tiêu: Đánh giá mối liên quan giữa biến đổi nồng độ sST2 huyết thanh và một số đặc điểm lâm sàng ở bệnh nhân suy tim mạn tính sau một đợt điều trị. Đối tượng và phương pháp: tổng số 116 bệnh nhân được chẩn đoán suy tim mạn tính điều trị tại Bệnh viện Quân y 103 và Bệnh viện 198 được thu thập từ tháng 11/2019 đến tháng 10/2022. Nồng độ sST2 huyết thanh được định lượng bằng phương pháp ELISA. Tương quan hạng pearson hoặc kiểm định Independent Samples T-Test được sử dụng để đánh giá mối liên quan giữa chỉ số log (sST2) với biến đổi các triệu chứng lâm sàng. Kết quả: Sau điều trị, giá trị trung bình log (sST2) giảm có ý nghĩa thống kê so với trước điều trị. Giảm nồng độ sST2, NT-proBNP huyết thanh và tăng giá trị phân suất tống máu thất trái được quan sát sau điều trị. Giảm nồng độ sST2 sau điều trị có tương quan thuận và có ý nghĩa thống kê với mức cải thiện phân độ NYHA của bệnh nhân. Tuy nhiên, nồng độ NT-proBNP giảm hay sự gia tăng phân suất tống máu thất trái sau một đợt điều trị không có tương quan có ý nghĩa thống kê với sự cải thiện phân độ NYHA. Kết luận: Sự biến thiên nồng độ sST2 nối tiếp sau điều trị có liên quan tới biến đổi đặc điểm lâm sàng ở bệnh nhân suy tim mạn tính.
