Abstract:
Educators within the health professions are increasingly asked to demonstrate outcomes of educational interventions. Within academia and clinical practice, educators are expected to measure, monitor, and, in many cases, report outcomes of their work. As continuing education transitions to a more deliberate emphasis on outcomes, common questions include how to identify and measure outcomes and how to write an outcome statement. This article will focus on how to write an outcome statement. J Contin Educ Nurs. 2015;46(9):381–383.
