    Abstract: Introduction. Despite the significant measures and programs implemented by the countryʼs leadership to improve the financial literacy of the Russian population, students of Russian universities are still not financially literate enough. In this regard, it is necessary to develop and implement a set of intra-university educational practice-oriented technologies that can improve financial literacy and economic independence of students during the period of university education. The purpose of the article is to show the features and opportunities of regional universities of the country in solving the problem of improving financial literacy of student youth. Materials and Methods. The study of the problem of formation of financial literacy of student youth during university education was conducted on the basis of a questionnaire survey of 565 students from 29 universities of the Russian Federation in May‒June 2022 using a specially designed questionnaire via Google Forms. The results of the questionnaire survey were processed using the SPSS program and the method of comparative analysis of responses of students of leading (federal, national research, metropolitan) and regional Russian universities, which made it possible to identify and analyze the peculiarities of studentsʼ financial literacy formation depending on the status of their higher education institution Results. Self-assessment of students of regional universities of their financial literacy showed its low level, indicating the insufficiency or lack of serious knowledge in the financial sphere. At the same time, students understand the importance of financial literacy and indicate their willingness to participate in various forms of training on this issue. To implement the educational process aimed at intensive formation of studentsʼ financial literacy, the system of continuous practice-oriented formation of financial literacy is proposed. Discussion and Conclusion. The materials of the article can be useful in the organization of educational process in universities to improve financial literacy of students. In the future, the study will be supplemented by analyzing the formation of studentsʼ financial literacy at different stages of education on the basis of taking into account the influence of age, year of study and other factors.

    Abstract: Problem and objective. In modern conditions, the problem of improving the financial literacy of students becomes relevant due to the need for the rapid development of the financial system, the expansion of the range of financial services, the emergence of new and often difficult for students to understand financial instruments. At the same time, there is an inability of student youth, and sometimes even unwillingness, to set life goals for themselves, especially in the financial sphere. The purpose of the article is to analyze the practice of setting and achieving life goals by students as a tool to improve their financial literacy. Research methods. The information base of the study is the scientific publications of scientists in the field of setting life goals and financial literacy of students, a comparison of the results of a questionnaire survey of 565 students from 29 Russian universities and an expert survey of 36 highly qualified specialists of Russian universities. Results of the study. The assessment by students of the importance of setting life goals indicates a misunderstanding by many students of the importance of this factor in ensuring their successful life. Less than half of the students surveyed (49.0%) set and achieve life goals in the field of finance on their own, the rest, due to their age and lack of experience, resort to the advice of relatives, friends and acquaintances (51.0%). The educational process at a university implies the development of students' skills in setting and achieving life goals, however, more than a third of the students surveyed (35.4%) believe that they have not yet acquired competencies that allow them to formulate and implement life goals, including in the field of finance. The majority of many students (32.2%) lack the practice of self-control of the results of their achievement of life goals. Against the background of a low level of goal-setting among students, their self-assessment of their own level of financial literacy also turned out to be at an unsatisfactory level. This confirms the necessity and importance of the educational technologies proposed by the authors. Conclusion. The scientific novelty of the research results lies in substantiating the importance of a competent setting and striving to achieve life goals as a significant tool for ensuring a high level of financial literacy among students. The proposed educational technologies help to increase the efficiency of the process of setting and implementing students' life goals, including goals in the field of finance.

    Abstract: Introduction. The problem of assessment and enhancement of social resistance of the Russian students is dealt with in the article. It focuses on the influence of a number of factors on the enhancement of social resistance among students under modern conditions. The authors give the first ever quantitative assessment of social resistance of students of higher education institutions in Russia. The purpose of the article is to examine the results of a study on the formation of social sustainability of students, to conduct on this basis an assessment of its level, to summarize the experience of developing and using special educational technologies that increase social sustainability and students' readiness for future professional activities. Materials and Methods. The following methods are used: questioning, expert poll, comparison, decomposition, and the group analysis. Data from more than 40 domestic and foreign sources are analyzed. The study population included students of Russian typical regional universities, the sampling totality comprised 400 students of 13 state-financed universities from 5 federal districts of the Russian Federation. The study also involved 36 skilled experts. Results. The research broadened the comprehension of the role and importance of the enhancement of student social resistance using special educational technologies. The coefficient of social resistance of Russian students (0.36) is not high enough. Also, the study revealed that for 50 % students the need of personal and professional development for successful employment in the futur e was a priority. Discussion and Conclusion. Conclusions are drawn concerning the need to realize the system of dedicated measures directed to increase the social resistance of the Russian students. The paper addresses students and teaching staff of Russian higher schools, education authorities as well as scientists studying problems of students’ evolvement.
