Abstract:
The iron doped Y-Sr-Cu-O superconductor was prepared via the oxalate coprecipitation method. The superconducting transition temperature is 63 K and the zero resistivity temperature is 55 K for YSr 2.2 Cu 2.6 Fe 0.25 O y . The superconductor has a tetragonal structure with the lattice constants of a =3.8022(10) Å and c =11.4206(36) Å. Preliminary characterization of the properties such as X-ray diffraction, resistivity, magnetic properties, lattice constants and oxygen content of the Y-Sr-Fe-Cu-O obtained after high-temperature treatment are reported.
