Abstract:
Treatment with LCT vs. MCT/LCT emulsions produce an increase in linoleic acid (18:2n6) and a decrease in arachidonic acid (20:4n6) in phospholipids’ fatty acids that are suggestive of an inhibition of Δ‐5‐desaturase.
