    Abstract: Kombucha is a fermented beverage of tea and sugar with a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast, consumed for its beneficial effect on human health.  Kombucha contains antioxidant activity compounds.Yet, many research studies have shown that Soursop leaves contain vitamin C, Vitamin E, beta carotene, and flavoloids.  The purpose of this study was to determine the activity levels of vitamin C kombucha tea leaves of the soursop, The research was conducted in September 2016 in Chemistry Laboratory of Biology Education Study Program, Teaching Training and  Ilmu Tarbiyah Faculty UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The research method was an experimental laboratory using a Completly Randomized Design (CRD) with 2 factors, the first factor was fermentation days (0 day (F1), 4 day (F2), 8 day (F3) and 12 day (F4)), and the second factor was the levels of soursop leaf tea is used (0 gr (K1), 20 gr (K2), 40 gr (K3), and 60 gr (K4)) with 3 replications. The results showed that there is a very real influence and interaction between fermentation days and content of soursop leaf tea is used to the levels of vitamin C. The highest levels of vitamin C present in the sample F4K4 (12 day / 60 gr) of 343.79 mg / 100 mL, and lowest vitamin C levels in samples F4K1 (12 day / without leaves of the soursop) amounted to 36.37 mg / 100 mL. The conclusion of this research is long fermentation and content of soursop leaves influence on the vitamin C activity.

    Abstract: The growth of weeds in the rice fields can reduce production. Weed is a disrupting plant that grows and spreads rapidly so it becomes a nutritional competitor for cultivated plants. This study aims to identify rice weeds in the fields of Rimau District, Banyuasin, South Sumatra. The research method used was descriptive method with purposive sampling on wetland rice fields of the Ciherang variety. Sampling was carried out in a critical period (3-6 weeks after planting) in rice fields. The results of weed identification obtained 6 families consisting of 15 species, namely Ageratum conyzoides L., Crassocephalum crepidioides, Cleome rutidisprema DC., Cyperusroduntus L. Cyperus compressus, Eleocharis palustris L., Frimbristylis miliacea L. Vahl, Phylanthus naruri L., Eurphobia hirta, Cynodon dactylon (L.) Press., Digitaria ciliaris (Retz.) Koel., Echinochola colona (L.) Link., Eleusinindica (L.) Gaertn., Paspalum scrobiculatum L., Ludwigia octovalvis (Jacq.) Raven. The Poaceae family is most commonly found as a rice weed in Rimau District, South Sumatra.

    Abstract: In this work, we reported a comparative study on the phytochemical screening and antioxidant activity of aqueous extract from different parts of Moringa oleifera plant, i.e. leaves, twigs, stem barks, and woods. The phytochemical content of each extract was screened through qualitative analysis and followed by quantitative analysis for the determination of total phenolic content and total flavonoid content. The results showed that different parts of Moringa oleifera plant would give different extracted natural products. Either leaf or twig part of Moringa oleifera contained alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, carbohydrates, polyphenols, proteins, amino acids, and phenolics. Meanwhile, only flavonoids, carbohydrates, and phenolics were found in the aqueous extract of the wood part of Moringa oleifera. In agreement to the phytochemical assay, the aqueous extract of leaf part of Moringa oleifera gave the highest total phenolic content (684 ± 16.7 µg GAE mL-1) and the highest flavonoid content (514 ± 26.1 µg CE mL-1) than other parts. Consequently, the leaf extract exhibited the highest antioxidant activity (64.6 ± 0.69%) which is close to the antioxidant activity of ascorbic acid (71.7 ± 0.56%) as the positive control. This finding is critical for the utilization of Moringa oleifera leaf part as the most potent source of antioxidant agents in the future.

    Abstract: Metode praktikum di sekolah dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, keterampilan berfikir kreatif, keterampilan proses sains, sikap ilmiah, minat, motivasi dan pemahaman konsep. Salah satu penunjang praktikum adalah media belajar. Preparat merupakan salah satu media untuk pengamatan jaringan tumbuhan di sekolah, namun penggunaan preparat sulit dilakukan karena preparat awetan cenderung dinilai mahal, dan tumbuhan pada preparat kurang dikenali siswa. Pembuatan preparat basah merupakan alternatif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pengembangan preparat basah jaringan tumbuhan menggunakan pewarna alternatif angkak beras merah dan teh untuk menunjang kegiatan praktikum pada mata pelajaran Biologi di sekolah. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pewarna alternatif larutan angkak beras merah dan teh (Camelia sinensis) dapat mewarnai jaringan batang Oxalis barrelieri (dikotil) dan Cyperus rotundus (monokotil). Intensitas penyerapan zat warna angkak beras merah dan teh lebih tinggi pada jaringan sklerenkim dibandingkan dengan jaringan lainnya

    Abstract: Fungus belong to eukaryotic prosthetic organisms that are chemohypertrophic. When studying the properties of fungus, a material is needed as a nutritional source to grow or isolate fungus known as the media. The most commonly used media for fungal culture is instant PDA media. The relatively high price of instant PDA media is a common problem. That's why we need alternative media that are more economical. The aim of this research is to test whether the gadung tuber flour media can be used as an alternative to PDA. Method used in this study is the experimental method and  design used, fully randomized design with 6 treatments and 4 replicates. Concentrations of gadung tuber flour used were 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25%. The data obtained was analyzed with Annova with a confidence level of 95%. The results showed that the grading tuber meal alternative media had a significant effect on the growth of Candida albicans. Fungus can grow in alternative media at a concentration of 5% to 25% with the highest number of colonies at a concentration of 25%, namely 155.3 in 100 µl.AbstrakJamur termasuk organisme prostetik eukariotik yang bersifat kemohipertrofik. Dalam mempelajari sifat-sifat jamur diperlukan suatu bahan sebagai sumber nutrisi untuk menumbuhkan atau mengisolasi jamur yang dikenal dengan media. Media yang paling umum digunakan untuk kultur jamur adalah media PDA instan. Harga media PDA instan yang relatif mahal merupakan masalah yang umum. Untuk itu diperlukan media alternatif yang lebih ekonomis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah media tepung umbi gadung dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif pengganti PDA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dan desain yang digunakan, Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Konsentrasi tepung umbi gadung yang digunakan adalah 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% dan 25%. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan Annova dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa grading media alternatif tepung umbi berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan Candida albicans. Jamur dapat tumbuh pada media alternatif pada konsentrasi 5% sampai 25% dengan jumlah koloni tertinggi pada konsentrasi 25% yaitu 155,3 dalam 100 µl

    Abstract: Pengabaian atau kekurangan perhatian terhadap anak dapat memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap perkembanga otak anak usia dini. Penelitian telah menunjukan bahwa anak yang menerima perhatian yang cukup dari orang tua atau orang yang merawatnya dapat menunjukan perkembangan otak yang lebih optimal dibandikan dengan anak yang tidak mendapatkan perhatian yang cukup. Perhatian yang cukup merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam perkembangan otak anak usia dini, karena perhatian tersebut membantu menstimulus perkembangan otak anak. Saat anak menerima perhatian yang cukup, mereka akan terus belajar dan mengembangkan keterampilan baru, yang pada giliranya akan membantu memperkuat jaringan saraf di dalam otak mereka. Kekurangan perhatian terhadap anak dapat menyebabkan masalah pada perkembangan otak anak, seperti masalah pada konsentrasi,belajar, dan kemampuan adaptasi.anak yang tidak mendapatkan perhatian yang cukup juga lebih rentan terhadap masalah emosional da perilaku ,seperti depresi, kecemasan, dan agreivitas.oleh karena itu sangat penting bagi orangtua atau orang yang merawat anak untuk memberikan waktu yang cukup untuk bermaindan belajar bersamaanak, mendengarkan apa yang mereka katakan, dan memberikan dukungan emosional yang dibutuhkan.

    Abstract: Palembang City has many variants of typical or traditional food. Palembang specialties such as pempek, laksan, burgo, tekwan are ingredients of local processed products. However, at this time food processing is very complex, many of the manufacturers in food processing use technology, additives such as dyes or other substances. This composition makes it important for consumers to know about its halalness. This knowledge is important to know how the public responds to whether a product is halal or not. Currently, there are still many typical foods of Palembang City that do not have halal certification and labeling by LPPOM MUI. This study aims to determine the public's response to halal certification and labeling on Palembang typical food products, towards the vision of the city of Palembang Darussalam in realizing halal culinary tourism. The study, which was conducted from May-September 2020, used quantitative methods by collecting data using a questionnaire with 105 respondents. Then to see typical Palembang foods that are halal and Thayyib, a qualitative food test was carried out. The results of the research on the qualitative test of food were negative for borax and there were five samples containing formaldehyde. The public's response to knowledge of halal certification and labeling on Palembang specialties is directly proportional to the vision of the city of Palembang.

    Abstract: Keterampilan motorik halus sangat penting bagi kemampuan seseorang dalam melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari seperti menulis, makan, dan menggunakan peralatan kecil. Selain itu, kemampuan motorik halus juga merupaka indikator dari perkembangan kognitif dan emosional seseorang. Latihan dan pengembangan terus menerus dapat meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus seseorang.  Maka dari itu dengan memahami hal diatas maka kita perlu menstimulus atau memberikan pembelajaran bagi anak melalui bermain yang penuh makna, karena belajar pada anak usia dini adalah bermain dan bermain pada anak usia dini adalah belajar. Dengan model belajar ATIK (Amati, Tiru, Kerjakan) pilihan model ATIK dalam kegiatan membuat buket  menjadi Langkah strategis  untuk menstimulasi motorik halus  pada anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian Tindakan kelas (PTK), sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun, diperoleh dari hasil penelitian Tindakan Kelas di TK Diponegoro  sebanyak 15 anak , diperoleh setelah menerapkan model Atik untuk meningkatkan motorik halus dalam merangkai  buket, setelah melakukan Tindakan dari siklus 1 sampai pada siklus III, pada siklus I membahas materi tentang meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus pada kegiatan merangkai  buket di TK Dipinegoro Singaraja Buleleng Bali belum menampakkan hasil yang secara maksimal setelah dilaksanakan evaluasi. Pada perlakuan siklus II terjadi adanya peningkatan hasil dalam meningkatkan Motorik halus, dalam proses penelitian menggunakan model Atik terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan motoric halus pada kegiatan merangkai buket di TK Diponegoro Singaraja Buleleng Bali.

    Abstract: Paper generally uses wood as the main raw material, which is increasingly expensive, so it requires alternative raw materials such as rice husks. Banyasin Regency is a food producer and provides high by-products (rice husks), so the researchers aim to use rice husks into paper. The method used in this study includes display data (presentation of data) the results of the utilization of rice husks, and the conclusion (conclusion) of the resulting paper. The results obtained from the use of rice husk into paper in assisting the community of the Muara Telang District, Banyasin Regency, received positive responses from the community, which was indicated by the attitude of the residents in managing the husks into paper and the paper produced had characteristics, was bright brown in color, flexible, and had a husk motif. The paper obtained from this activity is suitable to be developed as a calligraphy and other craft materials.
