Abstract: The fundamental objective of this study is to comprehensively investigate the morpho-biological attributes and valuable economic traits of hybrid samples of golden black currant. These hybrid samples are the result of crossbreeding Russian and American varieties. Beyond this, the research endeavors to establish foundational insights that can be employed as primary references in the development of novel cultivars. These cultivars are envisioned to be both fecund and endowed with larger-sized fruits, an abundance of essential vitamins and minerals, as well as adaptability to local environmental conditions. Furthermore, their suitability for extended transportation distances is an essential consideration. In essence, the study aspires to unravel the potential of these hybrid golden black currant varieties, exploring their morphological and biological characteristics, economic viability, and their potential contribution to the nutritional landscape. By assessing their adaptability, nutritional richness, and commercial prospects, we lay the groundwork for the advancement of new cultivars that hold promise not only for local agricultural systems but also for broader markets where they can meet the demands of health-conscious consumers and environmentally sustainable production practices.

Abstract: In the agricultural landscape of Uzbekistan, an area of 15-18 thousand hectares is dedicated annually to the cultivation of sesame, serving as a supplementary source of income for many. The resulting sesame harvest is predominantly distributed within domestic markets, while a portion is earmarked for international export. The average sesame seed yield in Uzbekistan stands at 4-5 tons per hectare in rain-fed conditions and 8-14 tons per hectare in irrigated settings. In light of these circumstances, the core objective of this study is to ascertain the optimal timing, seeding rate, and cultivation technique for the production of premium-grade exportable sesame goods, uniquely tailored to the climatic conditions prevalent in the Khorezm province of Uzbekistan. By delving into these variables, researchers aim to uncover strategies that maximize the quality and quantity of sesame crops in Khorezm. Such insights hold the potential to not only enhance local production and export capabilities but also contribute to the agricultural economy of the region. By striving to identify the most effective practices, this study seeks to streamline the cultivation process, boost sesame yield, and elevate the overall agricultural landscape in the Khorezm province.

Abstract: In the Republic of Uzbekistan, experts in the field of vegetable cultivation are faced with the task of satisfying the population's need for vegetable products by not only growing their variety and number but also enhancing their quality. The fact that over 80% of the farmed space was occupied by just ten crops, however, highlights the lack of variety in vegetable production. This is mostly because early-ripening, high-yielding, and vitamin-rich vegetable types appropriate for local circumstances have not been sufficiently developed, and there is a need for more study into gardening methods. For three years 13 varieties and samples of kohlrabi cabbage collection were studied according to morphobiological and economic characteristics. In the course of research, 4 varieties were selected for early ripening, including VIR k-41 (France), Pikant, Nezhenka and Smak (Russia), 4 Giants for productivity, Delikatesnaya belaya, Smak and Violetta varieties were selected, and 4 samples of VIR K-41, Pikant, Smak and Fioletovaya varieties were selected according to their complex characteristics (earliness, productivity and marketability). In the future, these selected varieties and samples will serve as a primary source for the creation of early-early, fruitful, environmental stress-resistant varieties suitable for the climatic conditions of Uzbekistan.

Abstract: Based on a comprehensive study of 100 samples of safflower from the world gene pool for three years, the results of the selection of primary sources for different areas of selection (growth period, 1 plant yield, 1000 seed weight, oil content) are covered. Primary sources for different areas of selection have been identified on the basis of the study of the early maturity of seed samples, seed size, oil content in seeds, the study of the correlation between complex traits and the main economic traits. Correlation between major crop characteristics such as safflower vegetation period, main stem height, number of primary, secondary and lateral branches, total number of pods per plant, number of seeds per pod, plant yield, weight of 1000 seeds, oil content in seeds were studied. The highest correlation was found between the length of the main stem and the length to the first branch (r = 0.84) and the total number of baskets in one plant with the number of secondary side branches in it (r = 0.90).

Abstract: During the span of 2018 to 2021, a comprehensive investigation was conducted encompassing the morphobiological and economically significant attributes of 20 distinct samples of vegetable beans. These samples were meticulously gathered through collaborative expeditionary ventures spanning the landscapes of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. The interdisciplinary efforts of scientists hailing from the Scientific Research Institute of Plant Genetic Resources and the Rural Development Administration of the Republic of Korea (RDA) culminated in an in-depth analysis of these plant varieties. The outcome of this thorough exploration yielded noteworthy results, highlighting the identification and isolation of four early maturing and five high-yielding samples of vegetable beans. The amalgamation of expertise, fieldwork, and scientific scrutiny brought forth the delineation of these promising bean varieties with traits poised to contribute significantly to agricultural productivity and resilience across the studied regions. The collaborative nature of this endeavor underscores the significance of international cooperation in advancing agricultural innovation and enhancing the cultivation of vital crops.

Abstract: This article addresses a crucial concern regarding the limited availability of raw materials and the underutilization of alternative oilbearing plants, which hampers the establishment of a robust and competitive environment. This issue has significant implications for broadening the production spectrum of diverse oil products and fostering a sustainable, accessible supply of high-quality vegetable oils for the population. To address this imperative need for a comprehensive and affordable range of vegetable oils, the creation of novel oilseed varieties assumes paramount importance. Such varieties must possess a constellation of traits, including high oil content, remarkable yield potential, resilience against various environmental stressors, suitability for export markets, and the capability to sustainably support primary and variety seed production. The focal objective of this research initiative revolves around assembling a diverse collection of genetic resources from across the globe. Specifically, the study seeks to gather 170 world collections of sesame varieties, alongside 122 locally adapted Tashkentsky varieties that have been regionalized within Uzbekistan. By consolidating this vast array of genetic material, the research endeavors to unlock new avenues for enhancing oilseed crop productivity, bolstering quality parameters, and establishing a foundation for progressive agricultural practices. This strategic endeavor embodies a critical step towards transforming the landscape of oilseed cultivation and production in Uzbekistan, ultimately paving the way for an augmented supply of healthful vegetable oils, economic vitality, and food security for the nation’s populace.
