    Abstract: Since the last list of amphibians and reptiles of the Natuna Islands was published nearly 20 years ago, here we provide an updated species list of the herpetofauna of these remote Indonesian islands. We compiled and summarized data from the available literature, and from our own studies conducted in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2017, and 2019. In total, 120 species of amphibians and reptiles were recorded for the Natuna Islands, which included 28 new records and six endemics. Over the past eight years, four species new to science were described from these islands, and they are: Cnemaspis mumpuniae, Cnemaspis sundainsula, Cyrtodactylus hikidai, and Cyrtodactylus rosichonariefi.

    Abstract: There are two types banana such as banana for fresh purposes and cooking banana. Research on bananas mostly were done on table banana, since the value of cooking banana and plantain are consider as lower. In this study the intermediate product banana flour has been studied as affected by degree of ripening such as unripe, half ripe and fully ripe. The quality parameters analysed were proximate content, mineral content, amylose content, glycemic index, amylograph analysis for pasting, and scanning electron microscope. With the increased of ripening the granules was more sticked together, amylose content decreased, peak on the gelatinisation process decreased, calcium decreased, sodium increased, with no change in energy. Glycemic index of banana flour was decreased from unripe, half ripe, to fully ripe; 50.8±29.9, 39.4±27.5, 30.9±13.7 respectively. Thus, the flour from half ripe and fully ripe banana had different characteristics from unripe banana. The new type of flour are potential for preparing various produces for diabetic diet.

    Abstract: Climate change has become a controversial issue because people need to make massive lifestyle changes to mitigate global warming. Companies have started to shift their marketing strategies to increase product value and sales towards environmentally friendly strategies. Green advertising often uses. aim to raise the consumers awareness for eco-friendly products. Based on environmentally friendly products, this study focus on examining the level of consumer awareness towards eco-friendly products based on green advertising. The research is conducted among consumers who have never purchased eco-friendly products, but they have received green advertising. Data of 241 consumers are taken through questionnaires and analysed through SPSS to determine the correlation values and analysis. The finding stated that there are three factors used as samples of green impact, green message, and green theme, where the level of consumer acceptance is quite good. Furthermore, it is also known that the level of consumer awareness increases after receiving green advertising. Finding of this study is useful for industries to adopt an environmentally friendly strategy, whereby it can improve from consumer perspectives based on impact, message, and theme.

    Abstract: Climate change is changing weather patterns and catastrophic consequences throughout the world. To reduce the climate change issue, companies should be responsible for making sure their products does not harm to human beings and the planet. Companies are going green by introducing the environmental friendly product and promoting it through green advertising. However, companies should be able to understand consumer behavior to adapt to the environmental strategy. A study on factors of green advertising to adopt environmental strategy behaviorwas carried out among retail consumers. Indonesian retailers with environmental friendly products were selected, and 200 consumers have responded to the questionnaire. Results shows that factors of green advertising for environmental strategy behavior adaption consist of green impact, green message, green theme, green emotion, green experience, green interaction, and green claims. The three most dominant factors to increase green advertising value are green experience, green theme, and green message. This study provides the essential information for industries to engage in environmentally friendly products and to uphold environmental sustainability efforts.

    Abstract: This study delves into historical tourism information media in Jember from the public perspective. The study deploys descriptive quantitative approach. Research instrument operative in the study was questionnaire to garner data germane to public perspectives on historical tourism information media in Jember regency. The study was conducted by involving people who lived in Jember, with a total of 40 people. Data collected were put under analysis using SPSS, mainly with the aid of descriptive statistics. Based on the analysis and discussion, the historical tourism information media in Jember has provided satisfactory information. However, it also requires further improvement and development for improving the quality of information media. Information media can portray an outstanding branding image for Jember. The media can lend itself to showcasing Jember as a tobacco city and a Pandhalungan city. This is a huge potential for the development of historical tourism information.

    Abstract: Karang Jeruk is one of the destinations for coral reef ecosystems in Tegal Regency. This study aimed to determine the growth and growth rate of branched coral Acropora transplanted using the biorock® method in Karang Jeruk Waters, Tegal Regency. The method used in this research is the method of experimentation and observation. It is then analyzed through the t-Students test using SPSS version 16. Based on the research results, the absolute growth of Acropora coral at the biorock® station was more significant than the absolute growth at the control station, both for height and diameter or significantly difference. It can be seen that the absolute height growth at the biorock® station is 44.9750 ± 15.3901 mm, while at the control station, 2.1675 ± 0.6726 mm, and the absolute diameter growth at the biorock® station is 0.8350 ± 0.2177 mm while at the control station 0 .2025 ± 0.0835 mm. The growth rate of Acropora coral at the biorock® station was faster than the growth rate at the control station, both for height and diameter. It can be seen that the high growth rate at the biorock® station is 11.2438 ± 3.8475 mm month-1, while at the control station, 0.5419 ± 0.1682 mm month-1, and the diameter growth rate at the biorock® station is 0.2088 ± 0.0544 mm month-1 while at the control station 0.0506 ± 0.0209 mm month-1.

    Abstract: The tree monitors, Varanus (Hapturosaurus) are highly valued in international pet trade. These lizards are somewhat striking in their colouration, among which is the Blue tree monitor, Varanus macraei. Body colouration of this species is dominantly blue, which is unique to this monitor lizard species. This distinctive colouration together with its limited distribution has put the species as high-priced export commodity for at least 20 years. Because the lizard is endemic to Batanta Island and the nearby islets in the Raja Ampat Islands, Indonesia, we made a trip to the islands in 2019. We visited the village of Amdui on Batanta, where we made several casual interviews with hunters. Here we report results of our interviews and brief survey on the habitats of V. macraei, in order to identify the roles of local hunters in the trade of tree monitors for international pet markets. Some residents of Amdui have been in search for Blue tree monitors and other monitor lizard species since mid1990s and continue their hunt until very recently for fast cash. Because hunting is yet a large part of their culture more than farming, villagers rely on this method for subsistence. We recommend a socio-cultural approach to inform hunters on the idea of sustainability of harvest, for which a stable livelihood will be a possible consequence.

    Abstract: Keberhasilan manajemen hipertensi tergantung pada kepatuhan berobat. Meskipun karyawan dan pensiunan PTPN X (Persero) beserta keluarganya mendapat jaminan perawatan kesehatan seumur hidup yang dijamin oleh perusahaan namun tidak menjamin kepatuhan berobat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji efek konseling motivational interviewing terhadap kepatuhan minum obat penderita hipertensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan disain pretest – posttest control group. Kelompok uji mendapat perlakuan konseling motivational interviewing dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol yang mendapat leaflet cara hidup sehat dengan hipertensi. Penilaian kepatuhan minum obat menggunakan 8 item Morisky Medication Adherence Scale. Didapatkan 65 sampel dari 81 orang yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok. Kelompok uji berjumlah 33 orang dan kontrol 32 orang yang mendapatkan informasi dalam bentuk leaflet. Umur rata-rata subjek: 61,09 tahun dan terbanyak menderita hipertensi lebih dari lima tahun (56,9%). Hasil penilaian pra intervensi tidak didapatkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara dua kelompok. Hasil pasca intervesi terdapat perbedaan nilai MMAS-8 antara kedua kelompok tetapi profil tekanan darah tidak berbeda. Terdapat perbedaan kepatuhan maupun profil tekanan darah antara pra dan pasca intervensi pada kedua kelompok, kecuali tekanan diastole pada kelompok uji. Motivational interviewing memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap peningkatan kepatuhan minum obat penderita hipertensi dan meningkatkan jumlah pasien yang berhasil mencapai target tekanan darah. Kata Kunci: Hipertensi, kepatuhan, konseling, motivational interviewing
