    Description: We present a compilation of paleo-circulation proxies during the Holocene from Bermuda Rise core ODP Site 1063. The data set comprises high resolution 231Pa/230Th (including 231Pa,230Th, 232Th, and 238U concentrations accompanied by measurements of biogenic opal concentrations) and Neodymium isotopes, as well as some δ13C from C. wuellerstorfi.

    Description: The data comprise measurements of magnetic susceptibility and brightness (L*) for Site Me68-91 and Site Me68-89, water content data for Site Me68-89, and XRF elemental counting intensities for Site Me68-196. Furthermore, geochemical data were collected in the form of metal concentrations including rare earth elements (measured with ICP-QMS), carbonate contents, and neodymium isotope compositions (measured with MC-ICP-MS) in the authigenic sediment fraction extracted via weak sediment leaching and dissolution of picked foraminifera, and in the detrital sediment fraction. The data were interpreted in terms of sedimentology, rare earth element exchange between seawater and sediment, and past ocean circulation. Radiocarbon data (measured with MICADAS) from planktic foraminifera were measured for age model construction.

    Description: The data contain measurements of major and trace metal concentrations including rare earth elements (measured with ICP-QMS) as well as Nd isotopic compositions (measured with MC-ICP-MS) for different fractions extracted from core top and older North Atlantic marine sediments. The different fractions are sequential weakly acidic or weakly acid-reductive leaches of bulk sediment, full digestions of the residual sediment, and picked and physically cleaned foraminifera tests. The data were originally used for the assessment of the effectiveness of extracting an authigenic rare earth element signal.

    Description: This data set reports neodymium (Nd) isotopic signatures at IODP Site 303-U1304 at the southern Gardar Drift in the North Atlantic to investigate changes in the deep water mass provenance from 374.3 to 468.5 ka covering Marine Isotope Stages (MIS) 12 and 11. The samples were taken along the shipboard splice and the age model of Xuan et al. (2016, doi:10.1016/j.quascirev.2016.04.010) was applied. The authigenic Nd isotopes were extracted from the sediment by bulk sediment leaching following the protocol of Blaser et al. (2016, doi:10.1016/j.chemgeo.2016.06.024). The isotope ratios were measured on a MC-ICP-MS (Neptune plus) coupled to a desolvator (Apex HF) at the Institute of Environmental Physics, Heidelberg University, Germany and were corrected to 146Nd/144Nd = 0.7219.
