Abstract: The Museum of Innocence (2009) delves into love and everyday objects of love to explain the country's cultural emissions and political issues due to cultural contradiction with few characters in the novel. The novel is planned as a love story but is written in a decidedly unorthodox narrative style. The narrative is focused on the lovers' connection and revolves around Kemal's alterations due to his love for Fusun. He brings the supernatural close to the material, combining them most unexpectedly. Pamuk's construction of the actual museum in the memory of Fusun was discussed. Pamuk spoke about the memories of Fusun in Kemal's story narration with the portrayal of cultural indifference in Turkey. Further, this paper brings out the clash between fundamental traditional Islam and modern secularism by portraying the westernisation lifestyle of Istanbul's bourgeois society. The research paper concentrated on women's status and depicted the concept of virginity.

Abstract: Background and purpose: Hyperlordosis also known as swayback or hollow back is a condition involving an excessive c- shaped curve in the lower back or lumbar region, while lordosis refers to the natural inward curvature of the spine, hyperlordosis refers to the extreme curvature. Excessive curvature leads to pain, discomfort and numbness. The primary purpose of this experimental study was to determine the effect following the program of Egoscue corrective exercise as treatment for one group and lumbar stabilization exercise for another group in the management of lumbar hyperlordosis in asymptomatic individuals. AIM: The aim of the study was to compare the effectiveness of egoscue exercises and lumbar stabilization exercises in asymptomatic individuals with lumbar hyperlordosis. Methods: A sample of 30 patients within the age group 18-40 years with lumbar hyperlordosis were randomly divided into two groups, group A (n=15) and group B (n=15). PROCEDURE: The subjects in group A was treated with Egoscue exercises and group B was treated with Lumbar stabilization exercises. The subject improved was assessed by degree of lumbar lordosis scale and percentage of lumbar lordosis scale using index of lumbar lordosis. The pre and post test results were assessed. RESULT: The study concludes that there was statistically significant reduction of lumbar hyperlordosis in group A and group B in response to treatment. CONCLUSION: Based on the results, this study concluded that there was an improvement on lumbar hyperlordosis in both groups. Meanwhile, the effect of lumbar hyperlordosis is more effective in group A who received egoscue exercises than group B. Key words: Lumbar hyperlordosis, asymptomatic individuals, egoscue exercise, Lumbar stabilization exercises.

Abstract:   Objective: The objective of the study is to determine the effectiveness of cinnamon tea in reducing weight among late obese adolescent. Methods: Pre experimental research design was adopted to conduct the study with 30 samples who met the inclusion criteria. Cinnamon tea was given for the samples for 15 days and  theirweight and BMI was measured before as well as after the intervention. Data were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results:Out of 30 samples in pretest, 70% of them had overweight and 30% of them had class I obesity with the BMI mean value of 28.75 and2.72 standard deviation. In posttest 20% of them were normal weight, 66.67% of them were overweight and 13.33% of them were Class I obesity. The posttest BMI mean was 27.45 with 3.34 standard deviation. Paired t test revealed that Cinnamon tea was found to be effective in reducing weight at the level of *P 〈 0.05.Conclusion:the findings of the present study revealed that the prescribed cinnamon tea resulted in an improvement reduction of weight. However, we need further studies with larger samples to investigate the effect of cinnamon in reducing the different factors like weight, BMI, hip waist circumference level in obese adolescents. Keywords: Obesity, Childhood obesity, Adolescent, Cinnamon, BMI, Weight, Cinnamon tea

Abstract: Objective: The objective of the study was to analyse the target-ligand interactions between nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) and chelated Zinc compounds and to explore the anticancer drug potential of these ligands by a bio computational approach. Methods: Bioinformatics databases and tools were applied for the study. Three dimensional structure of the target NF-κB was retrieved from Protein Data Bank (PDB). The optimized structures of two chelated Zinc compounds, Zinc acetate and Zinc orotate were taken for docking studies with the target using docking tool AutoDock 4.2. Drug properties of the ligands were further assessed by Molinspiration server. Results: Docking results as predicted by AutoDock and as visualized by PyMol viewer were effective for both the ligands. Comparatively, Zinc orotate showed minimum energy and more interactions with the target. Both the ligands satisfied the Lipinski’s rule of five with zero violations. Conclusion: The findings emphasized the promising role of chelated Zinc compounds as potent drug candidates in anti-cancer drug design against NF-κB.

Abstract: The titanium nanotube array is termed as titanium nanotubes anode (TNTA). Initially, four samples of TNTA were synthesized using electrochemical anodization method. The titanium nanotube arrays (TNAs) were fixed as anode for dye-sensitized solar cell application. The execution of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) is found on natural dyes removed out from natural materials. Then, pomegranate dye was exclusively prepared and coated on TNTA samples. These are very affordable and inexpensive and are abundantly available in India. The dye coated TNTAs were distinguished using UV-viewable spectrophotometer and SEM test for their spectral effects. The natural dye showed a wide-ranging absorption performance peak between 300 and 574 nm for the second sample and 300–572 nm for third sample. Their solar absorption property was studied.

Abstract: Thirst and dry mouth are frequent immediate post-operative discomfort due to prolonged fasting, medications and surgical conditions. Surgical patients are at a high-hazard group for the improvement of thirst due to prolonged fasting, use of anticholinergic and opioid medications, bleeding, among others. Thirst is an exceptional and awkward sensation, which can't be overlooked when water deprivation compromises endurance. It is one of the fundamental inconveniences in the prompt postoperative period or the post-anaesthesia recovery. Menthol and ice have greater efficacy to relieve the thirst. Hence the study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of menthol ice cube application on thirst intensity and oral condition among post-operative patients. The pre-experimental research design was adopted to conduct the study with 30 samples who met inclusion criteria were selected by using a convenience sampling technique. Pre-test assessment was done by thirst intensity scale and oral condition assessment tool. Menthol ice cube was administered to the study group. The post-test assessment was observed after one hour and two hours of administration of the menthol ice cube application. There was a statistical significant change in thirst intensity and oral conditions between pre and post intervention within the study group and the level of thirst intensity were statistically associated with age group at the level of P 〈 0.05. The findings of the study concluded that menthol ice cube application is effective in relieving thirst intensity and improve the oral conditions among patients underwent abdominal surgery. It is also a safe, harmless, cost effective, and feasible is feasible to administer.
