Abstract: This paper discusses a study of the influence of different positions and modes of smartphone navigation devices on driving behavior based on real vehicle driving. Twenty professional drivers participated in the experiment in free-flowing traffic and good weather conditions. The eye movement and vehicle control data obtained in the experiment were used as indicators for evaluation. Comparison of the mean, variance, and significance analysis shows that a smartphone navigation device placed on the right side of the car dashboard (position 1) has less impact on driving behavior than when placed above the air conditioning vent (position 2). A smaller angle of view can increase the fixation frequency and the length of time that the driver spends looking out the windshield and reduce the range and time spent in glancing at the navigation device. Using only sound navigation (the audio group in this paper) has the least influence on driving behavior because the driver’s visual attention is not transferred inside the vehicle rather than on the road ahead, and the vehicle is operated in the most stable state. These findings have practical significance for reducing the negative influence of smartphone navigation.

Abstract: Tree parameter measurement is an important part of forest resource monitoring. Smartphones play an important role in forest resource surveys. Although sensors inside smartphones, such as gyroscopes and angle sensors, can meet the needs of the public for entertainment or games, the measurement accuracy in professional forest resource monitoring is slightly insufficient. In this paper, a method of collecting tree measurement factors based on personal smart space fusion with a variety of high-precision sensors is proposed. First of all, a high-precision attitude sensor measurement module and a laser ranging module are organically integrated and packaged in a black box. The smartphone is then connected to the sensor box using a magnet sheet, and the working personnel can determine key parameters in the forest stand by holding it. Finally, in order to verify the accuracy of the method, the measured values in this paper are compared with the reference values. The root mean square error (RMSE) of the tree position in the X and Y directions was 0.114 m and 0.147 m, the relative deviations (rBias) were 0.95% and 0.39%, and the average RMSE was 0.186 m. The RMSEs measured by tree height and diameter at breast height (DBH) were 0.98 m and 2.24 cm, the relative root mean square error (rRMSE) was 5.87% and 13.46%, and the relative deviations (rBias) were −1.40% and −1.06%, respectively. Therefore, the method of forest stand parameter measurement based on personal smart space fusion multitype sensors proposed in this paper can be effectively applied to forest resource data collection.

Abstract: In the field of computer vision research, generative adversarial networks (GAN) are used for general object recognition. In recent years, however, GAN have learned only from image data without using label information. In recent years, however, unsupervised learning, which learns GAN only from image data without using label information, where GAN are learned from image data alone without using label information, has been introduced. In this paper, we describe research on unsupervised learning of GAN since the introduction of transformer, reviewing trends in computer vision/artificial intelligence-related research since the introduction of transformer from a visual neuroscience perspective.

Abstract: In the geological survey, the recognition and classification of rock lithology are an important content. The recognition method based on rock thin section leads to long recognition period and high recognition cost, and the recognition accuracy cannot be guaranteed. Moreover, the above method cannot provide an effective solution in the field. As a communication device with multiple sensors, smartphones are carried by most geological survey workers. In this paper, a smartphone application based on the convolutional neural network is developed. In this application, the phone’s camera can be used to take photos of rocks. And the types and lithology of rocks can be quickly and accurately identified in a very short time. This paper proposed a method for quickly and accurately recognizing rock lithology in the field. Based on ShuffleNet, a lightweight convolutional neural network used in deep learning, combined with the transfer learning method, the recognition model of the rock image was established. The trained model was then deployed to the smartphone. A smartphone application for identifying rock lithology was designed and developed to verify its usability and accuracy. The research results showed that the accuracy of the recognition model in this paper was 97.65% on the verification data set of the PC. The accuracy of recognition on the test data set of the smartphone was 95.30%, among which the average recognition time of the single sheet was 786 milliseconds, the maximum value was 1,045 milliseconds, and the minimum value was 452 milliseconds. And the single-image accuracy above 96% accounted for 95% of the test data set. This paper presented a new solution for the rapid and accurate recognition of rock lithology in field geological surveys, which met the needs of geological survey personnel to quickly and accurately identify rock lithology in field operations.

Abstract: To improve patients' welfare, governments can regulate the availability of the low‐price drugs (LPDs) through lower wholesale purchasing or retail selling of the LPD. This paper characterizes two common constrained policies from the practices of pharmaceutical markets. The first (policy P) controls the ratios of the LPD's purchasing quantity and fee. The second (policy S) controls the ratios of the LPD's selling quantity and revenue. Considering a pharmaceutical supply chain consisting of two independent manufacturers and a hospital, we investigate the impacts of two policies on the LPD's availability and the whole industry gains. Our results show that policy P dominates policy S in two aspects: (a) policy P provides a higher product availability of the LPD and (b) policy P reduces less profits for the pharmaceutical supply chain. Specifically, policy P could incur a win‐win outcome for the patient and the supply chain. We further show that the demand allocation of the LPD, the substitution degree, and the profit margins' difference can significantly affect the performances of the policies.

Abstract: Modular integrated construction (MiC) becomes a promising solution to improve production efficiency in the construction industry. However, the off‐site production and on‐site installation processes of MiC pose challenges to collaboration efficiency among the multiple stakeholders involved, including subcontractors, contractors, and consumers. These challenges stem from information dispersion, which impedes effective collaboration and communication. Such problems can be solved by introducing a blockchain‐based cyber‐physical service platform, which can facilitate information sharing and collaboration across the supply chain. In this paper, we study the impacts of MiC and blockchain technology on construction supply chains and reveal several important insights. First, we find that there exists a first‐mover advantage in the traditional construction supply chain, where subcontractors engage in a sequential game, and the subcontractor who produces first obtains more profit than the counterparts. Moreover, the contractor's ability to increase profits by reducing the unit cost of construction time is limited, but it can improve the effectiveness of the time gap due to early delivery. Second, we show that MiC should not be introduced if it significantly reduces collaboration efficiency in the supply chain. Interestingly, increasing the unit cost of construction for subcontractors can actually result in greater profits for all members of the supply chain. Regarding adopting blockchain technology, our findings suggest that supply chain members generally hold similar attitudes. Specifically, when the value of blockchain in improving collaboration efficiency is below a certain threshold, its adoption may not be beneficial, despite its potential to enable rapid production and early delivery.
