Abstract:
The current study is the first study to use behavioral and electrophysiological measures to quantify the unique contribution of motor ability to visuospatial working memory in school‐age children. Our results complement previous evidence and identifying childhood motor ability as a unique behavioral correlate of visuospatial working memory has implications for informing exercise‐based intervention to incorporate activities that challenges motor skills.
