Zusammenfassung Anhand von 3 Todesfällen, bei denen Ösophagusperforationen den Tod ursächlich mitbestimmten, werden pathologisch-anatomische Befunde, Symptomatik und Komplikationen demonstriert. Im 1. Fall handelt es sich um eine Druckarrosion bei Sondenernährung, beim 2. Fall um eine Schnittverletzung durch eine Rasierklinge und beim 3. Fall um einen Durchschuß des Ösophagus.

Summary Symptoms, complications, and pathoanatomic findings of three cases, in which the esophageal perforation originally caused the death, are demonstrated. The first case deals with an impulse-arrosion as a result of gavage, the second an incised wound by a razor blade, and the third a through-and-through gunshot wound of the upper part of the esophagus.
