Ozonisation of Chlorinated Bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-ene DerivativesThe chlorinated bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-ene derivatives 1a - c, 4, 10a, b, 15, and 19 were treated with ozone in carbon tetrachloride solution. While the compounds 1a-c give exo-epoxides and ketones, 10a, b, and 19 yield the corresponding products of C = C splitting. From 4 and 15 small amounts of endo-epoxides are formed in addition to the products of regular ozonolysis. The steric effects that control the reactions of the chlorinated double bond of the bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-ene derivatives are discussed.

Die chlorierten Bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-en-Derivate 1a - c, 4, 10a, b, 15 und 19 wurden in Tetrachlormethan mit Ozon behandelt. Während die Verbindungen 1a - c zu exo-Epoxiden und Ketonen reagieren, entstehen aus 10a, b und 19 die entsprechenden C = C-Spaltprodukte. Bei 4 und 15 werden neben normalen Ozonolyseprodukten in kleinen Mengen endo-Epoxide gebildet. Die sterischen Effekte, die die Reaktion der chlorierten Doppelbindung des Bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-en-Grundkörpers bestimmen, werden diskutiert.
