Description: Passive acoustic monitoring (PAM) data were collected by recorder SV1088 of type Sono.Vault (manufactured by develogic GmbH, Hamburg, Germany) at 78.9997° N, 6.9997° E, mooring F4-19, in Fram Strait. During a deployment period from August 2019 to June 2021, passive acoustic data were collected from September 2019 to December 2020 (recording period) by SV1088 as part of the Frontiers in Arctic Marine Monitoring (FRAM) observatory in Fram Strait. The recorder was moored at 805 m depth and scheduled to record at a duty cycle of 10 min per 20 min at a sample rate of 48,000 Hz. Further details about the data acquisition and processing of this data set can be found in the accompanying metadata file (see Additional metadata) as well as the data processing report (see Data Processing Report). Passive acoustic data archived here represent data processing Level 1+, according to the standards defined in the associated Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) Glossary (Thomisch et al. 2023a). Further information on data processing with regard to data preparation and standardization can be found in the associated SOP Part 1: Data preparation and standardization (Thomisch et al. 2023b).

Description: Passive acoustic monitoring (PAM) data were collected by recorder SV1049 of type Sono.Vault (manufactured by develogic GmbH, Hamburg, Germany) at 74.9825° S, 102.0224° W, mooring HAMOOR-01, in the Southern Ocean. During a short-term deployment period in February 2017, passive acoustic data were collected during 6 days in February 2017 (recording period) by SV1049. The recorder was moored at 210 m depth and scheduled to record continuously at a sample rate of 16,000 Hz. 2023a).
