Abstract: In order to standardize public resource trading activities and improve the operating efficiency of public resource trading platforms, this paper conducts research on the performance of public resource trading platforms. A three-level and 28-dimension performance evaluation index system for public resource trading platform is established by considering the four levels of “input-process-output-effect.” Besides, entropy weight method, gray clustering, and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation are integrated on this basis. Entropy weight method is used to determine the index weight, and the degree value of membership for indexes on gray class is determined based on gray clustering method and converted into a matrix. Then, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to determine the evaluation value and finally carry out the platform performance evaluation, which provides theoretical support for academic researchers to conduct follow-up research on the performance evaluation of public resource trading platforms.

Abstract: The permutation flow shop problems with truncated exponential sum of logarithm processing times based and position‐based learning effects are considered in this study. The objective is to minimize makespan and total weighted completion time, respectively. Several heuristics and a branch‐and‐bound algorithm are proposed in this paper. The tight worst‐case bounds of some simple heuristics are also given. Numerical experiments are tested to evaluate the performance of the heuristics and branch‐and‐bound algorithm.

Abstract: The performance of an organization depends on the model and methodology adopted by the organization in carrying out casual activities. The high-performance model, which is widely recognized internationally, is an effective method and tool for the comprehensive performance management of organizations. It is used to measure how much value each employee brings to a firm in terms of improved revenue, as well as overall employee return on investment when compared to industry norms. The overall goal of the performance review process is to improve a team’s or organization’s performance in order to boost customer satisfaction. However, there are many problems with the current performance evaluation methods. For instance, the currently adopted approaches are fully reliant on the assessment team’s human scoring and lack the processing and detection of scoring results, which significantly reduce the objectivity of the evaluation outcomes. In order to sort out this issue, this paper constructs an excellent performance evaluation assessment method based on set-valued statistics, which obtains the final comprehensive score value by performing set-valued statistical processing on the scores of each evaluator and detects the evaluation results by calculating the confidence level. Hereby, the case analysis is conducted and Excel modeling to assist quantitative evaluation work is adopted. The analysis results reveal that the proposed technique is better than the earlier approaches.

Abstract: The emerging business models have impelled firms’ competition in a brand-new and fast-growing market. This study examines such a competition for market share through advertising and loyalty reward programs. Two stages can be distinguished based on the transformation of the competition strategies. These stages can be formulated as a dynamic differential game model and a static Hotelling game model. The operation strategies and performances of two firms are determined and compared via analytical studies and case analyses toward a bicycle-sharing program, i.e. , Ofo versus Mobike. Historical data are used to fit the curve of the market size and to estimate the parameter values of these models. The results show that during the first stage, the difference in market share between these firms gradually decreases (increases) when the advertising response constant is low (high). Meanwhile, in the second stage, these firms offer converse reward strategies.

Abstract: Motivated by the newest contract offered by Amazon.com, called the Advantage Program, we study a supply chain where a retailer offers a vendor‐managed inventory with consignment contract to n suppliers for selling their products. A key parameter in the contract is the product list price that the retailer allows each supplier to choose for its own product. The retailer then sets the retail price of each product at or below its list price for selling it to the market and remits its supplier an amount equal to a prespecified percentage of its list price on each unit sold. Two alternative consignment contracts are also considered with only one deviation where the retailer chooses the retail price of each product freely, or the retailer sets the retail price of each product at or above its list price. We show that the supplier’s list price plays a major role in determining firms’ decisions and performance in equilibrium. In particular, we find that by committing the retail price of each product to not exceeding the list price set by its supplier, the retailer can improve its own performance and the channel performance without hurting each supplier.
