Abstract:
We investigate the Hawking black body spectrum of the rotating charged Gödel black hole in five-dimensional minimal supergravity theory by using the tunneling mechanism. For this purpose, we consider both the scalar particles and fermions tunneling. Firstly, using the dimensional reduction techniques, we find that, near the horizon, both the scalar field and the fermionic field in the background of the rotating charged Gödel black hole can be treated as an infinite collection of quantum fields in two-dimensional background coupled with the dilaton field and the U(1) gauge field. Then, applying WKB approximation to the field equations of scalar field and fermionic field in the reduced two-dimensional background metric, we obtain the Hawking radiation spectrum of the Gödel black hole. It is shown that the radiation spectrum is consistent with a perfect black body spectrum in the Hawking temperature of the Gödel black hole.
