The preparation, characterization and processing of fibrids of aromatic polyamides are reviewed. They are mainly applied for preparation of electric isolation paper having high permanent heat stability.

Über die Herstellung, Charakterisierung und Verarbeitung von Fibriden aus aromatischen Polyamiden wird berichtet. Das Haupteinsatzgebiet für diese Fibride ist die Herstellung von Elektroisolierpapieren mit hoher Dauerwärmebeständigkeit.
