Abstract: The liquefied natural gas (LNG) is a product of condensation of natural gas in very low temperature and stored at ambient pressure in the cryogenic tanks. For using, the LNG is re-gasified and supplied to power and chemical plants as fuel and material. Recently, the demand of using LNG has increased significantly because it is abundant, low price and CO2 emission. Therefore, the LNG plays an important role in the global energy system as an input to power generation, heating and material in industry. Many projects of LNG receiving terminal are being constructed in Vietnam and operated in the next few years. However, during storage in the cryogenic tank, a considerable amount of LNG evaporates by solar absorption and generates boil–off gas (BOG) which causes of loss increasing and unsafety. As a result, the BOG generation problem is highlighted for operation optimization in the future. In this study, a retrofit BOG re–condensation process was proposed based on the existing plant at LNG Dapeng receiving terminal, China. The previous study evaluated the process only on energy analysis, hence the irreversibility was not realized. As a result, the total lost, 1130.9 (kW), in term of exergy loss is really high. Therefore, the exergy analysis method was considered to optimize the operating parameters of the process. The results indicated that the exergy loss was decreased by 2.6 times compares to the previous process, it reduces to only 434.9 (kW). In addition, BOG was completely condensed and optimum operating pressure of the condenser is determined in the range of 8–9 bars. Thus, the results give the engineers more options to select the optimum conditions for reduction of energy consumption and environment savings.

Abstract: Objective: Determine the prevalence of gestational diabetes and related factors of pregnant women having prenatal care at Tu Du hospital in 2020. Materials and Methods: Cross-sectional study on 250 singleton pregnant women with gestational age from 24 to 28 weeks who had prenatal care at Tu Du hospital in 2020. All pregnant women were tested for oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) using the 2015 American Diabetes Association (ADA) criteria for diagnosis of gestational diabetes. Based on the structured questionnaire, we interviewed pregnant women about socioeconomic characteristics, diet and obstetrical history and got information for health status and OGTT in prenatal care records. Results: The prevalence of gestational diabetes of pregnant women who came to Tu Du hospital for prenatal care in 2020 was 32%, 95% CI [26.3-38.2]. The related factors to gestational diabetes with statistical significance are: (1) BMI before pregnancy R=1.18, 95% CI [1.07- 1.31] , p=0.001 (2) past history number of gestational diabetes R= 5.23, 95% CI [1.56-17.54], p= 0.005, (3) eating yogurt 〉 5 days/week, 〉 1 box/ day R=1.14, 95% CI [1.01-1.28], p=0.038. Conclusions: Prevalence of gestational diabetes is 32%, which is a matter of great concern at the moment. There should be recommendations on a reasonable diet and closely monitored during pregnancy with particular emphasis on high risk pregnancy for pregnant women to reduce the risk of gestational diabetes.

Abstract: Researched the strength, deformation, sudden settlement by water of the surface soil layer. Discussed about the ground base on a structure model. Applied for planning, calculating design and foundation in the Vietnam National University - Hochiminh City at Thu Duc district. Carried out to test the basic geotechnical properties and the special tests such as in situ compression and oedometer tests with unsaturation and saturation; monitored deformation, and changes of cohesion, C (kgf/cm2), friction angl , φ (d gr ) in various conditions ith the time. Analysed the structure of soil under the microscope. Built the ground structure model base on the surveied data.
