Abstract: The powertrain model of a vehicle using a small gasoline engine is designed based on the analysis results of the Matlab/Simdriveline simulation model. In which, the vehicle's powertrain model parts include: engine, clutch, gearbox, differential and wheels, and overall vehicle modeled by Matlab/ Simdriveline. Mathematical basis of the corresponding models for systems or components are used to build simulated models for the entire vehicle's powertrain system. The input parameters for the simulation problem include parameters of the size, mass, structural and technical parameters of each system such as transmission ratio, power, velocity, efficiency, determined based on actual vehicle model and empirical calculations. The simulation calculation process is done on the basis of the variation of the engine power, from which, the corresponding input and output kinetic and dynamic parameters of each system in the powertrain system consists of clutch, gearbox, differential, are obtained in the time domain. The results of simulation calculation of the kinematics and dynamics of each system in the vehicle's powertrain are analyzed as a basis for design improvement to improve the dynamic performance of the vehicle model.

Abstract: In the field of agriculture, the conservation of the agricultural products plays a vital role. The challenge in this topic is to manage a large scale of storehouse by manual works. Therefore, an implementation of IoT-based controller for monitoring in preserving fruits such as dragon fruit or jackfruit as a remotely monitored solution. First of all, the analysis of hardware platform and software programming is completed in this work. Several peripheral devices must be deployed in order to send or receive data online. Some sensing boards are also suggested to measure the physical variables such as temperature or humidity. In addition, the overall system is supervised in any time to ensure the whole process. After the procedure of data collection, there is optional filtering method to choose the correct information owing to the large scale of measuring values. Later, a GUI (Graphical User Interface) program is produced to support the system management. Any change in this system would be displayed as soon as possible. This software might be programmed by Visual Studio 2019 using C/C++ language. An operator could open this software in the host computer or mobile device with internet connection. MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) protocol is suggested to maintain the data exchange between slaves and host. Thanks to this function, the flow of data could be transmitted fluently and continuously. To verify the effectiveness and feasibility of our approach, several tests are carried out. The system is validated when the environmental conditions are normally obtained. Although there needs several implementations to enhance the system performance, the use of the proposed design in practical system provides the robustness, effectiveness and feasibility for an industrial solution.

Abstract: Introduction: Localized high concentration electrolytes (LHCE) have been intensively studied due to their unique properties, especially in suppressing the Na dendrite formation and long-term cycling. Therefore, the low electrochemical performance of the P2-type cathode can be overcome by using LHCE. Methods: P2-type sodium layered oxides Na2=3Mn2=3M1=3O2 (M = Fe, Co, Ni) cathode materials were synthesized via a simple co-precipitation following a supported solid-state reaction. XRD and Rietveld method analyzed the phase composition and lattice parameters. SEM images observed the morphology of materials. The half-cell of three cathode were performed in LHCE consisting of 2.1 M sodium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide (NaFSI) dissolved in 1,2-dimethoxyethane (DME) and bis(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl) ether (BTFE) (solvent molar ratio 1:2). The galvanostatic charge-discharge, striping-plating, and linear sweep voltage tests were carried out to investigate the electrochemical behaviors. Results: As-prepared electrode materials exhibited discharge capacities of 94.5, 147.1, and 142.9 mAh/g at C/10 in the potential range of 1.5-4.2 V for Na2=3Mn2=3Fe1=3O2 (MFO), Na2=3Mn2=3Co1=3O2 (MCO) and Na2=3Mn2=3Ni1=3O2 (MNO), respectively. Interestingly, the MNO cathode material has a superior cycling performance with 86.5% capacity retention after 100 cycles than MCO and MFO. Conclusion: Such superior electrochemical performance of synthesized MNO could be ascribed to the combined synergistic effects between the nickel partially substituted MNO cathode structure and using LHCE 2.1 M NaFSI/DME-BTFE (1:2). Nickel substituted MNO cathode exhibited the enhancement of discharge capacity and the long cycling stability in LHCE due to the mitigation of dendrite formation on sodium metal anode.

Abstract: The study has proposed an integrated zero-emission farming model based on livestock production. The model applies ecological solutions, revolving solutions, and closures of energy flows along with utilizing the local environmental conditions available to help maintain livelihoods for the people. Typical models for Mr. Nguyen Van Hai households in Trung An hamlet, Le Tri commune, Tri Ton district, An Giang province. The results show that 3.18 m3/day of livestock and domestic waste water is treated and reused for agriculture, 39,065.31 tons of CO2tđ/year is collected in the form of biogas for cooking, models help to maintain existing livelihoods, creating a number of new livelihoods to increase income of VND 64,400,000/year, ensuring environmental protection requirements, reducing existing livelihood dependence on external actors such as price, food, human resources, etc. This can be considered as the best model for cow farmers; can overcome the disadvantages of previous local livelihood models; Both in terms of long-term applicability, as well as the development of a large number of households, there is an increase in the ability to connect among households in order to create mutual support in the case of a residential area with the same main livelihood as livestock cow.

Abstract: In this report, we present the development of an environmental radiation monitoring system. The system includes Inspector+ dose meter, FPGA board, and LabVIEW interface. In the electronic board using FPGA, the embedded VHDL program is developed for FPGA board. Its functions are to accumulate pulse signals from the Inspector+, transmit data to the computer. Computer interface is written on LabVIEW platform. Its functions are to receive data from FPGA board, plot data, store data, as well as control the FPGA board. We evaluate the response of the system by using a standard pulse generator. With this system, we carry out the measurement of environmental background radiation in two experimental rooms and outside at Nuclear physics Department, University of Science, VNU-HCMC.
