Abstract: The composite zirconium silicate microbeads with different pretreating process were developed in this paper. The wear loss of these microbeads was compared by testing of agitation mill. These microstructures with different micro-pores were compared by scanning electron microscopy. The pore size was found have obvious influences on the mechanism of the wear. Some solutions were proposed to overcome the micro-pores in the zirconium silicate composite microbeads.

Abstract: The thermoplastic processing and mechanical properties of starch and polycaprolactone (PCL) composites reinforced by nano-silica (nano-SiO 2 ) were studied. The results showed that the mechanical properties of the starch/PCL blends improved significantly with the increase of PCL. After the addition of nano-SiO 2 , the mechanical properties of the starch/PCL blends further improved. When the weight percent of nano-SiO 2 was 1.8%, the mechanical properties of the SiO 2 /TPS/PCL composite were most excellent. By comparison with the starch/PCL (50/50) blends, the tensile strength of the SiO 2 /TPS/PCL composite with 1.8% SiO 2 was increased by 20% and the elongation increased by 33%. Moreover, it was confirmed by rheological measurements that nano-SiO 2 could interact with the composite materials, which results in the improvement of the mechanical strength of the TPS/PCL composites.

Abstract: this paper uses a new type of FRI (Finite Rate of Innovation) sampling pattern based Sub-Nyquist sampling model breaked through Shannon theorem that it can get accurate signal reconstruction based on signal information rate, which requires the sampling frequency lower than two times the max signal frequency. We apply the new model in the ultrasonic phased array industrial imaging. In the experiment, ultrasonic phased array realized dynamic focusing and the high speed scan by ultrasonic array transducer of various array time delays to get flexible controllable synthesis beam composed signals that received by 32 phased array elements . The results indicate that in the model it greatly reduces the signal sampling frequency and improves the signal-to-noise ratio, frequency resolution at the same of the beam focusing and steering flexible.

Abstract: this study presents an eight array ultrasonic signal phased array sparse sampling experiment system based ultrasonic phased array technology and Compressed Sensing (CS). Proposed system considers recovery ultrasonic beam signal received eight phased array elements with sparse samples captured using sub-Nyquist model in CS recovery algorithm. We have the block defect detection test in the system. The test result approximated the actual block defect position. Based on block defect detection test, We compared sparse sampling value using spectrum estimation to Compressed Sensing recovery algorithm imaging, and no focus and focus detection effect, proved the phased array experiment system based on Compressed Sensing .it can greatly improve the detection signal to noise ratio (SNR) and sensitivity. So we verify the phased array focus can improve the detection ability.

Abstract: The differences between the urinary crystallites from patients with renal calculi and healthy subjects were compared using SEM, XRD, and nano-particle size analyzer, etc. These differences concern morphology, aggregation state, number, particle size, crystal phase and Zeta potential, etc. About 90% of the crystallites had the particle sizes less than 20 μm, the Zeta potential was -(113) mV, and the composition included a large proportion of calcium oxalate dihydrate (COD) crystals. By comparison, the urinary crystallites from patients with renal calculi had sharp edges and corners and exhibited significant aggregation. There were more crystallites with the size greater than 20 μm in comparison with those in healthy subjects, their Zeta potential was -(73) mV, and calcium oxalate existed mainly in the form of calcium oxalate monohydrate (COM) crystals. The above differences increased the aggregation trend of the crystallites in lithogenic urine and caused the probability of renal calculi formation to increase.

Abstract: An embedded positioning system, which can be applied to seismic exploration, is designed. Meeting the characteristics of field work and the instantaneity of data transmission, the system is composed by the positioning terminals and supplemented by earthquake decision-making experts and monitoring center. With the style of mobile phone message and monitoring center, the real-time transmission and query of positioning data are mobile.

Abstract: With the technical progress in the fields of imaging and printing device, multilevel imaging and screening technologies are applied increasingly. The application of these technologies in printing field, which is as an information channel, can expand capability of information transfer. In order to obtain the characteristics of information transfer in image reproduction, in which multilevel screening technology is applied, the relationship among optical density, dot area and dot density is constructed. According to the basic definitions of information content and of information entropy, the relationship between information content/entropy and gray levels of screening dot is analyzed. Furthermore, multilevel FM screening images, which are with 4 levels, 8 levels and 16 levels and generated by a program, are analyzed and compared with bi-level screened images. The results show, that under lower imaging resolution, multilevel screening can achieve higher count of tone levels and information entropy. It is significant for the improvement of the capability of information transfer and reproduction quality of image.

Abstract: In this paper, an organic/inorganic molybdenum series Cr-free coating was formed on galvanized steel by simple immersion and its corrosion behavior was compared to that of a typical chromate coating. Molybdate and 1-Hydroxy-ethylidene-1, 1-diphosphonic acid (HEDP) were used as corrosion inhibitor, as well as acrylic resin and silane were used as film-former and coupling agents, respectively. The corrosion behavior of the coatings was evaluated by Neutral salt spray (NSS), Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and Tafel polarization. The surface topography of the samples was observed by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The results indicated that the corroded area of the Mo-HEDP treatment was only corroded 2% after 72 h spraying, while the corrosion behaviour of Mo-HEDP was closed to that of Cr pretreatment due to the synergistic reaction of molybdate and HEDP. Compared with the film of Cr treatment, Mo-HEDP passivating coating was more environmentally friendly.

Abstract: The presence of crystallites in urine is closely related to stones formation. In this article, the components, morphology of nano- and micro-crystallites in urines of 20 uric acid (UA) stone formers as well as their relationship with the formation of UAstones were comparatively studied using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The main constituent of urinary crystallites was uric acid. Their particle size distribution was highly uneven, ranging from several nanometers to several tens of micrometers, and obvious aggregation was observed. These results showed that there was close relationship among stone components, urinary crystallites composition and urine pH.

Abstract: Trimethylchlorosilane as a modifier and tetraethoxysilane, an acid catalyst, as raw material were modified hydrophobically through the copolymerization, surface derivative, and hierarchical hydrophobic modification methods. The modified material was prepared as hydrophobic SiO 2 aerogels by constant pressure drying. Finally, thermal stability, pore structure, and chemical composition of SiO 2 aerogels were analyzed using TG-DSC, FTIR, and BET. The results show that the hydrophobic property of SiO 2 aerogels prepared using hierarchical hydrophobic modification and surface derivative methods have excelled characteristics, such as super-hydrophobicity. The aerogels prepared through the two different methods have a mesopore structure with mesopores of 2–70 nm; however, they have no micropore structure.
