Abstract: Based on massive concrete block in practical engineering, the effect of new pouring precooling concrete on lower layer concrete in different seasons was simulated by using three-dimensional finite element simulation program of non-steady temperature field, and the temperature changes near the surface of lower layer concrete have been analyzed detailedly. It is indicated that, there is obvious “cold strike” effect of new pouring precooling concrete on lower layer concrete in summer, the effect in autumn followed by, and there is also the effect in spring but not obvious. In winter, as ambient air temperature is very low, there is not “cold strike” effect and the lower layer concrete temperature gradually recovery after pouring new concrete. Because actual concrete pouring deck surface maintenance is often not in place, the surface temperature of the pouring deck, which is greatly influenced by ambient air temperature and solar radiation, is very high in high temperature seasons. At the moment, the “cold strike” effect of new pouring precooling concrete on lower layer concrete is very obvious and likely to lead to the crack of the concrete. Hence, it is suggested that, after finish pouring of concrete and final set of concrete, sprinkling water or flowing water maintenance should be carried out in high temperature seasons, such as summer and autumn; before pouring the concrete, it is better to take measures, like spray and sprinkling water, to reduce the surface temperature of lower layer concrete, and try to avoid starting pouring concrete at midday.

Abstract: Optimizing control of concrete dam in middle-later cooling age is discussed in allusion to the complex multi-factor problems which includes pipe cooling temperature, pipe cooling flow and pipe cooling time. This paper suggested an optimizing control method of concrete dam in middle-later cooling age based on the temperature dynamic prediction model of pouring storehouse. Combining the current measured temperature, it calculated the temperature cooling curve based on the pipe cooling calculation formula without heat resource. Then optimal pipe cooling measures of concrete pouring storehouse is obtained by optimization algorithm with middle-later coolings target temperature. Because of the small amount of calculation of the temperature dynamic prediction model that based on the pipe cooling calculation formula without heat resource, so optimizing control model of concrete dam in middle-later cooling age is feasible.

Abstract: Wind erosion may appear because of the construction of embankment in a non-wind-eroded area. It can cause the destruction of the embankment and bring about flying dust, to which little attention has been paid. Based on analysis of the embankment-caused acceleration of wind, a design method under consideration of wind erosion is put forward for embankment in the non-wind-eroded area. Then protection range for the embankment is suggested and countermeasures against wind erosion are given. The results of this paper help render the design of embankment more reasonable and environmentally friendly.

Abstract: Rift Valley Fever (RVF) is a notifiable multiple species diseases in the OIE list, and causes human and agricultural losses in endemic regions. To develop the rapid method for detecting of RVF, 2 specific primers for reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and 7 overlapping oligo primers were designed according to the nucleotide sequence information of RVFV published in GenBank, and a DNA fragment about 318 bp of the segment S was synthesized in vitro by overlap extension PCR to construct the recombinant plasmid pMD19-T-RVFVS. Then, the 2 specific primers were evaluated via a serial of tests, including reaction temperature optimization test, sensitivity and specificity tests. The results showed that the 2 designed primers are suitable for RVFV RT-PCR detection which is a rapid method with good specificity and sensitivity, the detection limit was approximately 85 copies of the cloned viral genomic fragments (pMD19-T-RVFVS) as well as resulted in no cross-reaction for peste des petits ruminants virus (PPRV), Epidemic encephalitis B virus, E.coli , Salmonella and Pasteurella multocida etc common pathogens isolated from ruminants detection.

Abstract: As one of the most popular and effective classification algorithms, Support Vector Machine (SVM) has attracted much attention in recent years. Classifiers ensemble is a research direction in machine learning and statistics, it often gives a higher classification accuracy than the single classifier. This paper proposes a new ensemble algorithm based on SVM. The proposed classification algorithm PB-SVM Ensemble consists of some SVM classifiers produced by PCAenSVM and fifty classifiers trained using Bagging, the results are combined to make the final decision on testing set using majority voting. The performance of PB-SVM Ensemble are evaluated on six datasets which are from UCI repository, Statlog or the famous research. The results of the experiment are compared with LibSVM, PCAenSVM and Bagging. PB-SVM Ensemble outperform other three algorithms in classification accuracy, and at the same time keep a higher confidence of accuracy than Bagging.

Abstract: The selection of kernel function in Support Vector Machine (SVM) has a great influence on the model performance. In the paper, Mexico hat wavelet kernel is introduced to employ the kernel function of SVM, and theoretically it has be prove that, Mexico hat wavelet kernel satisfies the Merce condition, that is the necessary condition as the kernel function of SVM. Simulation on the anomaly detection shows that the capability of SVM based on Mexico hat wavelet kernel is better than that of SVM based on RBF kernel with a satisfactory result for anomaly intrusion detection.

Abstract: A new loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) method for the detection of Cyprinid herpesvirus 2 (CyHV-2) was developed. Following the synthesis in vitro of a 413 bp DNA fragment of CyHV2 DNA-dependent DNA polymerase gene by overlap extension PCR using 11 overlapping oligo primers designed according to the gensome sequences information of CyHV2 published in GenBank, a set of 6 LAMP primers were designed based on the synthesized DNA fragment, and the LAMP assay was primarily established after preparation of target gene fragments, optimization of reaction conditions, products identification, sensitivity and specificity tests. Results showed the developed LAMP assay was a rapid, specific and sensitive method for CyHV2 detection, with a ladder-like pattern of amplification bands from about 177 bp incubation at 64°C for 30 min by using agarose gel electrophoresis. The detection limit could reach about 15 copies of cloned viral genomic fragments, and no cross reaction with Aeromonas veronii , Aeromonas hydrophila , Pseudomonas fluorescens and Streptococcus common pathogens isolated from fish detection by this approach.

Abstract: The Realizable k-ε Reynolds averaged Navior-Stokes (RANS) turbulence models and SST k-w detached eddy simulation (DES) models are investigated for simulation of external flow and trailing vortex around Ahmed body. The 3-D N-S equations are solved with central finite volume scheme and half-implicit SIMPLE method. The time average parameters of the DES results, such as the pressure, velocity field and drag coefficient Cd, are verified by comparing with RANS and experiment data. The vortex structures of vertical, horizontal plane and cross-section, along with the turbulent kinetic energy of tail vortex are studied in details. The results show that for time averaged parameters both models can get reasonable results, while for capturing the instant flow structure, DES shows advantage over RANS model.

Abstract: Caofeidian harbor is a large size deep-water harbor currently under construction in the Bohai Bay, the eastern coast of north China. The construction began in 2003. The characteristics of tides and tidal currents in the Caofeidian area are analyzed with field data from comprehensive field observations from 2008 to 2010. The field observations and analysis show that the tide is the irregular semi-diurnal and tidal current is characterized as a type of reverse flow with moving west during flood tides and east during ebb tides. In general, the flood current is slightly stronger than the ebb current, and the strongest tidal current appears in the Caofeidian foreland, which is the predominant driving force to maintain the deep water depth.

Abstract: To develop the reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) for the detection of European brown hare syndrome virus (EBHSV), 3 specific primers and 9 overlapping oligo primers were designed to amplify a fragment of 335 nucleotides from the genome of EBHSV according to the genome sequences published in GenBank, and a 359 bp DNA fragment of the capsid protein(VP60)gene of EBHSV was synthesized in vitro by using overlap extension PCR to construct the recombinant plasmids pGM-T-EBHSV, then the RT-PCR method was described through the optimization of reaction conditions, sensitivity and specificity tests. Results showed the RT-PCR method was supplied for the detection of EBHSV with good specificity and sensitivity. The sensitivity of the RT-PCR could reach about 50 copies of cloned viral genomic fragments (pGM-T-EBHSV), and no amplifications for RHDV, Pasteurella multocida, E. coli and Salmonella from rabbits detection by this approach.
