Abstract: There is compelling evidence that TMEM16A fuctions as calcium-activated chloride channels (CaCCS), which was discovered by three independent labs in 2008 after Calcium-activated chloride channel current was first recorded in the 1980s. CaCCs are involved in many physiological processes, including transepithelial fluid secretion, smooth muscle contraction , sensory signal transduction and others. CaCCs are considers as potential drug therapy of hypertension, secretoy diarrheas, neuropathic pain, asthma, cystic fibrosis and certain tumors. In our previous study, TMEM16A with green fluorescence protein (GFP) fusion protein were subcloned into pcDNA3.1/Zeo. In this study, TMEM16A transient transfection conditon of Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells were optimized through liposome transfection and CHO cells expressing TMEM16A were got by stable transfection in which the classical calcium-activated chloride channels current was recorded by whole cell patch clamp technique. By a comparison between the results in this study and the results in previous study, both CHO and FRT cells are suitable for TMEM16A-pcDNA3.1 expression through liposome transfection and currents were recorded in both FRT and CHO cells by whole cell patch clamp technique, but our results indicated different purposes should require different cell lines and methods. These results were beneficial for the delving into study of TMEM16A-CaCCs by patch clamp technique which is the gold standard for real-time investigation of ion channels and their effectors.

Abstract: Workshop facility layout belongs to a kind of combinational optimization problem, which has the characteristics of nonlinearity and not being easily solved with conventional methods, therefore it is regarded as a typical NP hard problem. This paper proposed a crowding niche cellular genetic algorithm. By introducing niche crowding technology to select the best individuals, the population diversity was well maintained. On the other hand, neighbors in cellular automata were adopted to study more on the cellular topological optimization structure, which enhanced the global searching ability of the algorithm. In addition, multi-line workshop facility layout problem has been optimized in the paper, which verified that the crowding niche cellular genetic algorithm was effective and applicable.

Abstract: This paper studies the effect of the Columbic force on piezoelectric fracture. Bound charges emerge on the upper and lower surfaces of a permeable crack when a piezoelectric solid with the crack is subjected to far-field mechanical/electric loading. Taking into account the Columbic force between the bound charges, we obtain a non-linear equation governing the normal component of electric displacement D 2 (x 1 )on the crack faces. The results show that D 2 (x 1 )is, in general, not a constant along the crack faces and depends on the mechanical/electric loading conditions, the crack profile and the material properties outside and inside the crack. Furthermore, we examine the Columbic force under low mechanical/electric loads and then discuss the effect of the Columbic force on the fracture behaviour of piezoelectric materials.

Abstract: The sensitivity analysis of wellbore heat transfer during the CO 2 injection process is of vital importance to Carbon dioxide utilization and sequestration (CCUS). A numerical simulation method is developed to simulate the process of wellbore heat transfer during injecting carbon dioxide by amending the classical heat transfer modelRamey models. It analyses how the selected parameters affect the distribution of the wellbore temperature and pressure, which include CO 2 injection temperature, pressure and density, the injection flow rate and Joule Thomson coefficient. The results show that, CO 2 injection temperature has greater impact on the initial level of the temperature distribution; higher injection pressure raises the temperature mainly because of the effect of Joule Thomson coefficient; also, when the injection process lasts a longer time, the distribution is much more stable. When the injection flow rate is higher, the strata temperature has less influence on the flow temperature. The injection pressure and density has very appreciable effect on the pressure distribution. However, the other parameters have less influence on it. The modified simulation method was applied in Jiangsu Caoshe oil field and the simulation results coincided with the measuring data well.

Abstract: Based on the theory of cantilever construction, combined with a three cross continuous rigid frame bridge, choosing the biggest cantilever stage, side span cross fold stages, middle span cross fold stage and complete bridge stage as the research object. Considering the pillar-soil function, making the seismic elastic-plastic response calculation. Getting the result that, during the earthquake, pillar-soil function can improve the flexible extension ability of the bridge structure so as to get better resistance seismic capacity. Internal force of the construction stage gradually reduces along the bottom pier, the middle pier and the top pier. Along the bridge, the maximum bending moment appears at the biggest cantilever stage. Horizontal to the bridge, the maximum bending moment appears at the side span cross fold stages. Plastic areas develops quickly during pier bottom and pile top, the crack is obvious; Plastic hinge first appears in the pile foundation, consuming earthquake energy through its plastic deformation so as to reduce the earthquake impact of pier. We should try to avoid plasticitys appearing in the pile foundation during the design, which will provide convenience for the follow-up maintenance.

Abstract: Industrial residues--fly ash, carbide slag, desulfurization gypsum--of different proportions were used as raw materials to discuss the sintering characteristics and thermal effect of each proportion and their effects on porous cementitious materials. The properties of those materials were analyzed and the formula were calculated according to sulphoaluminate cement formulations . The sample were burned at different temperatures according to ceramsite-making method so that some hard water minerals and a microporous structure could be formed. By analyzing the content of and β-C2S in the burned sample using XRD, SEM and EDS and discussing the effects of different burning processes on porosity and water absorption rate of materials to know the sintering system. The results show that the material burned at 1250°C for 20 min has good thermal insulation properties and cementing properties.

Abstract: Anaerobic process of biohydrogen production was developed recently. The representative strain of hydrogen production bacteria, namely fermentative hydrogen producing bacterial strain B49,was isolated from the activated sludge which was cultured artificially by our lab. In this study, there were some different C/N ratios employed. Experiment results indicated that the concentration of carbon and nitrogen had a great effect upon hydrogen production of B49, when C/N=2.5, glucose got the highest degraded efficiency, and at a C/N ratio of 3.3, the bio-gas and hydrogen production peaked with 159mL and 37.5mL, respectively, which considered that the optimum C/N ratio on the growth and hydrogen production was 3:1. Furthermore, the mainly terminal liquid products of B49 were ethanol and acetic acid. With the increase of the total organic nitrogen, final pH value decreased gradually.

Abstract: Functional model for realizing the data integration of product data management, reverse engineering software and CAD/CAM system is proposed to support digitized prototyping and shorten the time market of new product. Measured data from CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), describing the geometric information of product would be sent directly to RE software. After refining and smoothing the “data cloud”, meshes of curves would be generated and sent to CAD/CAM system. The original data will be overlaid onto NURBS model obtained from CAD system to verify the reconstructed surfaces. The CAD model may be further faired, analyzed or NC machined within the context of current CAD/CAM system. Feasibility of such an approach has been testified on a sample part.
