Abstract: In order to build an accurate spray model for studying the characteristics of n-butanol and diesel blends. First, the calculation of gas-liquid two phase flow inside the nozzle was carried on, the birth and development of cavitation and the non-uniformity of the velocity field inside the nozzle were analysed. Then the spray model coupled flow inside the nozzle was established and verified. The spray simulation calculation of n-butanol and diesel blends was carried on by using the model, and compared the results with the results of flow inside the nozzle not coupled. The results show that the droplet speed, spray penetration and SMD of D100 and N40 is all bigger under the condition of without coupling flow inside the nozzle. The flow inside nozzle will affect the whole spray process and spray characteristics, which will ultimately affect the combustion and emission characteristics. So the spray model coupled flow inside the nozzle can provide accurate initial condition for spray calculation, which can reflects the fuel spray characteristics truly.

Abstract: Datasets of metabolomics of multi-group are becoming increasingly complex, hard to summarize and visualize. Hierarchical Modeling makes the data dimensionality reduction and interpretation much easier by principal component analysis (PCA). Dose-response curve is drawed with the principal component score values. As an example, dataset from Ma Xin Shi Gan Tang (MXSGT) water extract administrated rats plasma collected by LC/MS/MS was used to demonstrate this method. As a result, Hierarchical Modeling based on PCA was proved to be an effective, time saving method for data purification.

Abstract: Weak signal detection has attracted many researchers attention all over the world. Most of the methods focus on the single frequency signal. This paper introduces a new method to separate the weak double-frequency signal overwhelmed in heavy background noise. The cascaded stochastic resonance (SR) system (CSRS) is composed of a bistable SR model in the first stage and a tristable one in the second. Based on the characteristic of the SR system, we can amplify the useful signal of high frequency using twice sampling technic to make its parameters matching the requirements of the system. In our proposed cascade stochastic resonance system, we highlight the appointed frequency from high to low successfully with adjusting the twice sampling multiple and the high pass filter band. The signal composition of different frequency can be obtained from the systems two stage output. Simulated experiment validates the CSRSs availability in weak double-frequency signal separation and also its promising application in a more complex mixed signal.

Abstract: The effects of hot deformation conditions in the stable austenite state on the transformation kinetics and morphology of bainite were examined using dilatometry, electron back scatter diffraction (EBSD) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements in a carbide-free bainitic steel with a composition of Fe-0.34C-2Mn-1.5Si-1Cr (in wt.%). Both uniaxial tensile and compression tests were applied to study the effect of the deformation mode. The temperature, strain and strain rate of deformation were varied in the ranges of 820-1000 °C, 0.1-0.6 and 0.001-0.1/s respectively. It has been revealed that hot tensile deformation retards the austenite transformation to lower bainite. The overall transformation kinetics slows down and the final attained amount of bainite decreases after completion of the isothermal transformation at 350 °C. However, hot compression deformation accelerates the bainite transformation, increasing both the bainite transformation rate and the final amount of bainite formed. The total amount of bainite increases with decreasing the strain rate irrespective of the mode of deformation. The effect of the deformation temperature and strain on the bainite transformation is in a complicated manner depending on the deformation mode.

Abstract: A series models of Ni3Fe/Al2O3/Ni3Fe magnetic tunnel junction with Al-terminated interfaces have been established for investigating the influence of ferromagnetic layer thickness on the electronic structure, employing first-principle methods based on local spin-density approximation theory. The spin polarization of the interfacial Ni3Fe monolayer shows a maximum v alue as the thickness of ferromagnetic layer increases. The Al monolayers at the ferromagnetic/insulating interface and the O monolayer in the interior of insulating layer are also studied in terms of the change of spin polarization with the ferromagnetic layer thickness. In addition, we have found that the structure of Ni3Fe monolayer has a great influence on the spin polarization.

Abstract: With a wide band gap of 3.4 eV and a large exciton binding energy of 60 meV at room temperature, ZnO is attractive for blue and ultra-violet optoelectronic devices, and transparent conducting oxide films for photovoltaic applications. For a semiconductor to be useful, particularly in reference to optoelectronic devices, band gap engineering is of great importance in device development. Alloying of MgO and CdO with ZnO has been studied extensively in comparison to other ZnO alloys incorporating equivalent anions like ZnO 1-x S x (ZnOS). In this work, high-quality ZnOS thin films were grown on glass substrates by pulsed laser deposition using a ZnS ceramic target with varying O 2 partial pressures between 0 and 6 Pa. ZnOS alloys with a wurtzite structure were achieved and no evident phase separation was observed in the whole composition range as determined by X-ray diffraction. The optical transmission measurements show that the average transmittance in the visible range of the films is about 80%. The absorption edges of the films first shift towards low-energy side with increasing the oxygen partial pressure and then blueshift when the oxygen partial pressure is over 2 Pa. The bandgap energies of the ZnOS films were calculated to change from 3.06 to 3.72 eV, showing a nonlinear variation with a bowing behavior that was previously reported.

Abstract: In this work series of models were constructed in order to investigate the relationship between atomic and electronic structure and TMR property. Models with normal component interface of Fe/MgO/Fe magnetic tunnel junctions were calculated by first-principles discrete variational method (DVM) within the framework of local spin density functional theory. The SP and TMR ratio of Fe at interface of ferromagnetic layer as well as density of states are analyzed. Our research shows that the thickness of ferromagnetic layers effect much on electronic structure. The interface and surface Fe layers have different feature from that of interior.

Abstract: For study the damage characteristic of the mullite heat storage ceramic under thermal shock condition, mechanical properties of mullite have been investigated. Under the different cooling mediums (room temperature water, boiling water, air), single and five cycles thermal shock conditions, The article studied the variation of flexural strength and fracture toughness along with temperature. The result show that with the increase of heat transfer coefficient of cooling medium, the bending strength of ceramic decreased. In the 600°C,the ceramic have a maximum bending strength and a minimum fracture toughness. The fracture toughness of precrack specimen is lower than that of non-precrack specimen on the whole. Both Precrack ceramic and non-precrack ceramic have a maximum fracture toughness at 400°C. The study of this paper provides a theoretical basis for the better predicting fracture damage and service life of heat storage ceramic.
