Abstract: Adequate carbon source is critical for biological nutrients removal from wastewater, and waste activated sludge (WAS) treatment or disposal is costly and difficult in wastewater treatment plants. In this study, a novel sludge fermentation process was launched to develop the internal carbon source of WAS to enhance biological nitrogen removal, nitrite and nitrate was directly added into anaerobic fermentation system and then formed WAS anoxic fermentation denitrification system (AFD), in which, the sludge fermentation and denitrification were expected to proceed simultaneously. Experimental results of 40 days’ fermentation showed that 0.12 gNO 2 - -N/gVSS and 0.11 gNO 3 - -N/gVSS, or 0.26 gNO 2 - -N/gVSS-reduction and 0.24 gNO 3 - -N/gVSS-reduction, could be simultaneously obtained in AFD, and it could be calculated that 37.9% of total VSS and 80.7% of VSS reduction was utilized for nitrite or nitrate removal, which suggested a good performance of denitrification driven by WAS in AFD. The highest accumulation amount, 204 mg/L, of volatile fatty acids was occurred in the 11th day, which proved a rapid fermentation was present in AFD. Furthermore, the variations of pH or ORP in AFD could well indicate the progress of fermentation and denitrification.

Abstract: Powerful military logistics system has been the mighty support of the high technical war, and cost control is the key to improving the efficiency of the military logistics. This paper proposed a cost control method in military logistics system based on activity-based costing (ABC). Starting with the consideration of characteristics of the military logistics, the target of cost control in military logistics system is put forward. Then the feasibility of applying ABC in military logistics cost control is analysed and the principles of it are explained. And in order to realize the target of cost control in military logistics system, the matrixes of the quantity and the distribution ratio of cost driver are constructed by the mathematic model. Finally, on this basis, the model of cost control in military logistics system is built, and the concrete measures is put forward.

Abstract: The room temperature tensile strength and ductility of Mg-3.3%Li alloy were improved simultaneously by two kinds of different equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) treatments. Microstructural analyses showed that grain refinement and texture modification are the principal reasons for the improvement of mechanical properties.

Abstract: The flesh firmness of AC and rin mutant tomato fruits picked freshly were the largest. Respiration rate and ethylene production were very low at this time. With ethylene production increase, fruit firmness began to decline. 100μL/L ethephon significantly increased AC tomato fruit ethylene release, respiration rate, ACS activity and ACO activity, and decreased flesh firmness. However, there were no significant differences in rin mutant between control and ethephon treatment. It was shown RIN transcription factor regulated ethylene biosynthesis by ACC synthase and ACC oxidase.

Abstract: A theoretical analysis for the effect mechanism of elliptic vibration assistance on the cutting of brittle materials is presented in this paper. The crack propagation in the chip formation zone in cutting of brittle materials is examined based on an analysis of the geometry and forces in the cutting region. The cutting model shows that the actual undeformed chip thickness is much decreased with elliptic vibration assistance, and the instantaneous rake angle of the cutting tool edge is also in a larger negative value than those in conventional cutting. These two conditions can ensure the compressive stress is much larger than the shear stress during the cutting process. Then the stress intensify factor is suppressed effectively and the shielding effect on the growth of pre-existing flaws is strengthened in the chip formation zone. The removal of brittle material tends to be in ductile mode without fracture. The characteristic examination of cutting force shows that the ratio of thrust force to cutting force with elliptic vibration is increased compared to that of conventional cutting. This can validate that the larger compressive stress can be generated in the chip formation zone with elliptic vibration assistance. The transition depth to brittle machining of silicon carbide with/without elliptic vibration assistance further supports the presented theory.

Abstract: The assessment of the winding deformation of transformer has a certain practical significance. In this paper, an Improved Ultrasonic Ranging (IUR) method is proposed to assess the winding deformation of transformer. Firstly, the basic principle of winding deformation detection using ultrasonic and the working principle of detection device are discussed. Secondly, the impact of the factors such as transformer oil temperature and echo signal attenuation on the test results is analyzed. Then, a new IUR method is composed, which can realize the on-line monitoring of transformer winding deformation. Finally, an assessment equipment of transformer winding deformation based on the online monitoring is developed, and a prototype is used to test the transformer mode, proving that this method is feasible.

Abstract: This paper discusses the feasibility of improving machining efficiency of sapphire substrate by using two-dimensional (2D) ultrasonic vibration assisted grinding. An elliptic ultrasonic vibrator is designed and produced by bonding a piezoelectric ceramic device (PZT) on a metal elastic body (stainless steel, SUS304). The sapphire substrate is fixed onto the top face of the vibrator and ultrasonically vibrates in 2D vibration mode when the PZT is excited by two alternating current voltages with a phase difference. A grinding apparatus mainly composed of the ultrasonic vibrator is constructed, and experiments are performed with lateral modulation of elliptic ultrasonic vibration vertical to the grinding direction. Both the grinding forces and the ground work surface are measured and examined. Experimental results show that the grinding force decreases significantly and the resulted surface is improved in certain degree with the ultrasonic vibration compared to those of conventional grinding without ultrasonication. This indicates that the high efficiency grinding for sapphire substrate can be performed with the two-dimensional vibration grinding technique presented in this paper.

Abstract: This study examined the impact of internal stakeholders on environmental performance information disclosure. Based on data from Shanghai A-share companies for the period 2008 to 2011, we differentiated the effects among different groups of internal stakeholders. Our results show that shareholding ratio of the top ten major shareholders and the number of corporate employees positively affects environmental performance information disclosure (EPID) significantly, and institutional shareholding ratio negatively affects environmental performance information disclosure significantly. We do not find shareholding ratios of small and medium-sized investors, qualified foreign institutional investors (QFII) and B-share investors affect EPID significantly. Our results suggest that internal stakeholders do affect environmental performance information disclosure, but the extent varies depending on specific groups of internal stakeholders.

Abstract: In this paper, aiming at vibration problem existed in the development of full-floating cab, a multi-body model of full-floating cab was set up and used to analyze its mode and vibration response. The influence of suspension stiffness for cab vibration performance was optimized. The results indicate the key vibration mode of full-floating cab was decoupled by reasonable match of front and rear suspension stiffness and vibration response was improved obviously.
