Abstract: A potential way of CO 2 capture and storage by hydrates is proposed in this paper. The characteristics of hydrate formation is investigated in a small scale dynamic reactor under high pressure conditions from 2-3.5Mpa. Temperature varied between 0.5-4°C. The effect of supercooling degree and overpressure on hydrates formation were discussed. Hydrates formation can be completely finished within 150min and the final pressure-temperature points of system are just on the hydrates equilibrium curve. The induction time increasing with the decreasing of supercooling degree and increase of pressure. It is less than 40min under the experiment conditions.

Abstract: Carbonyl iron is an excellent microwave absorption material. However, the high density limits its application in lightweight microwave absorbing. In this study, flake carbonyl iron (FCI) was prepared by high-energy ball milling, and mixed with TPU to prepare the TPU/FCI composites. The large shape anisotropy of FCI makes the TPU/FCI samples exhibit higher permittivity and permeability, and consequently better microwave absorption performance than TPU/SCI (spherical carbonyl iron). Then, rGO was added into the TPU/FCI composites. The permittivity of the TPU/FCI/rGO composites is significantly enhanced by a few amount of rGO (less than 0.5 wt.%). As a result, the TPU/FCI/rGO sample with m FCI : m TPU = 3:10 and 0.5 wt.% rGO consumes only half of FCI that the TPU/FCI sample with m FCI : m TPU = 6:10 uses, and shows much better microwave absorbing performance than this TPU/FCI sample, that the minimum reflection loss reaches-68.3 dB (at 3.4 mm) and the effective absorption bandwidth is up to 5.9 GHz (at 1.5 mm). The TPU/FCI/rGO materials demonstrate promising application in light-weight high-efficient microwave attenuation.

Abstract: This work is dedicated to the development of an on-line monitoring system of SF6 decomposition in electrical devices (SF 6 DcpMS) in order to evaluate the health condition of the devices in real time. The feature decomposition, SO 2 , and SF 6 purity are continuously monitored. Considering the oxidation-reduction reactions of SO 2 electrochemical sensor during detection, the methodology of utilizing the air in the electrical device is proposed based on the tests of serving devices. And it is proved via tests that electrochemical sensors can be applied into SF 6 DcpMS. Besides, infrared detector is employed to detect SF 6 purity. Sampling method of SF 6 in electrical devices is described. There are three keys in the sampling device design for the on-line monitoring system: -- Sensor working environment: The rating pressure is one atmospheric pressure for sensor working. Therefore, a gas chamber is constructed, in which the suitable environment for sensor is completed via a pressure regulator and a pressure sensor. At the same time, an appropriate control method is scheduled. Gas in the chamber is continuously replaced with that in the electrical device to ensure detection accuracy within an acceptable range. -- SO 2 adsorption feature: The monitoring accuracy is seriously influenced by the adsorption feature of SO 2 . As we known, flowing gas can decrease SO 2 adsorption feature. So, a micro bump is designed in the gas chamber, which can ensure the gas flowing at the speed of 200ml/min. -- Sample gas back into electrical devices: In order to avoid the gas cause harm to humans, the gas leakage is not allowed in the on-line monitoring system, and the sample gas must be sent back to the electrical device after detection is accomplished. Sample gas back into electrical devices is realized via a bump and a check valve with adjustable cracking pressure. The first SF 6 DcpMS in China has been successfully put into service in Zunyi substation, and its performance has been proved out.

Abstract: This paper represents a hierarchical pipe system disassembly method by using dynamic self-adaptive tree (DSAT) based motion planning to perform disassembly for a complex pipe system. A pipe system CAD model is prepared initially to indicate the environment of the disassembly procedure. The improved motion planning method provides basic algorithm support for indicating the feasible escape path of a single part. Our technic gradually reduces the complexity of the pipe system to generate a hierarchical structure which takes all geometric information of the system. The hierarchical structure is preserved and used for the generation of a disassembly relationship graph which indicates the feasible disassembly sequences.

Abstract: Objectives The aim of this study was to compare 3D accuracy of tooth image reconstruction from three kinds of CT scans using 3D superimpositional method. Methods 18 sound extracted human teeth were scanned by 3D optical system, spiral CT, micro-CT, and cone-beam CT scanner. The digital teeth images reconstructed from three kinds of CT scans were superimposed onto the standard image from optical scans respectively. Distribution patterns of shape discrepancy were presented using histogram, as well as showed in different colors on the superimposed imagines. The ratio of voluminal discrepancy versus the volume of the standard image ( R VD/VS ) was calculated and analyzed, using the matched-pair t-test and rank sum test. Results Compared with the standard tooth image, the average R VD/VS of digital teeth images by the micro-CT, cone-beam CT, spiral CT scans were 5.11%, 20.73%, 24.60% respectively, and there were statistically significant difference among the three kinds of CT scans ( P 〈 0.01). Significant difference were also found among the anterior teeth, bicuspids, and molars (P 〈 0.01). Histogram gave the description about the counts and magnitude of the discrepancies. Marked by difference colors, the superimposed images could give visualized information about the magnitude and distribution patterns of discrepancies. Conclusions The digital teeth models reconstructed from the spiral CT, micro-CT, cone-beam CT images are inhomogeneous enlarged, compared with the original models. As the only realizable way to individualized FEM analysis, tooth modeling by CT scans needs more efforts and refinements to improve its accuracy.

Abstract: This paper integrates experiment modal analysis and the analytical modal analysis to study on the vibration phenomena occurring occasionally at the different components of a precise horizontal machining centre. The paper is focused on extracting the mode shape of the major components of the machine in order to ensure resonance phenomena as a cause of vibration. At first the main natural frequencies with the corresponding modes of vibration of the machine structure are obtained by the experiment modal analysis. Then the dynamic behavior of the machine components is simulated using a finite element simulation model. The comparison of the results based on finite element calculation with their experimental counterparts shows the reasonableness. The model is evaluated and corrected with experimental results by modal testing of the machine components.

Abstract: Pb0.97La0.02(Zr0.95Ti0.05)O3 antiferroelectric thick films were prepared on platinized silicon substrates by sol–gel methods. Films showed polycrystalline perovskite structure with a strong (100) preferred orientation. The antiferroelectric nature of the films was confirmed by the double hysteresis behaviors versus applied field. The temperature dependence of dielectric constant and loss displayed the Curie temperature was 225oC.The current caused by the polarization and depolarization of polar was detected at coupling application of electric field and temperature. The phase transition characterization could be effectively adjusted by electric field and temperature.

Abstract: The effect of a 6T high magnetic field on the microstructure of directionally solidified NiAl-Cr (Mo)-Si near-eutectic alloy was investigated at the withdrawal rates of 2, 10 and 50 μm/s. The results showed that the microstructure evolved from planar eutectic to primary NiAl dendrites + cellular eutectic and then to dendritic eutectic with the increasing withdrawal rate. When the magnetic field was imposed, the well-aligned eutectic lamellae were disturbed and transformed into a wavy one at 2 μm/s. When the withdrawal rate increased to 10 μm/s, the application of the magnetic field destroyed the primary NiAl dendrite array and caused the occurrence of columnar-to-equiaxed transition (CET) of the NiAl dendrites. The volume fraction of primary dendrites also decreased. In addition, the width of intercellular/interdendritic regions decreased in cellular/dendritic eutectic structures when directionally solidified under the magnetic field. The above results should be attributed to the combined action of the thermoelectric magnetic force and the thermoelectric magnetic convection.

Abstract: The total reflection of the wave will occur twice and the lightning over-voltage will be increased by 2 times when the lightning wave along the line reached in the disconnect switch are derived through the analysis of the accident 66kV transformer insulation breakdown. This will lead to the switch breakdown and discharge to be grounded. In this case the breaker is between the arrester and the transformer and the transformer will withstand 2 times arrester residual voltage result in the transformer breakdown. Finally, effective preventive measures combined with the practical experience are proposed.
