    Abstract: Recently, the weight reduction of automotive body and crash safety become much more important factors. In addition, the corrosion resistance must be ensured for any material used in a structural part of automotive components. In an effort to satisfy these requirements, high strength galvannealed DP steels with 590 MPa in tensile strength have been developed in Shougang. Steel chemistry with low Si was designed to reduce the iron oxidation with chemical composition (Si, Mn etc.) and to improve the wettability by liquid zinc. And the alloying elements (Cr, Mo etc.) were added to improve hardenability of sheet to obtain DP microstructure. Newly developed 590MPa grade hot dip galvannealed DP steels have good mechanical properties and hole expansibility. The results revealed the Cr addition effectively suppresses the formation of ferrite during the continuous annealing to improve the hole expansibility of steels. The galvannealing temperatures are increased to improve the hole expansibility of steels by generating the appropriate amount pearlite.

    Abstract: A simple and convenient model to analyze the composition of the syngas has been implemented. We collect thermodynamic properties data from JANAF tables and Turns’ book. By regression analysis the Gibb’s energy functions of temperature were got. Through these functions, the equilibrium constants as functions of temperature can be deduced for the related chemical reaction in gasification process. With the equilibrium constants, the model to calculate the equilibrium composition for pure carbon gasification has been established. The model was improved from considering only isothermal reaction to including reaction heat balance and then finally with fully energy balance consideration. Since the model has been implemented on general software Excel, it will be very easy for users to apply in further study. Finally, we show how precise the estimation could be by doing comparison with early study and utilize this tool to analyze the heat balance for a specific IGCC cogeneration power plant.

    Abstract: Since the establishment of science park in Taiwan, the production categories of stationed plants are diversified and most of their operations are in the high risk field. Due to various production categories, the disaster preventions for high risk operations are variable, some are difficult and some are easy.Thus, it makes the disaster preventions difficult in the science park; it needs desperately the stationed factories to carry out a systematic, automatic and strict control method to indeed prevent disasters. It is also the highest standard for the plant operations to achieve a construction worry-free working site but it is still the target for the stationed factories on the science park to work on placing the work safety in the standard operation procedure. Based upon the administration circulation concept, this study proposed the administrative system for the high risk operations to be used on the science park, and this system is divided into four stages which include plan, execution, examination, and correction. Moreover, it also takes a science park as an example to exhibit the execution result of this system which could be referred to by other science parkin performing the administration of high risk operations.

    Abstract: A new cold rolled hot-dip galvanizing DP450 steel with low carbon and high chromium was designed and effect of the galvanizing processes on the microstructure and mechanical properties was also investigated. At last, it was compared with the referenced DP450 steel which was already produced in industry. The results show that microstructure of the experimental steel consists of regular polygonal ferrite, almost 1% MA island and little bainite. The industrial experimental cold-rolled galvanizing DP steel has excellent combined mechanical properties as follow: yield strength is 306 MPa, tensile strength is 467 MPa and elongation (A80) is 33%. Compared to the referenced steel, the experimental DP450 steel has lower yield strength, better elongation and better forming performance, accordingly.

    Abstract: This study is to develop a tool system, which is formed by a series of procedures, modifications, and assemblies, and to learn how processing characteristics are affected and what various processing parameters are. According to the cutting tool compressibility and clamping devices of rigidity and flexibility, three distinct combinations are as follows, that is (1) rigid clamping devices with hard cutting tools, (2) flexibile clamping devices with hard cutting tools, and (3) rigid clamping devices with soft cutting tools. The first are generally cutting processes, while the second are polishing processes and the third produce milling wipe or grinding and polishing compound processes. The cutting part is quite different and may cause different accuracy and removing rate. The mixture processes, such as turn-burnishing, milling-burnishing and grind-polishing, are existed. If certain flexible clamping devices with hard cutting tools are formed, the most suited to this process will be practical benefits. Considering the flexible cutting tools of clamping devices are less systematically designed, this study would mainly focus on the establishment of a systematic design, and actual cutting to explore its applications. In order to take into account the characteristics of flexibility and reduction of the retardation when connected, meanwhile, to meet not only the fixture complexity and availability (being easy) to manufacturing, but also to fit the strength and processing requirements, the systematic design is to create a tool system. After some cutting experiments have been conducted, the results proved that different degrees of flexibility on the workpiece surface would lead to different degrees of accuracy.

    Abstract: The application of ultrasonic vibrations superimposed on wire drawing, deep drawing, upsetting and rolling has been developed in the literature. No attempts have ever been made to develop the application of the ultrasonic vibration to blanking process. This paper reports an investigation into the effects of the superimposed ultrasonic vibrations of the die during the blanking process by finite element software DEFORM-2D. The results are compared with the conventional blanking experiment by Hatanaka and Yamaguchi [7] and the simulations are analyzed with various vibration directions, amplitudes and frequencies. The effects of the ultrasonic vibration on the punch load, flow stress and edge profile are systematically studied. The results show ultrasonic vibration can decrease the punch load and improve the quality of edge profile by increasing the vibration amplitudes and frequencies.

    Abstract: The paper introduces a kind of foaming plaster with main raw material of α- gypsum, which is produced by utilizing the chemical reaction principles H 2 O 2 was decomposed. Meanwhile,study the changes of density,flexural strength and compressive strength of plaster material performance with the additives in different ratio. The result showed that water-cement ratio, H 2 O 2 foaming agent and water temperature all affect the performance of the foaming plaster.

    Abstract: Four continuous annealing cycles were adopted to get four kinds of multi-phase steels using 0.2C-1.5Si-1.8Mn [wt%] alloyed raw steel and the microstructures and mechanical properties were investigated. The results show that traditional ferrite-martensite dual phase steel has a tensile strength of more than 1000MPa, but has the lowest strength-plastic product of only 18GPa%. The traditional ferrite, bainite and residual austenite TRIP steel has the highest elongation of 31% and hardening exponent of 0.24, but its tensile strength is just over 800MPa. Introducing hard matrix such as acicular bainitc ferrite or martensite to replace the polygonal ferrite matrix, meanwhile introducing metastable austenite, is conducive to obtain high strength and good ductility. Those kinds of modified TRIP steel with hard matrix can reach above 20GPa% of the strength-plastic product on the 1000MPa grade.

    Abstract: In this paper, the structure and characteristic of CANopen protocol is analyzed, and the implementation in a Water Electrolysis Hydrogen Generation Station (WEHGS) is described in detail, which includes the hardware interface design of CAN controller based on the ARM7 of LPC2292, and the software implementation. Finally, the practice proved that used CANopen in WEHGS is a good way with real time action, more reliability and low cost.
