Abstract: nanohydroxyapatite (nHA) and collagen were utilized to fabricate the bio-inspired organic-inorganic composite coating (OICC) via the Drop-on-Demand (DoD) micro-dispensing technique, which could flexibly construct multi-layer structures with varied materials composition within a layer and /or among layers reliably. This technique has been further investigated on its capability of OICC fabrication with regards to various materials (hydroxyapatite and collagen) as well as its dispensing parameters. A four-layered structure was formed, with the sequence of nHA-collagen-nHA-collagen from bottom to top. The dispensing parameters were also investigated with regards to the characteristics of the OICC fabrication. The coating was then subjected to various characterizations including scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) and adhesion test. SEM and XRD results revealed that the DoD micro-dispensing technique did not change the morphology and phase of these two coating materials. And the results of EDS further demonstrated the corresponding elemental distributions within the four-layered coating structure which demonstrated the feasibility of the DoD micro-dispensing technique for the fabrication of thin-layered OICC.

Abstract: Biological monitoring for arsenic(As) is usually based upon a determination of urine, blood, nail and hair arsenic concentration, however, saliva has been suggested as a non-invasive biological matrix for assessing exposure. To further evaluate the potential utility of saliva for arsenic biomonitoring, Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometry(AFS-230) and Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS) were used to evaluate the concentration of arsenic in drinking water, saliva and urine in endemic arsenicosis area in Shanyin County of Shanxi Province. The results showed that the arsenic concentration in drinking water was 0.55-720.0ug/L, and there were 66.67% samples above the arsenic level (50μg/L) of standards for drinking water quality. The median value of arsenic in drinking water was 127.22 μg/L. The salivary and urinary arsenic both can reflect the exposure of arsenic in drinking water. Additionally, there was a significant positive association of salivary arsenic compared with arsenic in drinking water (r=0.674, P 〈 0.05)and urinary arsenic(r=0.794, P 〈 0.05). These results demonstrated that, similar to urinary arsenic, salivary arsenic also can be used as a biomarker for assessing human exposue to arsenic.

Abstract: TbpA is a highly conserved transmembrane protein that may serve as a channel for transport of iron across the outer membrane, which is required for transferrin utilization and is responsible for removing the iron from transferrin and for transporting iron across the outer membrane in a TonB-dependent manner. In the present study, a 3D homology modeling of TbpA from Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae (App) L20 strain, based upon the Crystal structure of the hemehemoglobin outer membrane transporter ShuA from Shigella dysenteriae (PDB code: 3fhh) was performed using bioinformatics tools, as no experimental 3D structures. The program VERIFY 3D assessed the quality of the predicted structure of TbpA with acceptable scores. All the results converged to the fact that the predicted 3-Dimenrsional structure of TbpA is of good quality with acceptable scores.

Abstract: High velocity compaction technology was used to press 316L stainless powders. Effects of impact times on stress wave, green density and ejection force were analyzed. It was found that under the same total impact energy, the first loading time and the actuation duration of the second impact in double impact process were longer when compared with single impact process, while the first delay time was shorter. Furthermore, the green density of compacts prepared by double impact was greater than that prepared by single impact, but no obvious variation in maximum ejection force can be observed between single impact and double impact process.

Abstract: To the present status and difficulties of complex oilfields, like low-permeability and ultralow-permeability reservoir, abnormally high formation pressure reservoir and formation vulnerability, liquid powder fracturing stimulation technology is tested in low-permeability oilfields. This paper introduced the study of the performance of liquid powder and process optimization, including the performance optimization experiment of liquid powder, formula optimization study of insulating liquid, design of the ignition process and optimization design of construction process. The loading rate of the optimal liquid powder increased significantly so as to meet the fracture of abnormally high-pressure formation. Its active mechanism and characteristics are also analyzed in this paper. In FY block of Daqing Oilfield, the application test of liquid powder fracturing was used in six vertical wells and a horizontal well called CP-2 well (for the first time), and good results have been observed. Combined with the tests, we carried out research and analysis. Field tests show that the liquid powder fracturing stimulation technology can achieve significant stimulation goals for low-permeability oil reservoir and offer a new technological method to low-permeability oil reservoir fracturing and development.

Abstract: Because of solar radiation and the atmospheric temperature rise, the temperature change of the steel box girder bridge be larger. Thermal conductivity and sensitivity to the temperature change of steel is very good. The impact of temperature effect can be compared with the dead and live load under certain circumstances. Taking a bridge as example, the relative deformation of flat steel box-shaped girder is analyzed with the finite element analysis software. The results can be reference for other bridges.

Abstract: The explicit numerical method is used to trace the impact procedure of the tube columns impacted by a rigid body. The bar and rectangle tube models are both used to simulate the tube column. The elastic and elas-plastic impact load with different mass ratio and impact speed are obtained. The calculation results show that: for elastic models, the bigger the mass ratio and the higher the rigid body speed, the bigger the peak value of elastic impact load; at the same time, the more obvious the reduction effect of local buckling of rectangle tube on the peak value of impact load and the longer the contact time of tube model; so the peak value of impact load of the rectangle tube is not proportional to the rigid body speed. The stress wave in the tube causes a little difference between the load curves of tube model and bar model. For elas-plastic models, the higher the rigid body speed and the smaller the mass ratio, the bigger the peak value of impact load and the longer the contact time. The higher the rigid body speed, the bigger the difference between elastic and elas-plastic impact load peak value due to the expanding of plasticity. Because of the effect of local buckling, the peak value of elas-plastic impact load of rectangle tube is always lower than that of bar.
