Abstract: The increasing amount of kitchen waste (KW) has raised great concerns for the environmental risk and health issues. It is necessary that some technologies are utilized for managing and treating KW. For proper technology and operation of treating KW, the general composition characteristics of KW were investigated in accordance with different catering types. KW from different catering types (Restaurant, Noshery, Snack bar and Canteen) in Shanghai was sampled for each season in a year. All sampling was carried out 3 days repeatedly and performed after pre-treatment in order to obtain more homogeneous and representative samples. The moisture and VS/TS ratio of KW for different catering types is more than 70% and 89%, respectively. High VS/TS value indicates that KW is suitable for composting and biodegradation. The pH value of KW is lower than 7 for each catering type and drink shop gets the lowest pH (3.47). The total amount of fat, protein and carbonhydrate is over 90% for all the samples and high content of fat and protein indicates that KW can be used as the raw materials for feed process.

Abstract: Due to the characteristics of the ultra-low permeability, facture system becomes the key to the deployment of shale gas, and the following stress sensitivity damage will restrict the engineering effect. The essay takes the Niutitang group of black shale as the research object, which carried out for natural fracture rock sample and artificial fracture rock sample study of stress sensitivity evaluation in order to compare differences between them. The experimental results show that the natural fracture rock sample is medium to strong stress sensitivity, while the artificial fracture rock sample is from strong to the extreme strong stress sensitivity. Natural fracture is more flattening than the artificial fracture formation because of leaching action. The processed SEM image can reflect structure information on the two-dimensional surface. Its surface structure conforms to the fractal structure characteristics. Whats more, fracture it can also reflect the three-dimensional information of the fracture surface through grey value, which provides a new imaging method for the research of surface microstructure for fracture.

Abstract: Tourism is sensitive to global climate change and greenhouse gas emissions generated by the energy consumption restrict the sustainable development of tourism industry. Methods trying to make the tourism development of sustainability measurable are too confused to be of practical value. To overcome this obstacle, this paper built a Tourism Carbon Footprint Model based on energy consumption structure. With this TCF model, we analyzed carbon footprint of Huangshan between 2006 and 2009. We find that: (1) total carbon footprint of Huangshan increases from 2674.92 hm2 to 3456.76 hm2 at the annual rate of 7%; (2) energy consumption carbon footprint differs significantly in structure. The five kinds of energy carbon footprint, in the descending order, are the electricity, coal, diesel, gasoline, liquefied petroleum gas; (3) analysis of energy consumption carbon footprint shows that Huangshan is sustainable between 2006 and 2009.

Abstract: Bond properties of ceramic concrete reinforced by bamboo bar were investigated based on pull-out tests. The influences of strength grade of ceramic concrete, material type, bond length, side length and notch spacing of bamboo bar on the bond strength between the bamboo bars and ceramic concrete were studied. The results show that the bond failure mode of ceramic concrete reinforced by bamboo bar without notch is majorly pulling-out failure, however, ceramic concrete reinforced by restructured bamboo (RB) bar with notch appears shear failure mode. The ultimate bond strength of ceramic concrete reinforced by RB bars is higher than that of ceramic concrete reinforced by laminated bamboo (LB) bar, which is close to that of ceramic concrete reinforced by plastic bars, but lower than that of ceramic concrete reinforced by steel bars under the same condition. When the notch spacing is 15 mm, the bond strength of ceramic concrete reinforced by RB bars is the highest. The conclusions can be usable for the the constitutive relationship of ceramic bamboo-reinforced concrete.

Abstract: The precipitation behavior of carbides in Fe-5.78Cr-0.35C (wt.%) alloy during aging at 850°C was studied. The type, particle size and distribution of carbides were determined and measured by the combination of HRTEM (High Resolution Transmission Electron Microscope), XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) and quantitative metallography technique. Results show that the type of carbides was M 7 C 3 and the obvious coarsening of carbides was observed during aging. In addition, the thermodynamic and kinetic calculation using Thermo-Calc software was conducted to study the precipitation of carbides. The stable phase in the alloy aging at 850°C was M 7 C 3 carbide and austenite which is in accordance with experimental results. According to Ostwald coarsening mechanism, the average interfacial energy between γ phase and M 7 C 3 carbide was calculated as 0.7 J·m -2 . Then the precipitation behavior of carbides in Fe-5.78Cr-0.35C alloy during aging was well predicted.

Abstract: Isoconcentration flooding systems were prepared, their viscosity, shearing resistance, viscoelasticity, stability and molecule clew size were measured and the impact of polymer-bearing wastewater on polymer performance was determined in order to study the impact of polymer systems prepared with polymer-bearing wastewater on polymer performance in the polymer flooding process of Daqing oilfield. The result indicates: at the same preparation concentration, the storage modulus, loss modulus, viscosity stability, molecule clew size and shearing resistance of polymer solution systems are increased with increase in the polymer concentration in wastewater, the properties of a fresh water system are better than those of a wastewater system, the properties of a physicochemical wastewater system are better than those of a biochemical wastewater system, and the residual polymers in sewage have good viscosity increasing capacity. Therefore, polymer-bearing wastewater improves the properties of polymer systems to a certain degree and can be used as water for polymer system preparation.
