Abstract: Gasbag polishing is an automatic, flexible, controllable and practical technique, which has wide application prospect. A pulse technique based on robotic gasbag polishing system is proposed. Its main principle is to use the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technique to control the switching time of High-speed Solenoid Valve (HSV). It can not only control the internal pressure of gasbag, but also make the rubber gasbag present pulsation with PWM technique. Moreover, the performance of pulse technique is presented and the effects of different frequency pulse pressure on the polished surface roughness are analyzed through a series of experiments. At last, experimental results show that the pulse technique can improve the polished surface roughness more rapidly in certain extent with appropriate pulse frequency and process parameters comparing with conventional gasbag polishing way.

Abstract: The presence forms of sulfur in High-sulfur petroleum coke and high temperature transfer was studied in this paper. It was found that a part of sulfur escape in the form of gaseous compounds through heating coke without air. The present structure of sulfide is inferred to be thiophene according to XPS spectra. The scientific calculation for amount of high sulfur petroleum coke can be continued according to the sulfur content of petroleum coke, sulfur transfer agent and permissible content of sulfur in the coke. The gaseous sulfur caused by the high sulfur petroleum coke which is directly used as boiler fuel and coal blending can be recycled through the original sulfur purification recovery system, meanwhile, the purification load rises.

Abstract: The degradation of saline marsh in Songnen plain was controlled by many factors. Based on in-situ observation and laboratory analysis, soil properties and matters translocation in Zhalong wetland at local scale as affected by freeze and thaw action was explored. Results show that within the study plot, 1500 m in distance, but varying only 80 cm in altitude, existed four types of soils i.e. Shallow-horizon Alkalic Halosols (SAH), Crust Alkalic Halosols (CAH) and Para-alkalic Dark-Aquic Cambosols (PDC) and Sodic Hapli-Orthic Gleyosols (SHG). High content total porosity with amounts to 62% in surface horizon in marsh would help to water conservation and wetland formation. In contrast, large rate of silt or clay in texture in alkali soil and meadow soil constrain the water content in topsoil, i.e. the saturated water content 0-30 cm horizon of meadow soil and alkali soil were merely 0.83 and 0.7 m 3 m -3 . Residues & roots in surface layer of SHG expand the period of freezing phase as long as 9 months comparing to 7 months in SAH, and maximum freezing fringe in the former was 24 cm deeper than the latter (178 cm versus 154 cm). Seasonal freeze and thaw action has obvious influence on water storage in topsoil in saline marsh, leading different of soil succession therein. Soil moisture content in the surface layer of marsh increased from 2.05 to 2.62 m 3 m -3 (over-saturated), but no obvious change in PDC and Alkali soils. In contrast, electrical conductivity of saturated paste in SAH and CAH increased from 6.5 to above 10 dS m -1 . Therefore, it did not accord with the practical situation of Northeast China as that of strong evaporation was the only cause that caused saline marsh alkalinization. Protecting the vegetation or restoring surface coverage by plant in saline land in spring may help land dealkalization in high latitude arid & semiarid regions.

Abstract: With Ag-loading MWNTs antibacterial agent as functional material, the antibacterial functional PET fibers were prepared by melt blending spinning-draft one-step method. The crystallinity and the orientation of specimens were characterized by differential scanning calorimetry, polarization microscope and sound velocimeter. Moreover, the mechanical properties and antibacterial properties were measured. The results showed that the antibacterial PET fibers had good spinnability when the content of Ag-loading MWNTs less than 1.0 % (wt); compared with pure PET fibers, the degree of crystallinity, the degree of orientation and the fracture strength were improved, but the elongation was decreased; the antibacterial PET fibers exhibited excellent antibacterial properties against E.coli by the method of flask shaking.

Abstract: The aim of this work is to study the strengthening mechanism and thermal stability of spray formed H13 steel. The microstructure and hardness of spray formed H13 steels are investigated by electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and hardness measurementscanning. The calculated results demonstrate that tensile strength, impact energy and hardness values of sprayed-formed H13 steel are higher than that of as-cast H13 steel when the tempering temperature is 600 °C after quenched at 1050 °C. Compared with as-cast H13 steels, tempered spray-formed H13 steels possess supernal high-temperature temper resistant stability. The chemical composition of the carbides in spray-formed steels is V and Cr rich spherical carbides are hardly influenced by the tempering treatment.

Abstract: The particle filter (PF) algorithm provides an effective solution to the non-linear and non-Gaussian filtering problem. However, when the motion noises or observation noises are strong, the degenerate phenomena will occur, which leads to poor estimation. In this paper, we propose a modified particle filter (MPF) algorithm for improving the estimated precision through a particle optimization method. After calculating the coarse estimation with the traditional PF, we optimize the particles according to their weights and relative positions, then, move the particles toward the optimal probability distribution. The state estimation and target tracking experiments demonstrate the outstanding performance of the proposed algorithm.

Abstract: Through the addition of nano-silicon dioxide in the pure polyphenylene sulfide, the masterbatches were obtained, then using melt spinning technology to prepare SiO 2 /PPS fiber. The structure and heat-resistant properties of samples were characterized by transmission election microscopy (TEM), infrared spectrum (IR), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and other measurements. The experiment results indicate that the mechanical and heat resistance properties of PPS fiber were improved after adding the content of 1%wt nano-silicon dioxide. When the fiber was heated at 230°C for 24 hours, the breaking strength and elongation increased by 2.412cN/dtex and 11.90% compared to the pure PPS fiber. Moreover, the working temperature raised by 50°C.

Abstract: Influence of the pulse currents, the pulse frequency and CoSO 4 content of plating solution on Co content of Ni-Co alloy coatings are investigated by environmental scanning electronic microscopy and field emission scanning electronic microscope. The result shows that Co content of Ni-Co alloy coating increases as the increase of CoSO 4 content and pulse frequency. Co content of Ni-Co alloy coating increases when the current density decrease. When CoSO 4 content of plating solution and the pulse frequency increase, the coating surface become smoother, microstructure become denser and coating grain refinement. when current density is small, coating crystalline grains size are tiny and the coating crystalline grains arrangement is relatively close. In the Ni-Co electrodepositing process, the combining of Ni 2+ and Co 2+ generates [CoNi (Ⅱ)] intermediate products, then the decomposion of [CoNi (Ⅱ)] generate Co and Ni 2+ . This hinders sedimentation of Ni 2+ ions and increases sedimentary speed of Co 2+ ion. Polarization of electrodeposited cobalt is lager than polarization of electrodeposited nickel. So as the current density increases, nickel deposition relative faster than cobalt, thus leads to the cobalt content of coating decreased. The recovering frequency of metal ion concentration in pulse spread layer rise at the fixed time as pulse frequency increases.
