Abstract: The optimal design for computer control software is studied. Since computer control software is susceptible to interference during the control process, a computer control software design model based on improved PID algorithm is proposed. The PID algorithm is combined with particle swarm algorithm to calculate PID control parameters, which is viewed as evolutionary particles of the particle population, and given a certain flight speed in the search space, the speed of the particles will be adjusted iteratively and dynamically in accordance with the experience of population’s evolution calculation, in order to achieve computer control software design. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm applied for computer control software design, can improve the control precision and meet the actual needs of computer control.

Abstract: Fracture absorption energies of U-notched and pre-cracked samples of a bainitic-austenitic TRIP steel were studied at different loading rates. The results show that the total absorbed energies increase with increasing the loading rate for the two types of samples. For the U-notched samples, both crack initiation and propagation energies exhibit considerably larger values at higher loading rates. However, for the pre-cracked samples, the crack propagation energy increases noticeably with increasing the loading rate, whereas the crack initiation energy does not show an obvious rise with loading rates. These results are discussed in terms of the amount and role of austenite-to-martensite transformation occurring at various loading rates.

Abstract: Double-tubesheets are used in heat exchangers where strict tightness is required. In this paper, finite element analysis models were established to simulate the double-tubesheets. Stresses and deformations in the tubesheets induced by pressure load were calculated and formulated. Results showed that the tube supports to the tubesheet are much stronger than considered in the commonly used heat exchanger design codes. If the design is based on accurate stress analysis using finite element method, the tubesheet thickness of heat exchangers could be significantly reduced. The two tubesheets strengthen each other especially when their spacing is short.

Abstract: The conventional triaxial tests for cement-soil show stronger soften characteristics of cement-soil under low confining pressure. The soften character is weaken as confining pressure decrease. For adopting Duncan-Chang hyperbola model to obtain parameters of cement-soil, the model cannot include the stress-strain soften characteristics of cement-soil, and must be discussed. The paper studies on parameters of Duncan-Chang model using generalized Hooke law and nonlinear elastic theory. The researches show the parameters of k and n are unrelated to soften characteristics of cement-soil; the relation of Rf and σ3 is given by the soften characteristics, Rf influence the soften process directly. The calculation method could be used in E-u model, and has good practical value.

Abstract: In order to stabilize the uncertainty of large-scale new energy power’s random fluctuation in the grid, there is an increasing number of large thermal power generating unit needing to do deep variable load operation. However, the pattern of steam inlet on turbine’s part load has a very significant impact on the unit operation condition of safety, stability and economy. In this paper the HP-valve’s body vibration fault of large steam turbines caused by unsteady steam flow under partial arc admission operating at part of their full load is researched, and an economic solution based on analysis and diagnosis of fault mechanism is provided by designing of complex HP-valve opening sequence rules. This solution solves the safety problem of valve vibration and avoids the economic loss by using full arc admission or replacing the valve body equipment directly, which is of great effective and practical verified by units’s actual operating experiment. As a result, it demonstrates that the optimization of HP-valve iadmission mode can not only change the stress state of high pressure rotor and prevent its vibration caused by the force of unbalanced flow to improve the shafting stability of the unit when running with variable load, but also can improve the steam instability and solve the resulting vibration problem in HP-valve. And it is of great engineering practical value to improve high-power thermal power unit depth secure efficient load operation.

Abstract: The research explores gold nanoparticles (NPs)/PVA/carbon black composite film and their further applications in humidity sensor chips, which include: 1. Novel humidity sensitive Au NPs/PVA/carbon black composite film has been prepared; 2. Humidity sensor chips based on Au NPs/PVA/carbon black composite film devices has been fabricated. The initial research works have been focused on the preparation of gold nanoparticles/PVA/carbon black composite film and the fabrication of humidity sensor chips. Performance of as-fabricated humidity sensor devices has been investigated and compared. In this work, the Au NPs are added to a highly plasticized polymer film doped with electrically conductive carbon black particles. As the film is exposed in the water vapor and its structural conformation changes, the Au NPs and carbon black particles would be redistributed, thereby changing the electrical resistance of the device. Humidity sensor chips have been fabricated using the Au NPs/polymer/carbon black composite film with the pixels defined through screen printer or chip writer. By converting the signals into a recorder, the changes of humidity can be tracked over the chip. The success of the research not only prepares novel humidity sensitive materials, but also provides promising applications in fabricating humidity sensor chips, which with low cost, reliable humidity detector other than those reported.

Abstract: It’s necessary to calculate and analyze the strength of the pump impeller for the safe operation of the pump. In this paper, the impeller strength of a two-way full-adjust horizontal axial-flow pump in a domestic pump station under forward pumping conditions was calculated by using the unidirectional fluid-structure interaction method; it means loading the blade surface water pressure calculating from CFD software CFX as structure surface loads to the blade, and then calculating the strength of the impeller using finite element software ANSYS ; the strength of the impeller was calculated under different blade rotating angle conditions. Through the calculation, we has got static stress and deformation distribution in the impeller. The results show that under each blade rotating angle, the maximum static stress always increases with lift increasing; the maximum static stress occurs at the junction of the blade and hub; the stress concentration also occurs in there prone to cause fatigue failure; maximum deformation of the blade occurs in the leading edge close to the rim; the maximum static stress is far less than yield strength of the material that the static stress can not cause cracks.

Abstract: In this paper, Brookfield viscometer was used to test the rheological properties of sodium alginate solution and blends of sodium alginate/polyethyleneglycol(PEG)/molecular sieve in which the molecular weight of sodium alginate solution was respectively 1.59*105Da and 3.27*105Da. Besides, thermal stability and the thermal property of alginate fibers were also investigated by TGA and DSC. The fracture strength of blended alginate fibers was discussed by electronic monofilament tensile strength tester. The results showed that the system was a typical kind of non-Newtonian fluid. The apparent viscosity declined with the increase of shear rate. Rheological properties were affected by temperature and contents of the blends, at the same time, non-Newtonian index and structure viscosity index also changed. Research results were very important to the choice of wet spinning process. The thermal property and energy storage effect of alginate fibers was good, so was the fracture strength.

Abstract: In the present study, the effects of ausforming on the bainitic transformation, microstructure and mechanical properties of a low-carbon rich-silicon carbide-free bainitic steel have been investigated. Results show that prior ausforming shortens both the incubation period and finishing time of bainitic transformation during isothermal treatment at a temperature slightly above the M s point. The thicknesses of bainitic ferrite laths are reduced appreciably by ausforming; however, ausforming increases the amount of large blocks of retained austenite/martenisite and decreases the volume fraction of retained austenite. And accordingly, ausforming gives rise to significant increases in both yield and tensile strengths, but causes noticeable decreases in ductility and impact toughness.

Abstract: The modified desulfurized ash is prepared through autoclave curing the desulfurized ash for 6 h at 175.4 oC in the presence of 2.0 wt% Fe2O3 and 0.75 wt% H2O2. In this process, 47.64 % of the calcium sulfite in the desulfurized ash is converted into calcium sulfate. The autoclaved brick is made by 36 wt% modified desulfurized ash, 24 wt% fly ash, 32 wt% sand and 8 wt% stones. The water-solid ratio is 0.10. The compressive strength of the brick is up to 15.7 MPa. For this method, the calcium oxide and calcium sulfate in the modification desulfurized ash are used to replace the lime, gypsum and other materials. The solid wastes are reused and natural resources are saved.
