Abstract: The point load test and rebound tests were part of a simple rock testing methods, which together with a user-friendly, work environment characterized by less demanding test, so test the application of rock in the tunnel are very broad. Obtained by these two tests of rock uniaxial compressive strength Rc saturation level for the characterization of rock hard quantitative indicators, in the rock classification has a high status. With the computer technology in tunnel works in the field of application that can batch test data to establish the tunnel surrounding rock classification system. Article is based on two kinds of test in the same tunnel project in contrast to the use, through the rock classification system to analyze and evaluate both.

Abstract: Abstract:Objective: To investigate whether any association exists between genetic polymorphism in CYP2B6 c.516G 〉 T and individual susceptibility to acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Methods: Our study group consisted of 96 ALL patients(T-ALL 17 cases, B-ALL 79 cases) and 348 unrelated healthy newborn volunteers as a control group. Genomic DNA was extracted from peripheral blood and cord blood leukocytes. We genotyped CYP2B6 c.516G 〉 T polymorphism by use of PCR with sequence-specific primers (PCR-SSP). The data were analyzed statistically using chi-square and logistic regression analyses. Results: The frequencies of GG genotype were 74.14%, 57.29%, 29.41% and 63.29%, and GT genotype were 23.85%, 37.50%, 64.71% and 31.65%, and TT genotype were 2.01%, 5.21%, 5.88% and 5.06% in control group, ALL, T-ALL, and B-ALL cases, respectively. Chi-square test showed a significant correlation between the CYP2B6 c.516G 〉 T polymorphism GT genotype and ALL patients (OR=2.035, 95%CI=1.249-3.313, P =0.004); and T-ALL patients (OR=6.839, 95%CI=2.309-20.252, P =0.000); whereas and B-ALL patients (OR=1.554, 95%CI=0.906-2.667, P =0.108). Conclusions: This study revealed the CYP2B6 c.516GT genotype may be a risk factor to the development of ALL, especially T-ALL.

Abstract: To investigate the effect of autophagy induced by rapamycin (Rap) on proliferation of Human Leukemia Cells (HL60). HL60 cells are treated with rapamycin to induce autophagy. Then, Western blot is performed to examine the expression of Beclin1 and LC3. MTT assay is used to evaluate cell proliferation. The cell cycle is analyzed by flow cytometry (FCM). After treatment with rapamycin for 24 hours, LC3 is dramatically increased at protein level and autophagic activity is significantly increased. And MTT assay indicated that cell proliferation is inhibited by rapamycin. Compared with control group, more cells are arrested at G0/ G1 phases. We conclude that rapamycin can induce autophagy and suppress proliferation in HL60 cells.

Abstract: AbstractObjective: To dynamicly observe the impact of changes of ambient PM2.5 on lymphocyte subsets of healthy young people. Method: During the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, we dynamic detected changes of lymphocyte subsets from125 healthy young people living in the center area of Beijing, and detected changes of lymphocytes’ immunophenotype by flow cytometry (FCM). Air samplers installed in the same area monitored continuously changes of ambient PM2.5. Results: The PM2.5 in August was obviously decreased comparing with that in June and in October. Repeated measures ANOVA suggested that the changes of PM2.5 were statistically significant (P 〈 0.05). With the improvement of ambient PM2.5, under the total number of lymphocytes, T cell number, the total number of Naïve T cells not change significantly (P 〉 0.05), helper T cell (TH) increased, suppressor T cell (TS) decreased, the ratio of TH/TS increased, regulatory T cell (RT) increased, NK cells decreased. The Pearson correlation analysis showed that the correlation between PM2.5 and TH, TH/TS, RT was negatively statistically significant (P 〈 0.05), whereas no statistically significant correlation with TS, NK cell. Conclusion: The changes of ambient PM2.5 in the shortterm effected obviously on healthy human lymphocyte subsets. With the improvement of PM2.5, on behalf of immune surveillance function of TH cell increased, TH/TS and RT cell increased, whereas representative excessive immune TS cell, NK cell reduced.

Abstract: Abstract Objective: To investigate the relationship between air fine particulate matter (PM 2.5 ) and plasma vWF level in healthy young adults during the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Methods: 114 healthy young adults working and living in Peking University First Hospital were recruited. Six blood samples at pre-Olympics, during-Olympics and post-Olympics were taken from these individuals for plasma vWF measurement. Daily concentrations of PM 2·5 were measured. Results: The change tendency of average concentration of PM 2.5 were consistent with the change tendency of average plasma vWF level. The influence of PM 2.5 on plasma vWF level had a 4 days lag effect (P 〈 0.05). Conclusion: The average plasma vWF level in the 114 normal individuals lowered in association with the decrease of PM 2.5 during the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Improvement of air pollution is beneficial to prevent some diseases, especially cardiovascular diseases.

Abstract: At neutral pH value and room temperature, nanoporous silica has been prepared through self-organization of synthetic block copolypeptide Poly(ethyl glycol)-b-poly(L-phenylalanine) (MPEG44–b-Phe7) and silicane in the organic gel system. In this system, π-π interaction between anilino-methyl triethoxy silicane and block copolypeptide MPEG44–b-Phe7 effectively controlled the growth of the silica precursors. SEM images show that the size of silica is relatively uniform with the length ranging from 20~50 μm and the diameter ranging from 2~5 μm. FT-IR spectra reveals that there exists nanoporous structure in the calcined sample. N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms are consistent with the results of FT-IR spectra and show a type-IV isotherm with H1-type hysteresis loop, which means the presence of uniform nanoporous structure. This sample has a BET surface area of 171 m2.g-1 and a pore volume of 0.55 cm3.g-1. The average pore size calculated by BJH method is 10 nm. Our results suggest a new biomimetic avenue for synthesis of nanoporous inorganic materials templated by the self-organization of copolypeptide .

Abstract: Copper tube produced by FA6502 copper alloy in a company of Wuhan appears shrinkage cavity in horizontal continuous casting, the graphite mold core which exerts stretching effects is easy to be snapped in production process. The reason why shrinkage cavity appears is found through large number of experiments and analysis. Then we adjust the component of FA6502 copper alloy, the quality of new copper alloy FA6506 is improved significantly. Furthermore, we find the reason why the graphite mold core is snapped in production process, FA6502 copper alloy’s shrinkage rate is too large in solidification. The compact power of the graphite mold core is too large to bear, too much resistance in pulling process is exerted so that the graphite mold core is snapped.
