    Abstract: According to the problem of bionic shark gill jet can reduce friction on shark surface, a model of bionic jet surface was established based on shark surface was analyzed by measurements, and its numerical simulation was processed by using RNG k - ε turbulence model. The results show that: the gill jet can reduce frictional resistance on shark surface, and the best drag reduction can be got when the speed of main field is 5m/s, furthermore the maximum drag reduction rate can be up to 17.15%. The pressure of jet hole upstream is reduced which due to the barrier to the facing fluid by the jet, so that the pressure resistance of jet surface is reduced as well. Besides, jet fluid is blocked in the boundary layer by mainstream fluid, which caused the fluid velocity of jet hole downstream is reduced, the thickness of boundary layer is increased, and the normal velocity gradient of wall is reduced, so as to achieve the effect of drag reduction.

    Abstract: TCP Vegas has the problem that it stops slow start too early, and it is more obvious in the large delay-bandwidth network. This phenomenon can cause a very long linear growth after entering congestion avoidance phase, and it will reduce the transmission efficiency. This paper analyzes that the reasons for this phenomenon is due to the exponential growth of slow start itself, then puts forward a dynamic growth algorithms of slow start, we call it Vegas-f. Improved algorithms can dynamically adjust the growth rate of slow start, so as to improve the transmission efficiency and competitiveness in mixing network. Simulation results show that the improved algorithm has completely solved the problem and the performance is improved significantly.

    Abstract: The concept of multi-constrained analysis of the cutting process is presented for the first time in the paper. The paper adopts a method to solve an important problem which is how to judge the influence of constrains during the cutting process. The research results are applied for HSS drills for cutting stainless steel. On the basis of the multi-constrained analysis combined with methods of simulations and standard experiments, the optimum methods are provided for structure, coating and cutting parameters of cutting tools. For geometric structure of tools, optimization is to increase thickness of cutting and rake angle. Coating optimization strategy is choosing high temperature hardness and low thermal conductivity coating. Optimization of cutting parameter is to adjust feed fate, then select proper cutting speed. The conclusion of paper is helpful for the cutting optimization.

    Abstract: Responding to the demand on the ultra-precision equipment for machining monocrystalline silicon, sapphire, zirconia ceramics and other large-size functional crystal substrates in the microelectronics and optoelectronics manufacturing, this study analyzes the current state-of-the-art of polishing technologies and the technical challenges to achieving high surface quality substrates. In this study, a planetary double-sided polishing machine is designed to solve the problem between achieving high polishing quality and efficiency. The machine is characterized by process stability, large polishing pressure and high polishing speed, etc. which is verified by polishing zirconia substrates with satisfactory results: material removal rate of 5 μm/h and the surface roughness Ra of 1 nm.
