    Abstract: The article identifies the ways to improve the system of vocal training in higher music education institutions of China. The problems of professional vocal education in China are identified and characterized. The ways of solving the mentioned problems in the context of professional training of vocalists in the system of higher music education of China are offered: 1) to optimize professional vocal education management; 2) to create a national model of professional vocal education; 3) to optimally correlate quality and quantity in the process of vocalists’ professional training; 4) to overcome isolation; 5) to train highly qualified teaching staff for institutions of higher music education; 6) to modernize the content of education in the process of professional training of vocal art specialists in the system of higher music education; 7) to intensify development and implementation of the methods of teaching vocalists, which would correspond to the new theoretical and methodological foundations of vocalists’ professional training; 8) to develop a new working mechanism for graduates employment; 9) to limit the commercialization of education; 10) to develop a new educational model that takes into account the world experience of vocal training; 11) to systematically increase the level of pedagogical, scientific and performing personnel.

    Abstract: The publication is devoted to the implementation of the ideas of humane pedagogy in the Lebedyn pedagogical school named after A.S. Makarenko under the leadership of L. Kirdishcheva. A review of recent studies of the problem of humanization is made. The historical origins of the phenomenon of humanism are outlined. The thesis of Sh. Amonashvili, the President of the International Center for Humane Pedagogy on the principles of implementation of humane pedagogy is presented. Peculiarities of practical use of ideas of humane pedagogy in the educational process of Lebedyn Pedagogical School are revealed.

    Abstract: Based on the analysis of the existing problems, the article highlights the ways of improving the pianists-performers training in art institutions of higher education in China. The main recommendations that will help improve the quality of pianists-performers training in art institutions of higher education, include: increasing the level of music-theoretical knowledge, historical thinking and auditory experience of European music perception by students; improving the mechanism of performance mastering of the sound space by musicians; forming students’ ideas about musical drama; guiding students’ independent work through special tasks aimed at expanding the artistic worldview, the general thesaurus; developing and creating a specialized resource on the Internet to promote advanced methods of training pianists

    Abstract: Areas and approaches to professional foreign language teachers’ development at higher education institutions are discussed in this article. Teaching foreign languages requires from teachers not only the methodological and pedagogical competences development, but also constant work aimed at maintaining the required level of foreign language proficiency. Maintaining language competence requires systematic learning of language skills (pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar) and aspects of speech activity (speaking, listening, reading and writing), which puts the teacher in need of interaction with native speakers or those who use the language taught to track new linguistic phenomena. The directions and opportunities for professional foreign language teachers development in the professional development context at a higher education institution are considered. Advanced training can be carried out in the direction of support of language and speech skills; preparation for the international exam and/or mastering the format of the international exam in order to prepare students for these exams; development of methodological and pedagogical competence; acquaintance with new documents (standards, regulations, rules, etc.) and innovations. The modern Internet resources which allow to solve various problems for a professional level increase of foreign language teachers are allocated. It should be noted that knowledge of a foreign language opens up opportunities for professionals in various fields. Distinctive features of the adult education format in the context of advanced training at a higher education institution are: openness (access to courses is provided via the Internet); multimedia (video, audio materials and other technological solutions are widely used in the courses); interactivity (active interaction of participants in the educational process with each other through participation in forums and chats); free or conditionally free training (most often the training materials are publicly available, but the receipt of documents is carried out for a fee); leading institutions of higher education are engaged in the development of courses.

    Abstract: The article aims to study research of domestic scientists on teaching a foreign language in primary school. It is determined that this problem is analyzed in several aspects: comparative and pedagogical, professional and pedagogical, linguistic, methodological, psychological, cultural. This article discusses the main aspects of learning a foreign language in an educational environment. The purpose of the article is to implicate the studies of domestic scientists which explore the educational process in a foreign language teaching in various aspects. In the study the methods of analysis, synthesis, generalization, induction, deduction, analogy were used. In this work we analyzed the problem of a foreign language teaching in primary school in the domestic scientific space. The article concludes that the need to apply these approaches to learning a foreign language, improving the educational process and improving the quality of teaching arose in connection with globalization and the need to create favorable conditions for personal development and socialization in the environment.

    Abstract: The article reveals content-procedural foundations of STEM education in the USA. On the basis of using a number of theoretical research methods (analysis, synthesis, generalization, comparison) the essence of the studied phenomenon was revealed. The types of high schools, that provide educational services in the field of STEM, are characterized, namely: selective schools, which admit gifted students who have outstanding abilities in the field of STEM; inclusive schools that serve students from all backgrounds, targeting lowincome youth, minorities and other traditionally under-represented categories of student youth; STEM-Focused Career and Technical Education (CTE) Schools, which help a wide range of high school students gain insight into the practical application of knowledge in STEM disciplines and prepare for work in the field of STEM.

    Abstract: Education is an integral part of the life of society, on the development of which the intellectual and spiritual potential of the country depends. With penetration of market relations into the educational sphere, globalization of educational services, on the one hand, and the peculiarities of the demographic situation in our country, on the other, the role of marketing and PR technologies in shaping the image of higher education institutions is difficult to overestimate. Thus, the theoretical foundations of formation of the readiness of future teachers for creating the image of the education institution not only enhances the importance of an individual university, but also influences formation of the image of education as a whole.

    Abstract: The article reveals the features of vocal traditions development in China and Ukraine in the historical context. The stages of vocal traditions development in China and Ukraine are outlined. The essential characteristics of vocal traditions at each stage of development in the studied countries are defined. The comparative analysis of both vocal traditions enabled defining the main differences and the common features in the development of the studied phenomenon. The differences lie in the fact that Ukrainian vocal tradition has been constantly improving, while Chinese – has experienced periods of decline; in China the basis of vocal training is philosophical, while in Ukraine – spiritual. The common features include implementation of foreign experience in the content of vocal education and training of vocalists in various fields – academic and folk, as well as the spread of pop singing.
