Abstract: As the world is paying increasing attention to carbon reduction, this paper uses Chinese commercial banks’ green credit and applies the DEA-Malmquist index method to construct an evaluation index system based on the panel data of the top 10 Chinese banks regarding green credit from 2015 to 2021. The results of the study show that: (1) the overall total factor productivity of the banking industry in mainland China from 2015 to 2021 is greater than 1 and shows a fluctuating upward trend except for 2015, with the mean value greater than 1 indicating a steady increase in the green credit operating efficiency of the banking industry; (2) Further analysis shows that the average value of the technical efficiency change index is greater than the average value of the technological progress index, which can be understood as the important reason for the rising operational performance of green credit business in the banking industry, and technological progress also provides a supporting role for the rising operational performance; (3) the average value of the scale efficiency change index from 2015 to 2021 is less than 1, and from 2017 onwards the value starts to be less than 1 and declining, it can be concluded that scale efficiency hinders the increase of technical efficiency index. (4) The magnitude of change in total factor productivity and the influencing factors of the 10 banks are all related to technical efficiency, indicating that the improvement of technical efficiency is the dominant factor in the improvement of green credit operational efficiency; (5) the pure technical efficiency of all 10 banks keeps increasing while the scale efficiency is decreasing, indicating that pure technical efficiency is the key factor in the improvement of banks’ technical progress index, while scale efficiency inhibits the further improvement of technical progress index. The increase in the technical progress index has been inhibited by scale efficiency.

Abstract: Poor graft function (PGF) is a refractory complication that occurs after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT). In the present study, we prospectively evaluated the efficacy and safety of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) expanded from the bone marrow of a third-party donor to patients with PGF after allo-HSCT. Twenty patients with PGF (7 with primary and 13 with secondary PGF) received MSCs (1 × 10 6 /kg) one to three times at 28-day intervals. Seventeen patients were responsive to MSCs, whereas three were not. Within the first 100 days after MSC treatment, 13 patients developed 20 episodes of infection. Moreover, five patients experienced cytomegalovirus-DNA viremia, and seven experienced Epstein—Barr virus (EBV)—DNA viremia within the first 100 days after MSC treatment; three of the latter developed EBV-associated posttransplant lymphoproliferative disorders (PTLD) within the follow-up period. Grade II acute graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) occurred in one patient, and local chronic GVHD occurred in two patients after receiving MSC treatment, including one acute GVHD and one chronic GVHD, respectively, after accepting donor lymphocyte infusions due to PTLD. After a follow-up period of an average of 508 days (range 166-904 days) posttransplantation, 11 patients died. No short-term toxic side effects were observed after MSC treatment. Two patients experienced leukemic relapse. With the exception of three patients with PTLD, no secondary tumors occurred. These results indicate that MSCs derived from the bone marrow of a third-party donor are beneficial in the treatment of both primary and secondary PGF that develops after allo-HSCT. However, additional studies will be needed to determine whether such treatment might increase the risk of EBV infection and reactivation or the development of EBV-associated PTLD.

Abstract: Background: Cytogenetics at diagnosis is the most important prognostic factor for adult acute myeloid leukemia (AML), but nearly 50% of AML patients who exhibit cytogenetically normal AML (CN-AML) do not undergo effective risk stratification. Therefore, the development of potential biomarkers to further define risk stratification for CN-AML patients is worth exploring. Methods: Transcriptome data from 163 cases in the GSE12417-GPL96 dataset and 104 CN-AML patient cases in the GSE71014-GPL10558 dataset were downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus database for overall survival (OS) analysis and validation. Results: The combination of Wilms tumor 1 ( WT1) and cluster of diffraction 58 ( CD58) can predict the prognosis of CN-AML patients. High expression of WT1 and low expression of CD58 were associated with poor OS in CN-AML. Notably, when WT1 and CD58 were used to concurrently predict OS, CN-AML patients were divided into three groups: low risk, WT1 low CD58 high ; intermediate risk, WT1 high CD58 high or WT1 low CD58 low ; and high risk, WT1 high CD58 low . Compared with low-risk patients, intermediate- and high-risk patients had shorter survival time and worse OS. Furthermore, a nomogram model constructed with WT1 and CD58 may personalize and reveal the 1-, 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-year OS rate of CN-AML patients. Both time-dependent receiver operating characteristics and calibration curves suggested that the nomogram model demonstrated good performance. Conclusion: Higher expression of WT1 with lower CD58 expression may be a potential biomarker for risk stratification of CN-AML patients. Moreover, a nomogram model constructed with WT1 and CD58 may personalize and reveal the 1-, 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-year OS rates of CN-AML patients.

Abstract: The prognosis of lung cancer varies widely, even in cases wherein the tumor stage, genetic mutation, and treatment regimens are the same. Thus, an effective means for risk stratification of patients with lung cancer is needed. Purpose To develop and validate a combined model for predicting progression-free survival and risk stratification in patients with advanced anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK)-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) treated with ensartinib. Material and Methods We analyzed 203 tumor lesions in 114 patients and evaluated average radiomic feature measures from all lesions at baseline and changes in these features after early treatment (Δradiomic features). Combined models were developed by integrating clinical with radiomic features. The prediction performance and clinical value of the proposed models were evaluated using receiver operating characteristic analysis, calibration curve, decision curve analysis (DCA), and Kaplan–Meier survival analysis. Results Both the baseline and delta combined models achieved predictive efficacy with a high area under the curve. The calibration curve and DCA indicated the high accuracy and clinical usefulness of the combined models for tumor progression prediction. In the Kaplan–Meier analysis, the delta and baseline combined models, Δradiomic signature, and two selected clinical features could distinguish patients with a higher progression risk within 42 weeks. The delta combined model had the best performance. Conclusion The combination of clinical and radiomic features provided a prognostic value for survival and progression in patients with NSCLC receiving ensartinib. Radiomic-signature changes after early treatment could be more valuable than those at baseline alone.

Abstract: Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) has gradually become the most promising high-performance material, and has achieved good results in the field of impact and explosion protection engineering. In general, normal reinforced concrete (NC) beams subjected to impact load are prone to local punching shear failure. Although pure UHPC beams can improve their impact performance, their further application is limited by the high cost. In order to achieve the balance between impact resistance and economy, this study puts forward the design scheme of local replacement and wrapping with UHPC to improve the impact resistance of reinforced concrete beams. In this work, the different research conditions including NC beam, UHPC beam and NC-UHPC composite beam are designed, and the impact resistance of specimens is compared and analyzed. The results show that UHPC local replacement scheme can effectively avoid local punching shear failure of beams. As for the UHPC wrapping scheme, the failure mode of the beam changes from punching shear failure to bending failure. Compared with NC beams, two schemes can effectively reduce the peak displacement and residual displacement in the mid-span. The peak displacement and residual displacement in the mid-span of the UHPC local replacement beam are smaller than that of UHPC wrapping schemes, and the mid-span bearing capacity is better. In this work, it is recommended to take a local replacement length greater than 2 times the beam height to avoid local punching shear failure.

Abstract: In order to study the seismic performance of precast short-leg shear wall connected by grouting sleeves (PSSW), the three-dimensional numerical model was established by using the experiment of PSSW subjected to low cyclic loading. Based on good agreement between numerical results and experimental results, the numerical analysis models with different structural parameters of axial compression ratio and splicing position were designed in detail, and the effects of various parameters on the seismic performance of PSSW were analyzed. The results show that the PSSW exhibits wide and stable hysteresis loops, indicating a satisfactory hysteretic performance and an excellent energy consumption capacity. With the increase of the axial compression ratio, the shear capacity of horizontal splice seam is improved, but the ductility coefficient and total energy consumption decrease obviously. The most disadvantageous position of PSSW can be effectively avoided by changing the position of the post pouring seam. The bearing capacity of the specimens is basically stable, and the energy consumption increases significantly, so the post pouring seam of precast wall is recommended to be far away from the bottom section of the wall. In addition, the failure mechanism of different splicing positions was analyzed in detail.

Abstract: The role and underlying mechanism of liver macrophages and their derived miR-155-5p in hepatic lymphangiogenesis in liver fibrosis remain unclear. Here, we investigated the mechanism by which macrophages and miR-155-5p were involved in lymphangiogenesis during liver fibrosis and cirrhosis. Methods In vivo, hepatic lymphatic vessel expansion was evaluated; the liver macrophage subsets, proportion of peripherally-derived macrophages and expressions of CCL25, MCP-1, VAP-1 and MAdCAM-1 were documented; and miR-155-5p in the peripheral blood and liver was detected. In vitro, macrophages with miR-155-5p overexpression and inhibition were used to clarify the effect of miR-155-5p on regulation of macrophage polarization and the possible signalling pathway. Results Hepatic lymphangiogenesis was observed in mice with liver fibrosis and cirrhosis challenged with carbon tetrachloride (CCl4). In the liver, the number of M1 macrophages was associated with lymphangiogenesis and the degree of fibrosis. The liver recruitment of peripherally-derived macrophages occurred during liver fibrosis. The levels of miR-155-5p in the liver and peripheral blood gradually increased with aggravation of liver fibrosis. In vitro, SOCS1, a target of miR-155-5p, regulated macrophage polarization into the M1 phenotype through the JAK1/STAT1 pathway. Conclusion MiR-155-5p-SOCS1/JAK1/STAT1 pathway participates in hepatic lymphangiogenesis in mice with liver fibrosis and cirrhosis induced by CCl4 by regulating the polarization of macrophages into the M1 phenotype.

Abstract: The expectation from automated vehicles has been increasing in recent years. Potential advantages for automated vehicles include driving safety, traffic efficiency, and positive environmental outcomes. To evaluate the extent to which automated vehicles are advantageous against conventional vehicles, this paper presents a simple car-following model, named the linked vehicle model, which reflects the capabilities of automated vehicles and the interaction between adjacent automated vehicles. The idea behind linked vehicle model is inspired by the collective motion of self-propelled particles in nature and the study of vehicle platooning from the Safe Road Trains for the Environment project. Moreover, the model is integrated into a traffic simulator in order to evaluate the performance of automated vehicles in an ideal circumstance. Comparisons with other representative car-following models are also provided, and they show that linked vehicle model achieves both optimal microscopic and macroscopic performance. Simulated results also show that linked vehicle model attains the best fuel economy and the lowest pollutant emissions.

Abstract: The αβ T-cell-depleted hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) leads to lower relapse and better outcome, and may correlate strongly with expansion of donor-derived γδ T cells. γδ T cells play an important role in immune reconstitution and can exert a graft-versus-leukemia effect after HSCT. This review showed the recent literature on immune functions of γδ T cells after HSCT. The discrepancies between studies of γδ T cells in graft-versus-host disease may cause by its heterogeneous and various distinct subsets. And reconstitution of γδ T cells may play a potential immunoregulatory role in the infections after HSCT.

Abstract: High fat intake is one of the most important reasons of the surging prevalence of childhood obesity all over the world. Obesity and high fat intake have been revealed to cause premature activation of hypothalamo-pituitary-gonadal axis and central precocious puberty. The onset of puberty is controlled by neuroendocrine mechanisms containing overlapping and interacting gene networks. The latter contains five major transcriptional level hubs, among which the transcriptional factor p53, a well-established tumor suppressor protein, also plays a crucial role in obesity and metabolic disorders. In the current study, we repeated prior observations that high-fat diet advances vaginal opening in rodents and extended these findings by demonstrating that high-fat diet mice had higher expression of p53 in hypothalami than mice fed with normal chow. More importantly, in high-fat diet mice, hypothalamus-specific overexpression of p53 can make vaginal opening much earlier, while inhibition of p53 expression relatively delayed vaginal opening. The c-Myc and Lin28b levels increased, while let-7a mRNA levels decreased in the high-fat diet mice. Overexpression of p53 reduced c-Myc and Lin28b mRNA and protein levels, whereas elevated let-7a mRNA levels in high-fat diet mice. Inhibition of p53 expression by pifithrin-α elevated c-Myc and Lin28b but reduced let-7a levels in high-fat diet mice. In conclusion, high fat intake can accelerate the onset of puberty by up-regulation of p53 expression in hypothalamus. Overexpressed p53 may accelerate hypothalamo-pituitary-gonadal axis activation partially through the c-Myc/Lin28/let-7 system. Impact statement High-fat intake and subsequent obesity are associated with premature onset of puberty, but the exact neuroendocrine mechanisms are still unclear. The transcriptional factor p53 has been predicted to be a central hub of the gene networks controlling the pubertal onset. Besides, p53 also plays crucial roles in metabolism. Here, we explored p53 in the hypothalami of mice fed a high-fat diet (HFD), which showed an up-regulated expression. Besides, we also revealed that overexpressed p53 may accelerate hypothalamo-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis activation partially through the c-Myc/Lin28/let-7 system. These results can deepen our understanding of the interaction between metabolic regulation and puberty onset control, and may shed light on the neuroendocrine mechanisms of obesity-related central precocious puberty.
