    Description: Multibeam bathymetry raw data was recorded in the Pacific during cruise SO267 that took place between 2018-12-11 and 2019-01-26. The data was collected using the ship's own Kongsberg EM 122. Sound velocity profiles (SVP) were applied on the data for calibration. SVP data are part of this dataset publication. This data is part of the DAM (German Marine Research Alliance) underway research data project.

    Description: The gravimetric data was acquired with a sea gravimeter KSS32-M system, which was installed on RV Sonne near its centre of gravity during the SO267 cruise. The instrumental drift of the data was approximated by repeated gravity observations in the harbour of Suva both at the beginning and at the end of the expedition. In order to tie the measurements to the International Gravity Standardization Net IGSN71, gravimetric measurements with a LaCoste&Romberg gravity metre, model G, no. 480 (LCR G480) were executed both at the pier next to RV Sonne and at the next absolute gravity reference station at the Mineral Resources Department in Suva, Fiji. Additional processing of the data comprised the correction of the Eötvös effect using navigation data and the subtraction of the normal gravity. Data was acquired along a E-W trending profile in the northern Lau Basin at ~ 16°S between the 13.01.2019 and the 14.01.2019.

    Description: This dataset includes earthquake locations from a 23 months long Ocean Bottom Seismometer (OBS) experiment conducted in response to the 2014 Mw 8.1 Iquique earthquake at the northern Chilean subduction zone. The experiment is separated into two subsequent OBS networks from December 2014 until October 2016. The accompanying zip-file SEISAN_WAV.zip includes raw waveform data for all earthquakes, the file Nordic.nor (ASCII Table) that includes all phase onset picks of all earthquakes. All data in the zipped archives can be used with the SEISAN seismology software.

    Description: The dataset comprises measurements of the total intensity of the magnetic field measured with a towed Overhauser sensor and calculated magnetic anomalies.     Description: The long-term network comprising ocean bottom broadband seismometers (OBS) forms an integral part of the European AlpArray initiative and the German DFG Priority Programme SPP ‚Mountain Building in 4 Dimensions' MB 4D (http://www.spp-mountainbuilding.de/). The instruments are deployed with a mean distance of 25 nm (46km) to the neighboring station (28 nm (51 km) to neighboring three stations) west and north of the island of Corsica. The westernmost instruments are located near the Gulf of Lions and the northernmost instruments were installed off the Ligurian coast. The scientific aim of the LOBSTER project is manifold: (1) characterisation of the crust and upper mantle of the Ligurian Basin and the transition from the oceanic to the continental domain; (2) understanding the structures and kinematics of rifting during the opening of the Ligurian Sea; (3) imaging the prolongation of the Alpine front; and (4) studying the recent deformation in the Ligurian Basin and the surrounding coastal areas as imaged through local seismicity. Additionally, the AlpArray OBS network was important to complete the densely spaced AlpArray broadband seismic network. The technical aim of the LOBSTER project is to provide consistent data that can be smoothly integrated into the land data. Instruments have been deployed in June 2017 by RV Pourquois Pas and recovered after 8 months of recording in January 2018 by RV Maria S Merian (MSM71).

    Description: Raw data acquired by position sensors on board RV SONNE during expedition SO288 were processed to receive a validated master track which can be used as reference of further expedition data. During SO288 the motion reference unit Kongsberg SeaTex AS MRU-5 combined with Kongsberg SeaTex AS Seapath 320 and two GPS receivers SAAB MGL-4 were used as navigation sensors. Data were downloaded from DAVIS SHIP data base (https://dship.bsh.de) with a resolution of 1 sec. Processing and evaluation of the data is outlined in the data processing report. Processed data are provided as a master track with 1 sec resolution derived from the position sensors' data selected by priority and a generalized track with a reduced set of the most significant positions of the master track.

    Description: The dataset contains ocean bottom hydrophone data acquired on profile P02 during RV Sonne Expedition SO267 (project ARCHIMEDES I) to the Lau Basin, Southwestern Pacific. 27 OBS recorded the seismic survey successfully and returned data for the two consecutively performed acquisitions, once with a 50m shot interval and once with a 170m shot interval. The stations 207, 215 and 229 suffered from recorder errors, which prevented or interfered with the redording of data and thus their analysis.

    Description: We provide a catalog of microseismicity recorded during a 32-days long deployment of ocean bottom seismometer (OBS) at the southern Fonualei Rift and Spreading Center in the Lau Basin, southwestern Pacific. The data file SEISAN_files.zip includes the raw waveform files and the file select.out with manual phase onset picks for all earthquakes. All files in SEISAN_files.zip archive can be opened and used with the SEISAN software to reproduce the final earthquake location results.
