    Abstract: Uvod. Bol i neprijatnost koji prate dentoalveolarne hirurske zahvate cesto su veliki problem kako za pacijente, tako i za stomatologe. Cilj ovog rada bio je da se proveri neophodnost prepisivanja analgetika posle nekomplikovanog vadjenja donjih umnjaka. Materijal i metode rada. Istrazivanjem je obuhvaceno 76 osoba kod kojih je bilo neophodno vadjenje donjih umnjaka s obe strane. Posle vadjenja umnjaka s jedne strane pacijenti su primili 550mg natrijum-naproksena ili placebo terapiju. Redosled primene lekova bio je promenjen nakon vadjenja umnjaka s druge strane. Jacina bola posle hirurske intervencije merena je pomocu skale sa sest stepeni. Za analizu dobijenih rezultata koriscen je Man-Vitnijev (Mann-Whitney) U-test. Rezultati. Poredjenjem sume intenziteta bola od dva casa do osam casova uoceno je da je bol bio manji kod ispitanika koji su dobijali analgetik natrijum-naproksen. Od osam casova do 24 casa bolne senzacije su bile manje kod ispitanika koji su primali placebo terapiju, ali bez statisticki znacajne razlike. Zakljucak. Nekomplikovano vadjenje zuba ne izaziva znacajniji bol i ne postoji potreba za prepisivanjem analgetika u takvim slucajevima.

    Abstract: In this study, Al matrix composites consisting of different amounts of Zn, Cu, and Mg were produced using the powder metallurgy technique. In the alloying, powders were ball milled for 120 min via mechanical alloying. After alloying process, the powders were pressed at 800 MPa at room temperature. Sintering (2 h at 600?C in argon atmosphere), solution treatment (2 h at 480?C), and aging processes (3, 6, 9, and 12 h, respectively, at 120?C) were applied to the samples. The hardness and tribo-metallurgy properties of the products were investigated. After sintering, the hardness values of the three alloys were close to each other; however, the solution treatment after sintering caused the hardness values to increase significantly. It was determined that the Al-2Zn-5Cu-4Mg alloy had the highest hardness increase with the 6-h aging heat treatment. The wear resistance of the materials in all the compositions had increased. The highest wear resistance and lowest friction coefficient were obtained for the Al-2Zn-5Cu-4Mg alloy with the 6-h aging heat treatment.

    Abstract: In order to obtain better mechanical properties in a bronze alloy, it is important to produce new materials by adding reinforcements and to offer these materials to the industry. In this study, bronze matrix (Cu10Sn) materials were reinforced with boron carbide (B4C) and silicon carbide (SiC) ceramic materials by using the mechanical alloying method. New composite materials were produced by powder metallurgy method by adding ceramic reinforcement (B4C and SiC) at 1, 2, 4 and 8 weight ratios to Cu10Sn alloy, which is the main matrix material. The obtained composite materials examined in terms of structural, microhardness and wear resistance. Coefficient friction, specific wear rate and volume loss rates under 5N, 10N, and 15N loads were examined for the samples produced. When the applied microhardness and wear behaviors were examined, it was generally seen that the hardness and wear behaviors were improved with the added reinforcement ratios. In line with the examinations made, based on the hardness and wear processes applied to the materials consisting of the bronze matrix of the reinforcement material, it was observed that the most appropriate results were obtained from composite materials (Alloy 4 and Alloy 8), which contain 4% B4C and SiC reinforcement.
