Abstract: Community question answering (CQA), with its flexible user interaction characteristics, is gradually becoming a new knowledge-sharing platform that allows people to acquire knowledge and share experiences. The number of questions is rapidly increasing with the open registration of communities and the massive influx of users, which makes it impossible to match many questions to suitable question answering experts (noted as experts) in a timely manner. Therefore, it is of great importance to perform expert recommendation in CQA. Existing expert recommendation algorithms only use data from a single platform, which is not ideal for new CQA platforms with sparse historical interaction and a small number of questions and users. Considering that many mature CQA platforms (source platforms) have rich historical interaction data and a large amount of questions and experts, this paper will fully mine the information and transfer it to new platforms with sparse data (target platform), which can effectively alleviate the data sparsity problem. However, the feature composition of questions and experts in different platforms is inconsistent, so the data from the source platform cannot be directly transferred for training in the target platform. Therefore, this paper proposes feature-alignment-based cross-platform question answering expert recommendation (FA-CPQAER), which can align expert and question features while transferring data. First, we use the rating predictor composed by the BP network for expert recommendation within the domains, and then the feature matching of questions and experts between two domains by similarity calculation is achieved for the purpose of using the information in the source platform to assist expert recommendation in the target platform. Meanwhile, we train a stacked denoising autoencoder (SDAE) in both domains, which can map user and question features to the same dimension and align the data distributions. Extensive experiments are conducted on two real CQA datasets, Toutiao and Zhihu datasets, and the results show that compared to the other advanced expert recommendation algorithms, this paper’s method achieves better results in the evaluation metrics of MAE, RMSE, Accuracy, and Recall, which fully demonstrates the effectiveness of the method in this paper to solve the data sparsity problem in expert recommendation.

Abstract: (1) Background: The widely developed thrust structures in the Jingzhushan Formation of late Cretaceous in Nyima Basin are related to the collision which leads to orogeny between the Lhasa and Qiangtang blocks. Clarifying the tectonic properties of the Nyima Basin is of great significance to characterize the evolution of the collision between the Lhasa block and the Qiangtang block. (2) Methods: Combined with mineralogy and petrology and U-Pb zircon dating of extrusive rocks, a detailed magnetic fabric test and rock magnetic experiment were carried out on the red sandstones of the Late Cretaceous Jingzhushan Formation in Nyima Basin. (3) Results: The sedimentary magnetic fabrics developed at the three sampling locations in the southern part of the basin are related to paleocurrents. The strained magnetic fabrics developed at one sampling site in the north, including pencil-like fabrics and tensile linear fabrics, are related to SE-NW tectonic stress. The average magnetic susceptibility value of the strained fabric with sandstone is lower than that of the sedimentary fabric, and its size is controlled by mica paramagnetic minerals. Ferromagnetic minerals are magnetite or hematite. In addition, the age of sandstone in the Jingzhushan Formation from the Nyima Basin matches the age of the eruptive rock in the Jingzhushan Formation from Coqen Basin, which is 92 Ma. (4) Conclusions: The strained fabric is developed near the thrust fault, which can explain the widely developed thrust structures in the basin. The Nyima Basin of the Jingzhushan Formation in the Late Cretaceous was an ocean-continent transitional foreland basin developed under the background of arc-arc “soft collision”.

Abstract: To support the “carbon peak and carbon neutrality” goal, new energy is poised to explode, and new energy power generation converter is simultaneously facing new challenges. The conventional current-controlled new energy converter can quickly transmit active power on the DC bus to the power grid. However, for the weak grid, the stability margin of the converter grid-connected system is reduced on the one hand, which can easily cause resonance oscillation; on the other hand, the current controlled converter cannot actively respond to system frequency and voltage fluctuation to offer support. The voltage controlled virtual synchronous generator (VVSG) is used to improve system small signal stability and frequency stability; however, its power response speed is too slow to meet the requirements of fast following power command. Although a voltage/current dual-mode switching control scheme is put forward to achieve characteristics complementary of current controlled converter and voltage-controlled converter, the control structure switching and intermediate variable following is required to realize mode switching, which is prone to large power shocks and switching failures. In view of the problem, a direct power control strategy based on VVSG is proposed. The control structure is raised based on a conventional VVSG outer active power control loop, and the output active power and frequency characteristics are analyzed. Compared with the voltage and current dual-mode control, VVSG with direct power control can perform large inertia characteristic in the weak grid and fast power following characteristics in the strong grid by adjusting λ, and without control structure switching and intermediate variable following. Moreover, the two characteristics can be smoothly transited. In addition, the active support ability of voltage source can be maintained under both characteristics. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy is verified through simulation results.

Abstract: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the sixth most common cancer worldwide, and its mortality rate is the third-highest, after lung cancer and colorectal cancer. Currently, systematic targeted therapies for HCC mainly include multiple kinase inhibitors and immunotherapy. However, these drugs carry a black-box warning about the potential for inducing severe toxicity, and they do not significantly prolong the survival period of patients due to the highly heterogeneous characteristics of HCC etiology. In order to improve the prediction, effective treatment and prognosis of HCC, the tools and different biomarkers in clinical practices are recommended. Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) is the earliest and the most widely used serum marker in the detection of HCC. Interestingly, serum AFP and cytoplasmic AFP show different, even opposite, roles in the cancer progression of HCC. This review focuses on biological characteristics, regulatory mechanisms for gene expression, emerging influences of AFP in HCC and its possible implications in HCC-targeted therapy.

Abstract: An ionic polymer–metal composite (IPMC) is a kind of soft material. The applications of IPMC in actuators, environmental sensing, and energy harvesting are currently increasing rapidly. In this study, an ordered Nafion nanofibre mat prepared by electrospinning was used to investigate the characteristics of the mechanoelectrical transduction of IPMC. The morphologies of the Nafion nanofibre mat were characterized. The proton conductivity, ion exchange capacities, and water uptake potential of the Nafion nanofibre mat were compared to traditional IPMC, respectively. A novel mechanism of Nafion nanofibre IPMC was designed and the open circuit voltage and short circuit current were measured. The maximum voltage value reached 100 mv. The output power was 3.63 nw and the power density was up to 42.4 μW/Kg under the load resistance. The Nafion nanofibre mat demonstrates excellent mechanoelectrcical transduction behavior compared to traditional IPMC and could be used for the development of self-powered devices in the future.

Abstract: Stress-associated proteins (SAPs) are novel A20/AN1 zinc finger domain-containing proteins that are now favorable targets to improve abiotic stress tolerance in plants. However, the SAP gene family and their biological functions have not been identified in the important fruit crop apple (Malus × domestica Borkh.). We conducted a genome-wide analysis and cloning of this gene family in apple and determined that the overexpression of MdSAP15 enhances drought tolerance in Arabidopsis plants. We identified 30 SAP genes in the apple genome. Phylogenetic analysis revealed two major groups within that family. Results from sequence alignments and analyses of 3D structures, phylogenetics, genomics structure, and conserved domains indicated that apple SAPs are highly and structurally conserved. Comprehensive qRT-PCR analysis found various expression patterns for MdSAPs in different tissues and in response to a water deficit. A transgenic analysis showed that the overexpression of MdSAP15 in transgenic Arabidopsis plants markedly enhanced their tolerance to osmotic and drought stresses. Our results demonstrate that the SAP genes are highly conserved in plant species, and that MdSAP15 can be used as a target gene in genetic engineering approaches to improve drought tolerance.

Abstract: From the dried vines of Aspidopterys obcordata Hemsl, five new polyoxypregnane glycosides, named obcordatas J–N (1–5), were obtained. Their structures were fully elucidated and characterized by HRESIMS and extensive spectroscopic data. In addition, all of the new compounds were screened for their antinephrolithiasis activity in vitro. The results showed that compounds 1–3 have prominent protective effects on calcium oxalate crystal-induced human kidney 2 (HK-2) cells, with EC50 values ranging from 6.72 to 14.00 μM, which is consistent with the application value of A. obcordata in folk medicine for kidney stones.
