    Abstract: In this paper, TiAlN-coated cemented carbide tools with chip groove were used to machine titanium alloy Ti-6Al-0.6Cr-0.4Fe-0.4Si-0.01B under dry conditions in order to investigate the machining performance of this cutting tool. Wear mechanisms of TiAlN-coated cemented carbide tools with chip groove were studied and compared to the uncoated cemented carbide tools (K20) with a scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS). The effects of the cutting parameters (cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut) on tool life and workpiece surface roughness of TiAlN-coated cemented carbide tools with chip groove were studied with a 3D super-depth-of-field instrument and a surface profile instrument, respectively. The results showed that the TiAlN-coated cemented carbide tools with chip groove were more suitable for machining TC7. The adhesive wear, diffusion wear, crater wear, and stripping occurred during machining, and the large built-up edge formed on the rake face. The optimal cutting parameters of TiAlN-coated cemented carbide tools were acquired. The surface roughness Ra decreased with the increase of the cutting speed, while it increased with the increase of the feed rate.

    Abstract: With the rapid development of the Internet of Things, the combination of the Internet of Things with machine learning, Hadoop and other fields are current development trends. Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) is one of the core components of Hadoop, which is used to process files that are divided into data blocks distributed in the cluster. Once the distributed log data are abnormal, it will cause serious losses. When using machine learning algorithms for system log anomaly detection, the output of threshold-based classification models are only normal or abnormal simple predictions. This paper used the statistical learning method of conformity measure to calculate the similarity between test data and past experience. Compared with detection methods based on static threshold, the statistical learning method of the conformity measure can dynamically adapt to the changing log data. By adjusting the maximum fault tolerance, a system administrator can better manage and monitor the system logs. In addition, the computational efficiency of the statistical learning method for conformity measurement was improved. This paper implemented an intranet anomaly detection model based on log analysis, and conducted trial detection on HDFS data sets quickly and efficiently.

    Abstract: Rosa roxburghii fruit is an underutilized functional food abundant in polyphenols. Polyphenols have been proved to have antidiabetic effects. This study investigates the effects of Rosa roxburghii fruit polyphenols extract (RPE) on plasma metabolites and gut microbiota composition in streptozotocin (STZ)- and high-fat diet- induced type 2 diabetes using metabolomics and 16S rRNA gene sequencing. The induced diabetic mice were fed with 400 mg/kg body weight RPE for 8 weeks. RPE demonstrated hypoglycemic, hypolipidemic, and anti-inflammatory effects. Colonic oxidative stress biomarkers were also lowered by RPE. Besides, RPE decreased plasma ceramides and tyrosine levels and increased carnitine and phosphatidylinositols levels, indicating improved insulin resistance, lipid metabolism, and immune response. Furthermore, RPE decreased abundances of Lachnospiraceae and Rikenellaceae and increased abundances of Erysipelotrichaceae and Faecalibaculum. Metabolic function prediction of the gut microbiota by PICRUSt demonstrated that RPE downregulated the phosphotransferase system. Taken together, these findings demonstrated that RPE has the potential to prevent type 2 diabetes by regulating the plasma metabolites and gut microbes.

    Abstract: Programmed cell death (PCD) in tapetum provides nutrients for pollen development. Once this process becomes abnormal, the pollen will be aborted, and sterile lines will be formed. Lycium barbarum L. is a well-known medicinal and edible plant, and male sterile lines play an important role in the cultivation of its new varieties by utilizing hybrid vigor. However, the male sterility mechanism of L. barbarum is poorly understood. In this study, the main characteristic changes during the pollen development of L. barbarum sterile line (Ningqi No. 5) and fertile line (Ningqi No. 1) were compared through anatomical observation, physiological detection and gene expression analysis. Anatomical observation showed that compared with that of the fertile line, the tapetum of the sterile line persisted during pollen development, the organelle morphology and number of tapetal cells changed remarkably, and the PCD was remarkably delayed. Membranous peroxidation caused by reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the sterile line occurred from the late tetrad to the pollen grain stage, and that in Ningqi No. 1 transpired in the tetrad stage. This difference in the dynamic changes of ROS affected the redox balance of microspore development. qPCR detection of DYT1 and MS1 genes regulating tapetum development showed that compared with those in the fertile line, the expression levels of both genes in the sterile line changed significantly from pollen mother cell stage to pollen grain stage. This finding may be associated with the start-up delay of tapetal PCD. All these results suggested that abnormal tapetal PCD is an important mechanism leading to male sterility in L. barbarum.

    Abstract: Mosquitoes are one of the most important disease vectors from a medical viewpoint in that they transmit several diseases such as malaria, filariasis, yellow and Dengue fever. Mosquito vector control and personal protection from mosquito bites are currently the most efficient ways to prevent these diseases. Several synthetic repellents such as DEET, ethyl butylacetylaminopropionate (IR3535) and 1-(1-methylpropoxycarbonyl)-2-(2-hydroxyethyl)piperidine) (Picaridin), have been widely used to prevent humans from receiving mosquito bites. However, the use of synthetic repellents has raised several environment and health concerns. Therefore, essential oils (EOs) as natural alternatives receive our attention. In order to discover highly effective mosquito repellents from natural sources, the repellent activity of 60 commercial EOs against Ae. albopictus was screened in this study. Eight EOs including cinnamon, marjoram, lemongrass, bay, chamomile, jasmine, peppermint2, and thyme, showed a suitable repellent rate ( 〉 40%) at the tested dose of 10 μg/cm2. Then, their main constituents were analyzed by GC-MS, and the active constituents were identified. The most active compounds including cinnamaldehyde, citral and terpinen-4-ol, exhibited an 82%, 65% and 60% repellent rate, respectively. Moreover, the nanoemulsions of the three active compounds were prepared and characterized. In the arm-in-cage assay, the protection times of the nanoemulsions of cinnamaldehyde and citral were significantly extended compared with their normal solutions. This study provides several lead compounds to develop new mosquito repellents, and it suggests that nanoemulsification is an effective method for improving the duration of the activity of natural repellents.
