    Abstract: In this study, we investigated the formation and influence of Ag particles on the physical properties and photocatalytic performance of Ag3PO4 photocatalysts when Ag particles adhered to the Ag3PO4 surface. The material is prepared by a simple precipitation method with illumination. The properties of the materials were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman scattering, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), UV-vis absorption, and the photocatalytic ability to decompose organic solutions. The results show the vibrational change of the [PO4] group in the structure presented in the Raman scattering spectrum highest RhB decomposition. The experimental results indicated that the Ag\Ag3PO4 showed highly efficient and stable photocatalytic activity under visible light irradiation. The Ag\Ag3PO4 sample with the Ag+\PO43- the ratio of 3.6\1 gave efficiency when stimulated with visible light of Xenon lamps. This sample degraded almost completely to RhB in 10 ppm solution after 15 min of illumination, with a decomposition rate of 0.241 min-1.

    Abstract: Particulate matter (PM) is a major environmental concern in Vietnam as well as in the world. Samples of PM2.5, PM10, and total suspended particle (TSP) were collected on the rooftop of a five-floor building inside Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Hanoi, from January to May 2015. The levels PM2,5, PM10, and the metal elements of TSP were determined. PM2,5 and PM10 had average concentrations of 73 ± 37 and 138 ± 67 μg\m3, respectively. The concentration of PM2,5 and PM10 in all samples were higher than the recommended level in the World Health Organization (WHO) guideline (2005) for 24h and annual concentrations of 25 and 50 μg\m3, respectively. Nineteen elements detected in TSP samples included the higher concentration group in order: Ca 〉 Fe 〉 Na 〉 Al 〉 Mg 〉 K 〉 Zn and in the lower concentration group: Pb 〉 Mn 〉 Ti 〉 Sr 〉 V 〉 Cr 〉 Cd. The potential sources revealed from element components were discussed.

    Abstract: The paper analyzes the impact of living value and life skills in educational program throughout the aspects of awareness, attitudes, behaviors and self-confidence of 471 primary teachers in Tien Lang, Hai Phong in applying living values and life skills for themselves, their family and students. The surveys were applied on teachers' opinions of implementation of life skill education for elementary school students in Tien Lang, Hai Phong. Then this paper helps to analyze the difficulties, advantages and suggest recommendations for the teacher to improve their education. This paper also discusses some factors that need to be supplemented, adjusted to improve the quality and effectiveness of training for elementary teachers in Tien Lang, Hai Phong in the context of educational renovation in Vietnam.

    Abstract: This study aims to survey the state of psychological health, specifically the psychological difficulties of 231 junior high school and high school students in Ho Chi Minh City (111 high school pupils & 120 junior high school pupils) through a self-report survey on those areas: (1) Study; (2) Psychophysiological development; (3) Communication with friends; (4) Communication with parents; (5) Communication with teachers. 111 high schoolersalso completed one more area, which is vocational orientation. Research results showed that junior high schoolersface the most difficulties in the field of study, high school students have the most difficulties in the field of study, vocational orientation and psychological development. The level of psychological difficulty in pupils are different in terms of grade level, gender, education, family's economic situation, and mother's educational level. The study also showed that junior and high school students often choose to solve their psychological difficulties by sharing with friends, confiding with their parents, relatives and participating in collective activities. About half of the students were satisfied with the schoolpsychological support givento them. Most teachers believed that students should be assisted by psychologists, not teachers and school facilities regarding this problem.

    Abstract: The Khang Dan 18 is one of the rice cultivars widely cultivated in Vietnam, which is threatened by saline intrusion. This study is conducted to establish an in vitro culture system for evaluate salt tolerance of the rice cultivar Khang Dan 18. First, different culture conditions, including plant growth regulator concentration, culture period, light regime, were optimized to induce and maintain callus in vitro. Culture media supplemented with 10 - 40 µM 2,4- Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) are suitable for inducing callus. Different culture periods (1, 2 and 4 weeks) significantly affected the callus morphology and nature. The 10-hour light photoperiod is the most effective condition for callus induction and multiplication. Callus cultured in the medium supplemented exclusively with 2,4-D showed higher quality compared to those in media supplemented with 1-Naphthylacetic acid (NAA) and 2,4-D. Different photoperiods also affected callus differentiation in terms of root\shoot induction. The established culture system was then employed to evaluate salt tolerance of the callus. The growth of callus was significantly decreased when the concentrations of NaCl increased (3, 6 and 9‰, P = 0.05), especially at the concentration of 9‰ NaCl caused a strong decrease in callus weight and an obvious change in callus morphology. This culture system may be applied for in vitro salt stress studies on the cultivar Khang Dan 18 and similar rice cultivars.
