Abstract: Abstract: In recent years, Pneumonia has become a serious issue in people. The pneumonia which affects the lungs in a way by accumulating the fluid in the lungs. This pneumonia should be treated effectively and should be identified in early stages. The inaccuracies of some algorithms had created problems in diagnosing pneumonia. We came up with an idea to detect pneumonia by taking Chest X-rays and applying a novel algorithm which includes Feature maps, gradient vanishing, skip connection and faster training of the model, minimum computation. This could bring significant impact and help the doctors to identify the pneumonia on their knowledge as we will train the model with different images and we identify Pneumonia effectively.

Abstract: Abstract: The present study was conducted to determine the use pattern of tractors and to establish the relationship between life, maintenance cost, and use pattern of the tractors in selected regions of Odisha. Data was collected with the help of a prestructured questionnaire through personal interviews of farmers in three districts of Odisha. Districts Mayurbhanj, Sonepur, and Nuapada for the study. From each district, three blocks were selected, and from each block, two villages were randomly selected from each of these villages, ten farmers who owned the tractor and equipment with cultivable land were randomly selected. The results showed that most of the tractor owners in all the two districts had medium landholdings (4-10 ha) comprising nearly 46% of the total tractor ownerships. The use of tractors was used mostly for non-agricultural purposes like transportation of construction materials as compared to agricultural purposes. Abstract: Abstract: The system of using pre-made bar codes to identify a product during its billing process is time-consuming and labour intensive. The relatively unique barcode needs to be first produced, then it must be manually attached to the product. This requires a lot of pre-processing work on the products to make them ready for identification and classification. This paper presents an alternate system that works on the principle of using the products’ natural characteristics like its discrete and distinguishable looks to identify and classify them during the billing process. It’s mimicking the human way of identifying and distinguishing the products. To implement this system, we need to move away from conventional methods of programming and use a different paradigm for designing software systems based on an artificial intelligence concept i.e., machine learning. We use machine learning techniques to design the working philosophy of this system. The algorithms in Deep Neural Networks which is a part of Artificial Neural Networks, help in creating a model to base our software system’s operational logic. Especially the models based on Convolutional Neural Networks have been proven to be efficient in providing a model for image classification. This paper discusses the abstracted software system from the base billing process without worrying about the hardware environment. We choose Python and its web framework Django to design the UI to implement this system over a distributed network within any establishment that needs to incorporate this process so that each node that has to process billing need not have to adhere to the hardware requirements imposed on them to run the various CNN models which are reliant on the GPU-based tensor architecture of TensorFlow. The system also provides mechanisms for inventory management over distributed networks and simple data analytics based on local sales.

Abstract: Abstract: The process of billing a product in a retail outlet is done using the system of pre-made barcodes or RFIDs. This is done to keep a track of the items and identify them in the billing process, but it is time-consuming and labour-intensive as all items need to be affixed with barcodes before being used. Most of the small to medium scale retail stores also have a large part of their sales with items of a variable quantity, which cannot be affixed with barcodes as their quantity is determined dynamically and according to the customer’s needs. In this paper, we have explored various technologies including but not limited to computer vision, object detection and image recognition, especially due to its latest boom with machine learning and deep learning. We have briefed our findings on technologies that can be used to build efficient and novel systems to solve the issues that arise with using systems that are labour intensive, redundant, time-consuming and explore ways to incorporate items that can be packed with variable quantities. Abstract: Abstract: Psychometric tests and personality assessments are widely used in a variety of settings, from academic research to employment screening. Traditional methods of administering and scoring these tests can be time-consuming and labor-intensive, making them difficult to scale or automate. However, recent advances in machine learning have made it possible to develop more efficient and accurate psychometric tests and personality assessments. This paper provides an overview of the use of machine learning in the development and administration of psychometric tests and personality assessments. We discuss the benefits and limitations of machine learning-based approaches, including the ability to process large amounts of data quickly and identify complex patterns that may not be immediately apparent to human observers. We also review some of the key challenges associated with using machine learning in this context, including the need for high-quality data and the potential for algorithmic bias. Overall, we argue that machine learning has the potential to revolutionize the field of psychometric testing and personality assessment, enabling researchers and practitioners to develop more efficient, accurate, and equitable assessment tools. However, we caution that careful consideration must be given to issues of data quality, bias, and fairness in order to ensure that machine learning-based assessments are truly effective and equitable

Abstract: Abstract: Hardware version of the project: Gesture Vocalizer is a multi-microcontroller-based framework intended to work with the correspondence among the imbecilic, hard of hearing and visually impaired networks and their correspondence with the ordinary individuals. This system can be flexibly changed to function as a "smart device.". In this project we showcased a gesture vocalizer based on a microcontroller and sensors. Gesture vocalizer design is basically a hand glove and a microcontroller system. A hand glove can detect practically all hand gestures, and a microcontroller-based system can translate a few of those gestures into identifiable speech. The hand glove has two types of sensors: flex sensors that act as bend sensors and accelerometers that act as tilt sensors. This device is advantageous to deaf people because it allows their hands to speak once they have worn the gesture vocalizer glove. In this project we use flex sensors and Arduino Mega microcontroller which are the backbone of the project. The flex sensor otherwise called the twist sensor is a sort of sensor that measures the measure of bowing or avoidance or flexing as the name proposes. As the sensors are bowed the sensors give us an obstruction esteem, the sensor gives so the more the sensors are twisted, more opposition esteem. When estimated with a multimeter, the flex sensor at a level and consistent position gives an opposition esteem close to 25k ohm while when the sensors are completely bowed, they give an obstruction worth of 72k ohm. The flex sensors are typically of a slim construction and are entirely agreeable to utilize, and can be twisted without utilizing a lot of power.

Abstract: Abstract: In India, major part of electricity is produced from thermal power plants. These thermal power plants use different types of fuels for combustion. During combustion of coal as a fuel in these thermal power plants, a byproduct namely fly ash is produced. Indian coal has highest ash content as compared to coal found in other countries. There are nearly 85 thermal power plants in India which uses coal as source for power generation and thus produces a large amount of fly ash. This fly ash is disposed in soil, which in turn causes a lot of environmental problems. To overcome this disposal of fly ash into the soil, it can be used in concrete by partially replacing with cement. This study deals with investigation for M25 Grade of newlineconcrete to study the mechanical properties of Steel fiber reinforced concrete newline(SFRC) containing fiber of an interval of 0.5% from 0.0% to 2.0% by new line weight of cement. In this study are steel fibres are used and compare properties with conventional concrete. In this study we are casting 6 cubes and 6 cylinders out of which 2 each for 7, 14, 28 days. Keywords: Steel fibres, Cement and Compressive Strength, GGBS, Fly Ash, SFRC, Cement, Compressive Strength, Split Tensile Strength
