    Abstract: We present the detection potential for the diffuse supernova neutrino background (DSNB) at the Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO), using the inverse-beta-decay (IBD) detection channel on free protons. We employ the latest information on the DSNB flux predictions, and investigate in detail the background and its reduction for the DSNB search at JUNO. The atmospheric neutrino induced neutral current (NC) background turns out to be the most critical background, whose uncertainty is carefully evaluated from both the spread of model predictions and an envisaged in situ measurement. We also make a careful study on the background suppression with the pulse shape discrimination (PSD) and triple coincidence (TC) cuts. With latest DSNB signal predictions, more realistic background evaluation and PSD efficiency optimization, and additional TC cut, JUNO can reach the significance of 3σ for 3 years of data taking, and achieve better than 5σ after 10 years for a reference DSNB model. In the pessimistic scenario of non-observation, JUNO would strongly improve the limits and exclude a significant region of the model parameter space.

    Abstract: The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) is a large liquid scintillator detector designed to explore many topics in fundamental physics. In this study, the potential of searching for proton decay in the mode with JUNO is investigated. The kaon and its decay particles feature a clear three-fold coincidence signature that results in a high efficiency for identification. Moreover, the excellent energy resolution of JUNO permits suppression of the sizable background caused by other delayed signals. Based on these advantages, the detection efficiency for the proton decay via is 36.9% ± 4.9% with a background level of events after 10 years of data collection. The estimated sensitivity based on 200 kton-years of exposure is years, which is competitive with the current best limits on the proton lifetime in this channel and complements the use of different detection technologies.

    Abstract: The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector. Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for B solar neutrino measurements, such as its low-energy threshold, high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors, and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors. In this paper, we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process. A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable, assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background U and Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10 g/g. With ten years of data acquisition, approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected. This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter, which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework. If eV , JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3 (2 ) level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle. Moreover, JUNO can simultaneously measure using B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better, depending on the central value, and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos. A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment.

    Abstract: Aiming at the problems of high cost, low efficiency, poor accuracy, and incomplete coverage existing in the on-site calibration operation mode of smart electricity meters, a remote estimation method of operation error of smart electricity meters was proposed by analyzing the big data under the advanced measurement system, which took into account the error fluctuation and nonlinear dynamic line loss. Firstly, the fluctuation of smart meter error was analyzed, and the remote estimation model of smart meter operation error was established by screening the electricity quantity data with similar operation states to reduce the influence of error fluctuation in the subsequent model solving. Secondly, the traditional line loss estimation method is improved, and a nonlinear dynamic line loss model is proposed to make the line loss change nonlinearly with the actual power supply so that the error estimate in the model is closer to the actual value. The results show that the proposed method effectively improves the accuracy of the operation error estimation results of smart electricity meters, helps to detect abnormal measurement points timely and accurately, and provides support for the efficient operation and maintenance of smart power grids.

    Abstract: In order to enhance the economic benefits of fruit and vegetable cash crop facilities for agriculture, precise stereotactic of compensatory pollination technology in effective pollination period, is the effectively improve the fruit setting rate and the economic benefits of crop. The effects of honeybee pollination on the flowering can provide theoretical support for crop yield and ecological security. However, manual spraying of compensatory pollination technology is high, the working efficiency is low, and the control strategies based on single multiple UAV faces great challenges, which are the effects of flight heights on the droplet deposition and distribution. In this paper, firstly, flow chart of multiple unmanned aerial vehicles in facility agriculture for precise stereotactic of compensatory pollination method is given. Then, the thermogenesis and precise detection of the flower tissues is studied. Last, simulation of 16 UAVs and the effectiveness of the theoretical results is given in Matlab environment. Time varying formation control, formation tracking control of UAVs in facility agriculture, which based on precise stereotactic of compensatory pollination technology, provides a feasible solution scheme for ecological unmanned farm.

    Abstract: Smart electricity meter is the key instrument to realize the accurate measurement of electricity consumption. However, with the increase of the service life of electricity meter, its measurement accuracy will deteriorate. Aiming at the problems that a single parameter cannot accurately characterize the performance degradation process of the electric meter, and the traditional intelligent learning model is difficult to accurately fit the degradation model of the smart electric meter, a new method is proposed to fuse the data to construct the electric meter health index, and combine the multi-model similarity matching and the integrated model to calculate the residual energy of the electric meter. Methods of life prediction. Hierarchical clustering and silhouette coefficients are used to filter parameters and fuse them into a meter health index. Multi-model similarity matching is used for regression model prediction to optimize the prediction results of the model. Select a meter measurement data set to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. The results show that the method has the advantages of fast prediction speed, and the fusion of health index and multi-model similarity matching greatly improves the prediction accuracy of the remaining life of the electric meter.

    Abstract: Video object detection is of great significance for video analysis. In contrast to object detection in still image, video object detection is more challenging which suffers from motion blur, varying view-points/pose, and occlusion. Existing methods utilized temporal information during detection in videos and show improvement over static-image detector. In this paper, we propose a novel method for video object detection that can aggregate features across adjacent frames adaptively as well as capture more global cues so as to be more robust to drastic appearance changes. Initially, current frame feature and warped feature from adjacent frames can be obtained via feature extraction network and optical flow network. Next, a coherence contribution module is designed for adaptively feature aggregation of the two kinds of features obtained from the first step. Finally, the still-image detector which included an extra instance-level module that agregates features from adjacent frames for capturing more global feature is adopted to get the final result. The experimental results evaluated on our method shows leading performance on the ImageNet VID dataset.

    Abstract: Temporal action detection is an important research topic in computer vision, of which Temporal Action Proposal (TAP) generation is a key step for finding candidate action segments. Our paper provides an action proposal generation network for temporally untrimmed videos in which a new effective and efficient deep architecture named action keyframe connection network for temporal action proposal Generation. Firstly, a two-stream network is adopted to extract frame-level features which inclued appearance feature and optical flow feature. The temporal information helps the subsequent network to determine whether a frame is the beginning or the ending of the action. Secondly, a position discrimination network is designed to infer the probability of each frame being starting frame or ending frame. The network outputs a starting probability sequence and an ending probability sequence which indicates the start of the action and the end of the action respectively. Finally, our network generates a proposal by a specific threshold rule combining the points in the starting probability sequence and the ending probability sequence. We carry out experiments on ActivityNet dataset to compare our proposed method with the state-of-the-art methods. Experiment results show that our method achieves superior performance over other methods.

    Abstract: No sunshine in winter and extremely hot & humid in summer is the typical Shanghai Climate condition, all make it especially difficult for passive design. According to a recent field survey, there are more than 11,000 villages separates in Great Shanghai region, some of them still keep their original building form for around 100 years. These local dwelling still provide a relatively good internal environment for the local habitat. According to our recent detailed survey and draw of these heritage dwellings (more than 100 housing, located in Feng Xian, Pudong), we focused on what we can learn from the traditional wisdom in passive design and aesthetics to adopt Shanghai Climate condition. Also, Shanghai climate data is analysed to support these findings.
