Abstract: A thermal simulation test machine was used to conduct high-temperature compression tests on two sets of 685 test steels with and without rare earths. Through linear fitting analysis and microstructure observation, the effect of rare earths on the high-temperature deformation behavior of 685 armored steel was studied. The results show that when the deformation temperature is 1000°C, La-Ce mixed rare earth can increase the deformation resistance of steel, and the influence varies with the amount of compression deformation, while at 1100°C, the rare earth has no obvious influence on the deformation resistance of steel. After adding rare earth, the recrystallization activation energy of steel is increased by 6.78%. Mixed rare earth (La-Ce) has an inhibitory effect on the recrystallization of steel. Using Origin8.0 software for regression analysis, a mathematical model of armored steel containing rare earths is established. The model has good curve fitting characteristics, and the calculated values are basically in agreement with the experimental values.

Abstract: Infrared temperature measurement is an effective means for insulator health monitoring, and the theoretical basis and the subsequent diagnosis methods have been widely studied. However, in practical applications, the influence of insulator itself on fault temperature rise is rarely considered. In this paper, the temperature rise experiment of composite insulator was conducted to study the influence of sheath thickness and core rod diameter on fault temperature rise. According to the experimental results, the evolution law of fault temperature rise with the change of sheath thickness and core rod diameter was obtained. On this basis, the design strategy for composite insulators was proposed.

Abstract: The 30MnCrNiMo alloy steel was modified by La-Ce mixed rare earth. The experiment used metallographic microscope, scanning electron microscope and energy spectrum to analyze the improvement behavior of rare earth on the as-cast structure of the alloy steel, the structure after heat treatment, and the morphology of inclusions; a thermal dilatometer was used to analyze the phase transition point, and a reasonable heat treatment process was developed; the effect of rare earth on the mechanical properties of alloy steel at room temperature, low temperature impact and tensile was analyzed. The results show that the 30MnCrNiMo alloy steel modified by rare earth has better refinement of the as-cast grains and the grains after heat treatment, and the size, morphology and distribution of inclusions have been improved. The addition of rare earths improves the impact toughness, especially the low-temperature impact. Compared with alloy steel without rare earth, the toughness can be increased by up to 38%, and the alloy strength has been improved to a certain extent.

Abstract: Large - scale bimetal composite wear-resistant elbow was fabricated by lost - die casting, the non-working layer of the outer wall of the bend was made of 16Mn steel pipe, and the inner working layer was made of high chromium cast iron. This paper introduced the preparation technology and method of elbow from the aspects of material composition selection, melting process, lost mold casting process and heat treatment process, analyzed and solved the problems of box collapse and box expansion in the casting process. The wear test shown that the wear resistance of bimetallic composite elbow was twice that of 16Mn material elbow. The service life of the composite elbow was 2~3 times that of the original single material elbow.

Abstract: In order to study the impact performance of 685 armored steel with different mischmetal content, the impact performance of the steel at room temperature and -40°C was tested, and the impact fracture morphology and microstructure were observed and analyzed. The results show that the addition of mixed rare earth La-Ce to the test steel improves the tempered martensite structure and refines the austenite grains. At the same time, the inclusions in the steel are modified, and the elongated MnS inclusions are modified. It is a spherical composite rare earth inclusion, and the size of the inclusion is reduced from 6 μ m to 2 μ m. Compared with the test steel without rare earth, the room temperature impact performance of the mixed rare earth test steel and the -40 °C low temperature impact performance are improved. When the La-Ce content is 102 × 10 −6 , the room temperature impact energy of the protective steel increases by 24.5%, and the low temperature impact energy at -40 °C increases by 17. 4%. The results of the shooting test showed that the protection level of rare earth-containing armored steel reached NATO Level 2.

Abstract: Ultra-high-speed laser cladding technology is used to clad the surface anti-corrosion layer of tungsten cathode for molten salt electrolysis. Using MSC. Marc finite element simulation software, optical microscope (OM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy spectrum (EDS), X-ray diffractometer (XRD) and microhardness tester and other analytical testing methods, respectively, the cladding process, the cladding layer microstructure morphology, phase composition, phase distribution and microhardness are simulated, and the structure is observed and analyzed. The simulation results show that the preheating process before cladding for the tungsten substrate can effectively avoid the cracking phenomenon caused by internal stress; the structure and performance observation results show that the cladding layer has a dense structure and no cracks, forming a good metallurgical bond with the substrate, the difference in the structure of the cladding layer affects the hardness of the cladding layer.

Abstract: Copper coating was fabricated by the forging process. The quasi-static properties of the coating were simulated by low power microscope, metallographic microscope, scanning electron microscope, bench Brinell hardness, and thermal simulation tester. The effects of rare earth on the as-cast grains, recrystallized grains, mechanical properties, and dynamic properties of the copper dome were studied. The experimental results show that the as-cast grains and recrystallized grains can be refined obviously by adding rare earth, and the mechanical properties can be improved in different amplitude. The samples with rare earth addition are more sensitive to strain rate and have higher yield strength at higher strain rate.

Abstract: In order to improve the service life of the hammer head of the crusher, the high chromium cast iron-medium carbon low alloy steel double liquid composite hammer head is used to replace the single material high manganese steel hammer head; the production process uses lost foam casting instead of sand casting. This article mainly studies the production technology of composite hammers from the aspects of hammer material selection, model making, pouring system design, pouring process and heat treatment process, and uses a metallurgical microscope to observe the bonding interface, and uses a scanning electron microscope to observe both sides of the interface. For element diffusion, the universal testing machine tests the interface combination. The results show that the composite hammer has a firm bonding surface and good bonding quality.
